"Are you bastards toying with ?!"
The Roger Pirates' reaction sent Roldi into a rage. To him, it felt like they were treating this battle as a joke.
Furious, he lunged forward at blinding speed, targeting one of the crew's ordinary combatants. His massive palm ca crashing down without rcy.
The strangely relaxed Roger Pirates finally snapped back to attention. Their expressions changed drastically. Rayleigh and Gaban both moved to intervene—
But soone was even faster.
Seeing the curved blade that blocked his strike, Roldi raised an eyebrow. Then the fury in his heart burned even hotter.
"So you haven't lost your fighting spirit after all! Is this your idea of mocking ?!"
The feeling of being looked down on infuriated him.
Roger, however, looked utterly bewildered.
He swore he hadn't been belittling Roldi at all—that was genuinely how he thought.
But when he spoke, it ca out differently.
"Roldi, you brat, don't you think you're going a bit too far? And don't tell
you really think so snot-nosed kid like you has the right to stand in my way?"
Roger's words rarely passed through his brain first—but his strength more than justified them.
Still, in the entire Roger Pirates crew, only he had the right to speak like that.
Seeing the crew behind Roger laughing uproariously, sothing changed in Roldi's eyes.
His pupils turned crimson. The whites of his eyes darkened to pitch black. White fur bristled along his body as arcs of electricity crackled across it.
It was dusk.
On the horizon, a full moon began to rise.
A savage, primal aura erupted from him—like a beast from ancient tis. Rayleigh's pupils shrank as he recalled the intelligence reports on Roldi, then glanced at the moon and Roldi's current state.
This was—
"Not good! Everyone, defensive positions!"
Rayleigh roared. The authority of the vice captain manifested instantly. Over ninety percent of the crew reacted on instinct, bracing themselves.
The slower ones weren't so lucky.
Before everyone's eyes, Roldi's six-ter fra swelled to fifteen ters. His massive build now rivaled that of a giant.
More beastly traits erged. White fur cascaded from his shoulders like a hero's cloak. His claws and fangs glead coldly. Endless killing intent flooded the area.
The sheer density of that bloodlust produced an effect similar to Conqueror's Haki. Weaker fighters felt their heads spin; without support from their comrades, they would have collapsed outright.
Crack!
Brilliant blue lightning exploded where Roldi clashed with Roger.
It was the innate ability of the Mink Tribe—Electro.
But the electricity Roldi wielded far surpassed that of ordinary Minks.
Even Roger, now struck directly, was in poor condition. Every hair on his body stood on end. His hair and mustache were distorted by the current.
And yet—
He remained standing.
Roger wasn't a rare race. Just an ordinary human.
Well… aside from monstrous strength, absurd talent, an extraordinary physique, and ridiculous luck.
"Gahahaha! This is exhilarating!"
Even Roger's voice crackled with static. Thin trails of smoke rose from his mouth, but his excitent only grew.
After all—
Who could resist a man who shoots lightning?
But to Roldi, Roger's laughter was pure provocation.
And soon, Roger stopped laughing.
"Momo: Thirtyfold Amplification—Thunder Funeral!"
With Roldi's roar, the lightning that had once been little more than a nuisance multiplied thirtyfold.
Blinding thunder illuminated the entire battlefield. This had reached the level of one hundred million volts—far beyond human limits.
Roger's hair and clothing began to carbonize. Starting from the fine hairs on his arms, the current spread to his captain's coat.
The madness on Roldi's face was terrifying.
For the sake of their captain, the crew's sniper could no longer hold back. Raising his rifle, he coated the bullet in Armant Haki before firing without hesitation.
The gun was clearly custom-made at enormous expense, and the bullet—
Was Seastone.
With Armant Haki enhancing its power, the shot struck true, knocking Roldi's hand aside.
"Perfect timing—Divine Departure!"
Even if his intellect was questionable, Roger's combat instincts were flawless.
He coated Ace—his Supre Grade blade—with Advanced Conqueror's Haki Coating. Dark-red lightning surged violently as a devastating slash tore through the air.
It pierced Roldi's physical defenses effortlessly, sending him flying just as Roger had once done to Kozuki Oden.
Roldi crashed through several trees before finally stopping. His abdon churned; the tallic taste of blood rose to his throat—but he forced it back down.
Roger truly was Roger.
A monster among monsters—one of the absolute strongest on the seas.
Roldi pulled himself free from the shattered tree trunk, shaking his arm irritably. With a casual slap, he finished breaking the half-destroyed tree.
He lifted his head, locking his gaze onto Roger hundreds of ters away.
The crimson in his pupils expanded, doubling in size—sinister and feral.
"ROAR!"
He howled at the fully risen moon.
His body expanded once more.
Bathed in pure moonlight, the full power of his Mink bloodline erupted. He unleashed his Conqueror's Haki without restraint.
What had once seed unremarkable to top-tier fighters now manifested as tangible destruction.
An aura like an abyssal demon engulfed the battlefield.
The Roger Pirates could no longer laugh.
"Looks like… we're going all out this ti."
Roger's lips curled upward as he muttered.
He felt it—a presence capable of threatening him.
Roldi, whose strength had already been approaching Admiral level, had taken the final step under the full moon.
The crew's expressions turned grave.
If their captain said sothing like that, then things had truly gone beyond expectation.
Then—
They suddenly realized Roger had vanished.
"No—over there!"
One crew mber shouted.
They followed the direction of his pointing finger.
Their eyes widened. Their mouths fell open.
Gol D. Roger—the man who shook the seas—was now gripping his sword with both hands, straining to block the charge of a colossal beast before him.
The earth was gouged into two massive trenches.
Towering like a giant, Roldi had completely lost himself in battle.
"So… this is the origin of that 'Rampaging' title of his…"
Rayleigh murmured blankly.
