Moreover, the individuals materialized by the Illusory Fairyland were a special existence, sowhere between being and non-being.
While the Purgatory Evil Ghost’s attacks could touch them, they could not truly be killed.

Duo Mu’s pupil suddenly contracted, and with only one eye remaining, imdiately recognized their essence.
Back in the Netherworld’s initial fusion with the Mountain and Sea Realm, similar creatures appeared briefly.

With a hint of mirth in her voice, Celestial Monarch Yan spoke once more.
"With these fake souls? Artificial Evil Ghosts?"
In stark contrast to the imposing aura of the Lord of Ghosts and Gods, Celestial Monarch Yan mostly maintained a deanor of light breeze and clouds.
Yet it was this very deanor of Celestial Monarch Yan that granted the presence behind the scenes a great sense of peril.
—She was their nesis!
When such a notion crossed the mind of the presence behind the scenes, it realized it had encountered a formidable adversary.

At this point, Celestial Monarch Yan sighed regretfully.
