Chapter 198: Chapter 173 Overlord Vonier, The War Ends
[Overlord Woner]
Originating from "Dark Souls 3," he is the final boss of the Casas Underground Tomb guarded by the Fran Undead Team.
In an era when nurous kings stood side by side, the gods bestowed crowns upon the kings as equals.
As one of these kings, Woner conquered various nations and led his kingdom of Casas to demolish the other crowns. When only his own crown remained, the "Overlord" was thus born.
Yet, as he reached the peak of power, destruction followed.
He began to explore the forbidden power known as the "Abyss," regardless of his purposes, the outco was that he got carried away. The forbidden power kept pulling him into the Abyss, and ultimately, it was only by slaughtering Holy personnel and obtaining Holy Objects that he survived being devoured by the Abyss. Gasping for life within the Underground Cetery, he was later suppressed by the Fran Undead Team.
It is said that his purpose for constructing the Underground Cetery was to obtain the ancient gods’ power, coveting the strength of the deity known as [Tomb King Nite], aspiring to beco "the ultimate deceased." Regrettably, before his grand ambitions could be realized, they were destroyed by the Undead Team drawn by the scent of the Abyss.
Woner, who never believed in gods throughout his life, in the end, cowered in the Abyss, clutching the bracelet and Holy Sword taken from Holy personnel, praying to be saved.
This is a pitiable and ironic character; he doesn’t even need to be defeated in battle, just break his bracelet, and he will be devoured by the Abyss in despair.
But that is in the ga.
If Overlord Woner were to be summoned into this world...
The dark Abyss would erode the ground completely, showing signs of even spreading towards Corruption Lake.
Connected with the Abyss is Overlord Woner.
The giant skeletal figure stands upon the earth, and even with just its upper body, its majesty is evident. Upon its ferocious skull is the crown symbolizing his ultimate rule, while the forces of death and the Abyss intertwine, attacking and destroying each other, continuously dying and resurrecting. The bracelet emits pure light, suppressing those dark forces.
If there were soone here who had seen the bonfire shadows, they would be astonished at the resemblance between Overlord Woner and Tomb King Nite, although Woner’s power of death is far less than that of Tomb King Nite, it is still an authentic force.
His size is several tis larger than in the ga, even the Chiric Mother is but an undeveloped elentary school student in comparison.
By Overlord’s side, any person would be incredibly insignificant!
"....."
Overlord Woner slowly twisted its head, its hollow eye sockets fixed on the Chiric Mother, and also on Ganago behind it.
Trembling, trembling, still trembling.
Apart from trembling, Ganago didn’t know what other reactions to have.
Unlike the heart-wrenching despair at the sight of Corruption Lake, his current state was closer to one "that has given up on thinking," his mind completely filled by the towering figure before him.
Various emotions surged forth, fear, doubt, confusion... and reverence.
He feared the Abyss, feared the power of Overlord Woner; in his eyes, Woner was not a pitiable survivor but a ruler presiding over death.
Doubt, doubting why Sain Dungeon could summon such a formidable existence, even the generals in the Demon King Army would kneel before this power, perhaps even the Four Heavenly Kings...
Confusion, not understanding where Sain Dungeon obtained the spiritual power, even a Dungeon with fourth-level clearance wouldn’t possibly summon such a powerful monster, no, Demon King.
And reverence was the emotion he felt the mont he saw Overlord Woner, he couldn’t help but venerate the Overlord, the idea of kneeling already brewing in his mind.
In front of the Overlord, he was nothing but an ant.
Damn it, how am I supposed to fight this, Ganago’s knees buckled, and he fell to the ground, unable to muster any thought of resistance!
He looked at the Chiric Mother and felt a sudden sense of desolation.
Not even ten Chiric Mothers could defeat the grand existence before him; it was laughable that he had earlier bragged, claiming that he would not submit unless defeated by a monster.
Ganago barely managed a smile, saying shakily: "Is it possible to surrender and lose only half..."
At this mont? You can’t be joking.
Sain Dungeon’s silence filled him with imnse fear; recalling now, he realized that since the battle began, he had not received any ssages from Gong Qiying.
He arrogantly thought the other side was scared, but now, it seed that they had simply not considered him at all.
"Haha..." Ganago couldn’t help but laugh out loud, his expression vacant.
Overlord Woner raised its giant bony arm, but whether it was death or the Abyss, it did not utilize either power.
"Boom!"
With its overwhelming size, it pressed the Chiric Mother firmly to the ground as if squashing a bug.
Tentacles waved frantically under the bones, struggling vainly in resistance, but it was futile.
Ganago gave up thinking, so the surviving worm swarm heeded the Chiric Mother’s command, suicidally rushing towards Woner.
The latter exhaled black Miasma Fog, instantly stripping life from any Chiric Worm that ca into contact. Falling like raindrops to the ground, the insignificant worms ant nothing under the power of death.
The skeletal Kassas Warriors fell from Overlord’s body, these bloodthirsty warriors who excelled at killing were ant to protect their king, but as they stood up, the enemies were already all dead.
