This was a disaster of unprecedented magnitude for humanity, and there was absolutely no hiding it. After various nations initiated their contingency plans, the news still got out.

Such news instantly caused imnse panic among humans, as there was an extraterrestrial civilization with unknown intentions approaching Earth!

Humans had made countless movies about aliens, and although in those movies humanity always erged victorious in the end, the power and mystery of extraterrestrial civilizations had long cast a shadow in their minds.

At that ti, the Aricas officially announced that they had assembled a fleet of 200 warships. They would represent humankind in making contact with the civilization at that location!

To prove the strength of this fleet, during a live global broadcast, they maneuvered a spaceship into the asteroid belt and used the onboard beam cannon to instantly shatter an asteroid over five kiloters in diater!

Witnessing this exhilarating scene, humanity boiled over with excitent!

The power of the warship far exceeded their imaginations. Once, a scientist had analyzed that humanity currently had no ans to intercept an asteroid over five kiloters in diater, regardless of whether nuclear bombs or other weapons were used—it was impossible!

The extinction of dinosaurs was very likely caused by the impact of a ten-kiloter-diater asteroid, and even if the diater was halved, the threat to humans would be enormous.

But the beam cannon of this spaceship could directly nearly obliterate the five-kiloter asteroid, and even the largest fragnt would not exceed five ters in diater!

The warship then fired upon an asteroid over ten kiloters in diater, and at that mont, although the asteroid didn't disintegrate completely, it split into hundreds of smaller pieces.

The fragnts from the exploding asteroid struck the surface of the spaceship at an extrely high speed, but only left shallow marks on its strong tal surface.

What did this represent? It signified that the Arican space fleet had fully acquired the capability for interstellar combat!

With 100 such warships facing the enemy's single spaceship, they had almost an unshakeable belief in victory!

...

"General Scheteli, the enemy's spaceship is still 24 hours of travel away from us. Please give your instructions!" a soldier saluted General Scheteli.

"What's the status of the fleet?"

"Reporting to the general, all warships are ready. The energy, power, and weapons have all been checked and can embark on combat missions at any ti!"

"Combat mission?" General Scheteli chuckled, "I happen to think that we may not necessarily get to that stage. I imagine when they see our warships, they will be quite surprised. In these tens of thousands of years, Earth has evolved from a group of primitive apes into a civilization of high-intelligence beings capable of contending with them."

"Hahaha, yes, General, they probably won't even feel like running away when they see our fleet, right?"

"But General, the President has instructed us that our most important objective is not to defeat them, but to try and communicate with them," said the soldier, "Since they have mastered interstellar travel technology tens of thousands of years ago, it's highly possible that their society has developed to a degree that's completely different from ours."

"What do you an?" General Scheteli was a military man and didn't understand sociology.

"On our Earth, the highest social structure is nothing more than international and intercontinental exchanges, but in advanced civilizations, perhaps they have realized a higher level of social structure, such as exchanges between civilizations, between star systems," the soldier explained.

"If we can be the first to establish contact with them, maybe we can also join their social structure, being the first to interact with other civilizations in the universe and acquire more knowledge of civilization at the fastest speed."

"Truly like the President, always thinking further than us!" General Scheteli smiled.

Huaxia indeed was impressive, but no matter how formidable, could they compare with an even more advanced civilization? As long as they were the first to integrate into the cosmic society, they believed that in a very short ti, their technological level would surpass Huaxia once again.

Therefore, this contact with the other civilization was extrely important!

...

Less than one astronomical unit away from Earth, a pitch-black spacecraft was steadily advancing towards the center of the Solar System.

The length of the spacecraft reached 2.4 kiloters. It almost rged with the cosmos itself, hardly reflecting any light, like an assassin slipping through the shadows.

In the cockpit of the spacecraft, there were beings sowhat resembling Earthlings, except their skin appeared sickly pale, like that of albinism. They were slender with elongated limbs, and their heads were nearly half again as large as that of Earthlings.

They wore silver-white suits and worked on the spacecraft's operating system.

In the center of everyone, there stood an exceptionally tall intelligent life form. Unlike the other spacecraft operators, his muscles were well-defined, and an aura of superiority enveloped him.

"How much longer until we reach the Blue Star?"

"Captain Bates, about 24 Blue Star hours," said another person standing next to the intelligent life form addressed as the captain.

"Hard to believe that after such a long search, this Blue Star is in such a remote area of the Orion Nebula. Our ancestors were really unlucky," Captain Bates murmured to himself. "But it's also fortunate; we actually intercepted a flying device from Blue Star. In tens of thousands of years, they have evolved an elentary civilization."

"Captain, this is good news for us. A life-bearing planet is worth quite a bit of money! If we trade the population there, we could make a fortune."

"Do we have information on the life forms of this planet?"

"A preliminary assessnt has been made. This civilization's level is still at Level One Elentary, but it seems they obtained so data from your ancestors' spacecraft. They do possess products of an advanced civilization. Now, near the orbit of Blue Star, there is a fleet that is between Level One Interdiate and Advanced Civilization level waiting for us."

"Do they know we're coming?"

"It's possible so fluctuations were caught when our probes previously sent to this planet were transmitting information."

"How ludicrous," Bates said with a strange expression. "With information from tens of thousands of years ago, they've made sothing and think they have the right to stand up to us?"

"It looks like they are planning to intercept us at the orbit of Blue Star!"

"Wait, what is the life grade of the beings on this planet?" Bates asked. "Thousands of stellar years ago, we also discovered a civilized planet whose technological level wasn't even at Level One Elentary, but their life grade was absurdly high. They decimated our entire fleet with just their flesh and blood. We can't make that mistake again."

"Rest assured, Captain. Tens of thousands of years ago, this civilization hadn't even evolved intelligence yet. The information sent back then stated that the life forms on this planet were very weak, their average strength level being rely two to three units, even among the weakest in Level One life forms."

"That's good to hear," Bates said. "But such weak slaves are not worth much at all. If we take them to trade, the cost of transporting them wouldn't even be covered. Compared to this life-bearing planet, their value can be considered negligible."

"So, what do you plan to do? Abandon these slaves?"

"Initiate the Blue Star extinction plan. Eliminate all intelligent life without damaging the ecological environnt," Bates said, looking at the fleet shown on the screen. "Let's start with this toy fleet."

"Amuliu, accelerate forward!"
