Chapter 414: Chapter 413: Forging a Legend

At that mont, as the last mber of the Mo Sect Alliance Army was assassinated by Black Fog, Nangong imdiately ordered, "Go rescue the boss! Sothing might have happened to him!"

"Okay," Black Fog agreed, his voice laced with panic. He was right. With Ye Fan’s current strength, a fight against a single Ancestor Mo should have been over by now. Since the battle was still raging, it ant sothing had definitely gone wrong.

They raced to the location where Ye Fan had fought the Mo Sect’s Five Poison and instantly drew a sharp breath. There hadn’t been just one Ancestor Mo! They found three corpses there. Without a mont’s delay, they followed the trail of destruction.

When they arrived at the Mo Sect Forbidden Land and saw the giant venomous spider that Ye Fan had cleaved in two, their heads spun. They couldn’t believe a spider that massive even existed. There were also gigantic boulders weighing tens of tons. All the evidence pointed to an earth-shattering and soul-stirring battle having just taken place here, a truly terrifying scene.

"The boss is here!"

"Boss!"

The group imdiately rushed over. They quickly checked on Ye Fan, only to find him in a deep coma.

"Quick, get the boss to safety for treatnt!"

Black Fog and Gongsun Chou imdiately carried Ye Fan away, while the others remained to clean up the battlefield.

To Polar Bear and Sen Ba, such combat power seed utterly beyond human capability. It could only be described as divine or demonic. It was a terrifying strength, enough to crush anything in its path. They recalled their own battle with Ye Fan not long ago. Although he had overwheld them then, his power had not been nearly this imnse. In a short period, they themselves had evolved to a level rivaling Black Fog, but Ye Fan’s growth rate was horrifyingly fast.

From their perspective, the concept of cultivation bottlenecks was a complete joke to him. He had single-handedly fought the Five Ancestors of Mo, slain them all, and even killed the Mo Sect’s colossal venomous spider!

The Mo Sect was annihilated. The sect whose poison arts were unparalleled, the sect that even the Witch Clan treated with deference, had been utterly wiped out.

When this news broke, it shook the world, especially Divine Land. The Mo Sect was a household na there, a force of legend whose status was deeply ingrained in the minds of the people. Now, their legend had been brought to an end. And no one could have imagined that the one to end it was the King of Heaven, a man whose own legend was just as formidable.

The other major powers of Divine Land were terrified. It wasn’t just the Mo Sect that had been destroyed; more than ten other forces, large and small, had been eliminated along with them. These factions were all legendary overlords in their own right, reigning supre in their territories, unchallenged by any. But now, they were all history, destined to fade away with the passage of ti. This was what made the King of Heaven a legend—his legend was built on ending the legends of others.

The fall of the Mo Sect stunned the globe. Not a single soul from the sect was left alive. The world’s major underworld forces had now witnessed the true terror of the King of Heaven. He had annihilated a major sect like the Mo Sect and wiped out more than ten other forces in one fell swoop. The King of Heaven’s power far exceeded their imagination. He was now hailed as the number one master in all of Divine Land. Or perhaps, it was simpler to say: he was a legend.

Of course, Ye Fan was oblivious to all of this. If he had known, he would have surely offered a wry smile. The path of martial arts has no limits. There are countless hidden top-tier masters in this world. I would never dare to call myself number one!

While Ye Fan lay in a coma, discussions about him dominated the underworld headlines. Everyone had thought the legendary figure was on the verge of retirent. Instead, he had once again forged a new Chapter in his own legend.

When Ye Fan finally awoke, he had no idea how much ti had passed. He only knew that he had slept for a very long ti, narrowly escaping an eternal slumber. In his dreams, he had battled his injuries, eventually erging victorious to regain consciousness. He found himself lying on a comfortable bed in a room that was otherwise empty.

"Damn, where am I?" Ye Fan wondered aloud, puzzled. He had no mory of ever being in this place. "Is anyone there? Anybody?" he called out a few tis, but there was no response.

His mouth was parched, but he spotted a cup of water not far away. He tried to get up imdiately.

"Ouch!"

Ye Fan grimaced, a wave of pain washing over him. Under the tornt of his injuries, he felt such overwhelming agony that he dared not move an inch.

No way. I’m not that weak.

He forced himself to sit up, only to roll off the bed and land painfully on the floor. Now, he truly couldn’t get back up. A feeling of utter helplessness plunged him into despair.

Just then, the door opened. Ye Fan looked up and saw Chen Zihan.

"It’s you?" he said, surprised. He had assud Su Qingxue or Qin Yanran would be the one caring for him, not this woman.

Chen Zihan laughed, because Ye Fan’s current position was just too undignified. What else could he do? He was crumbling inside.

"Help

up, quick," he said.

"Oh," Chen Zihan replied, moving to help him. But then Ye Fan pursed his lips.

"Actually, never mind. Just give

so water first. I’m so thirsty."

Chen Zihan imdiately handed him the glass. Ye Fan greedily drank the entire cup, but it still wasn’t enough. Then, he asked, "Where is this place?"

"This is the villa Sister Qin Yanran bought in Jiangning," Chen Zihan explained.

"Shouldn’t I be at Heavenly King Hall?" Ye Fan asked. As far as he knew, he should be there. All he rembered was fighting the Five Ancestors of Mo, and after he sliced that giant spider in two, he couldn’t rember anything else.

"Well, after you annihilated the Mo Sect, Sister Qingxue was worried that other factions might try to assassinate you at Heavenly King Hall," Chen Zihan said. "So, she moved you here. We’ve been taking turns looking after you. You’ve been asleep for a month. And she was right; people did go to Heavenly King Hall trying to kill you."

Her explanation made him understand Su Qingxue’s intentions completely. Heavenly King Hall seed safe, but too many people in this world wanted him dead and would use any ans necessary. If he had stayed there, it would have been impossible to defend against every potential threat, no matter the precautions. By moving him here, no one would ever suspect his location. It had to be said, Su Qingxue’s sharp intuition and caring nature were truly a lifesaver at crucial monts.

Chen Zihan helped him back onto the bed. As she did, Ye Fan caught a familiar scent. He looked at her and asked, "I want to ask you sothing."

"What is it?"

"It’s about that night," Ye Fan said, deciding there was no point in being shy. He wasn’t the type to beat around the bush. "At Luo Ling’s villa... the woman I slept with... was that you?"
