Chapter 76: Chapter 75 Ye Family Aristocrats
At that ti, she called Ye Fan, but his phone was turned off.
Mrs. Jiang said, "It’s alright, let’s go back for now. Perhaps we’ll be able to get through to him tonight."
"That’s the only option. Just you wait, when this old lady—I an, when *I* find him, I’m going to teach him a lesson!" Su Qingxue said awkwardly, nearly letting her true nature slip.
Mrs. Jiang, however, smiled with relief. "It’s clear he’s very afraid of you, Miss Su. From now on, I’ll have to trouble you to help
communicate with him!"
"Of course! Mrs. Jiang, you don’t need to be so polite with ," Su Qingxue replied hurriedly.
They certainly had a lot in common. The two of them got into Mrs. Jiang’s stretched luxury sedan and drove away.
Under the night sky, Ye Fan was drinking alone in a bar. To call it a bar was a bit of an understatent. The place was so luxurious that a casual al would cost at least 10,000 yuan. If one ordered expensive drinks, the bill could climb to tens or even hundreds of thousands. The prices here were incredibly high, and the service was just as impeccable.
However, Ye Fan truly needed a place to drown his sorrows. For him, this wasn’t about depravity, but simply about paying to get drunk. It was as simple as that.
Just as he was starting to feel the effects, a woman sat down across from him. Ye Fan looked up, expecting to see a plain woman or perhaps a call girl. But a closer look revealed she was nothing of the sort. He rubbed his eyes. The woman was incredibly beautiful. Although dressed in fashionable clothes, she looked like a classical beauty who had stepped out of a painting. With her long, flowing hair and her full, oval face, if she were dressed in traditional clothing, he would have undoubtedly called her an immortal beauty. The sight was simply breathtaking.
Perhaps due to the alcohol, the woman looked at Ye Fan with a srized expression. Without a doubt, to her, he was an enchanting man. Ye Fan was equally captivated. It was one of those rare monts where two people found each other imdiately pleasing to the eye.
"Beautiful lady, why so unhappy?" Ye Fan asked.
"Because I’m heartbroken," the woman replied.
"As it happens, I’m heartbroken too," Ye Fan said. "Let’s have a drink."
"Alright!"
The woman raised her glass and began drinking with him. The two of them, both initially filled with sorrow, seed to transform after a few drinks. They laughed and talked, as sweet as a couple in love. Perhaps this was the happiest they could be.
"What’s your na?" Ye Fan asked. This was important, as he didn’t know what to call her.
The woman said, "A na isn’t important. I don’t know your na, and you don’t know mine."
Isn’t this more my style?
"Alright," he said. "I think so too!"
The two drank until they were both hazy and drunk. The woman, in particular, was stumbling, barely able to walk. She had no idea how much she’d had, but when Ye Fan supported her, he slled a delightful, refreshing fragrance.
Ye Fan was dizzy himself. He didn’t know her na or where she lived, so he could only take her to a nearby hotel.
After getting a room, Ye Fan placed her on the bed, covered her with a blanket, and lay down beside her. Unexpectedly, however, the woman was quite bold. Despite her ethereal beauty, she was incredibly proactive. Before Ye Fan even realized what was happening, she pounced, landing on top of him and kissing him passionately.
Faced with such a sudden, fervent kiss, Ye Fan found no reason to refuse. He wrapped his arms around her, returning the kiss with equal intensity.
Swept away by the passion of the mont, Ye Fan grew bolder. The woman was cooperative; both were the type to seek indulgence after drinking. Soon, their clothes began to fall away, piece by piece.
Ye Fan pressed on, breaching her final line of defense. The woman cried out in pain. He hadn’t expected that she wasn’t the type to indulge frequently. She had still been a virgin.
For so reason, he felt that his sin was quite significant.
After about an hour of fierce passion, the woman lay exhausted in his arms. By then, they had both sobered up considerably. The strenuous activity had burned off much of the alcohol, which evaporated with their sweat.
"What is your na, really?" Ye Fan asked.
"You don’t need to know my na, because it would only bring you a fatal disaster. Just know that tonight, I am your woman. After tonight, we will be strangers to each other."
Her words were harsh, but Ye Fan knew she must have her reasons. Just as he was about to ask another question, she leaned in and kissed him again. Needless to say, the battle that had just ended reignited.
The next day, as the first rays of morning sunlight stread into the room, Ye Fan struggled to open his eyes, only to find that the woman from last night was gone. If not for the bloodstain on the sheet, he would have thought it had all been a wet dream. But this was no ordinary dream.
He felt a profound sense of loss. He didn’t know her na or her background. The whole encounter felt like a beautiful, fleeting rendezvous, utterly intoxicating.
As Ye Fan prepared to leave, he found a pendant on the bed. Engraved on it was a single character: Xue. He didn’t know what the pendant represented, but he pocketed it, deciding he would have to deal with it later. At that mont, his eyes felt heavy. Weary, he tried to get up but imdiately sank back into a deep sleep.
Mrs. Jiang was from the Shangjing Ye Family, a clan with imnse influence in Shangjing and one of the city’s eight great noble families. Their power was not only substantial on the surface but also extended into the underworld, where they commanded significant respect.
Su Qingxue and Mrs. Jiang had returned the previous night. Now, as Mrs. Jiang was about to drive Su Qingxue back to her hotel, a man spotted them.
This man bore a slight resemblance to Ye Fan but was inferior in both looks and temperant. His air, in particular, was that of a frivolous, rich heir, whereas Ye Fan exuded the aura of a conquering King. The two were in completely different leagues.
Upon seeing Su Qingxue, he walked over and said, "Well, hello beautiful. You’re a new face. I don’t believe we’ve t."
"I am a guest of Mrs. Jiang. And you are?" Su Qingxue asked, puzzled.
Although this man was likely a mber of the Ye Family, she had no desire to waste words on him. As they say, people on different paths have nothing to discuss.
The man declared, "My na is Ye Langfeng, heir to the Ye Family. Why don’t we exchange numbers and get to know each other?"
"I’m sorry, I don’t make a habit of giving out my number," Su Qingxue stated flatly.
Ye Langfeng’s expression instantly turned cold. Few people dared to refuse him, and he was shocked to be rejected so bluntly by a woman.
Just then, Mrs. Jiang arrived, which made him check his behavior. She said to him, "Langfeng, this is my business friend, Miss Su."
"I know. We were just having a lovely chat," Ye Langfeng said with a smirk.
Though furious, Su Qingxue held her tongue. She got into the car with Mrs. Jiang and left.
Ye Langfeng stood his ground, muttering, "I don’t care who you are. You’re the woman I’ve chosen. You think you can escape? Hahaha!"
He laughed with smug confidence, then got into his car and began to follow them. He needed to find out where Su Qingxue was staying so he could make his move. In Shangjing, the Ye Family’s status was so high that if he decided to act, it would be remarkably easy.
