Chapter 391: Chapter 390: The Fierce Montum
Hathaway realized this crisis was anything but ordinary. "Do you know how many powerful experts the Werewolf Clan has dispatched this ti?" she asked.
Gale Blood Ancestor replied, "This ti, they sent out four Werewolf Leaders. One was already killed by that boy from the Divine Land, so they still have three great Werewolf Leaders left!"
"Three great Werewolf Leaders!"
Heather’s expression turned grave. The combat power of the Werewolf Leaders was formidable; a single one could contend with two Blood Ancestors, and they only had four Blood Ancestors in total. This is a very serious situation.
"And their Wolf King!" Gale Blood Ancestor added.
The ergence of the Wolf King was sothing Heather had anticipated. He possessed unfathomable strength and had battled her during the Middle Ages. In that battle, she had been victorious. However, many years had passed, and the Wolf King had surely regained his strength by now. This will undoubtedly be a terrible war.
"I will deal with the Wolf King," Heather declared. "The remaining Werewolf Leaders and the Wolf-man Captains are your responsibility. You must hold them off."
This was a heavy burden to place on them, as the werewolves’ combat prowess was imnse. The Blood Ancestors promptly nodded.
"And !" Ye Fan announced, stepping out from the castle.
In truth, this war shouldn’t involve . But for Heather’s sake, I’m prepared to side with the Vampire Clan. The Blood Ancestors looked at Ye Fan. Although he was an Eastern Martial Artist, they knew his strength—he had slain a Werewolf Leader by himself. They respected such power. Coupled with the ambiguous relationship between Ye Fan and Heather, they seed to have already considered him one of their own.
Of course, I certainly don’t consider them my people.
Joy shone in Heather’s eyes, but she still said to Ye Fan, "This war has nothing to do with you!"
"It doesn’t matter. Since I’m here, your affairs are my affairs!"
At his words, Heather’s eyes filled with relief and a deep sense of emotion. It was the feeling of being with one of her own, a feeling she had only ever found with Ye Fan.
Just then, Ye Fan said, "I will take on two Werewolf Leaders. You can deal with the rest!"
The audacity of his declaration was stunning. Each Werewolf Leader could take on two Blood Ancestors, yet he claid he would fight two of them alone. Wasn’t he being overconfident?
But at this mont, none of the Vampire Clan’s Blood Ancestors ridiculed Ye Fan. The pressure on them was already imnse, and it wasn’t simply a matter of fighting the werewolves to the death, regardless of the losses the Vampire Clan might suffer. They knew they had an even more terrifying enemy: the European Church Court. They were imnsely powerful—more brutal and horrifying than the werewolves. Even at the zenith of its power, the Vampire Clan had been suppressed by them. Such was the terror of the European Church Court.
"Can you really handle two?" Heather asked Ye Fan, her voice laced with doubt and concern.
Even Gale Blood Ancestor was impressed by Ye Fan’s boldness. If it were him, he would never have the courage to take on two at once; managing one-on-one would be impressive enough.
"I can," Ye Fan replied. "Actually, werewolves aren’t as flawless as you imagine. Their greatest strength is their physical toughness."
"But don’t forget, they also have a weakness!"
"A weakness?"
The others looked at him intently. This information was crucial. The Vampire Clan had tried countless tis to find the werewolves’ weakness, but the price for their attempts had always been steep.
Ye Fan continued, "Yes. The weakness is simple: their eyes! If you blind them, they will fall into a frenzy, even with their keen sense of sll."
"Once they fall into a frenzy, they beco reckless. While they are terrifying in this state and their strength even increases, their madness creates openings. Seize the right mont, and you can land a fatal blow!"
"Are you certain?" Gale Blood Ancestor asked.
"I’m certain," Ye Fan replied with confidence.
His certainty reassured them. They had overlooked this issue, always assuming the werewolves’ sense of sll was more fearso than their vision. For this reason, they had never thought to blind them. Now that Ye Fan had confird it, they realized that werewolves weren’t so perfect after all.
Heather imdiately commanded, "Do as he says! This ti, I am determined to eradicate this werewolf nace!"
"Yes!"
The Blood Ancestors departed to make arrangents. Although the Vampire Clan’s combat power was not as strong as the werewolves’, they did have skilled archers.
Then, Heather turned to Ye Fan, her voice filled with gratitude. "Thank you."
"There’s no need for such gratitude between us," Ye Fan said with a smile.
Heather gave a sweet smile in return. This is the first ti I’ve ever seen her smile, he thought. The Vampire Queen’s smile is absolutely breathtaking!
"Your injuries haven’t healed yet?" Ye Fan then asked her.
"No, I’ve returned to my peak," Heather said imdiately.
Ye Fan knew she was lying. By all appearances, she had recovered much of her strength, but returning to her peak was simply impossible at the mont. He then took out the Bengyu. "This will definitely be useful to you."
It was his small piece of the Bengyu.
Heather’s eyes lit with anticipation. This was a top-grade restorative, after all. She never expected Ye Fan would give it to her, especially since the Vampire Clan had lost the Evil Wing Prince while fighting for this very thing.
"Thank you." This ti, Heather didn’t refuse. She fused the Bengyu into her body, and her complexion improved significantly.
"After the Vampire Clan gets through this ordeal," Heather said suddenly, "I have an announcent to make."
"What is it?" Ye Fan asked.
He was quite curious, though he figured whatever it was, it was the Vampire Clan’s business. There’s no need to tell .
Heather said coyly, "I can’t tell you now."
Ye Fan was left speechless. Does she have to be so mysterious?
He gazed out into the distance. The ancient forest seed quiet, but the most brutal slaughter had already begun, rely concealed beneath the tranquil surface. These woods were a natural killing field. Gleaming in the sun, the Yuanhong Sword shone with a dazzling light. Ye Fan knew the sword was humming with anticipation, eager for the slaughter that was about to begin.
I don’t know what the outco of this battle will be, or if helping the Vampire Clan is the right choice. But I have no other options. The only way forward is to fight. Final victory can only be achieved when my blade severs the enemy’s head.
All the vampires were summoned, setting up ambushes in the forest. As the werewolves approached, fear was evident in the eyes of many of the Vampire Clan’s Martial Artists.
Ye Fan, however, stood calmly in the wind. The sounds of impending slaughter already seed to echo in his ears. Tomorrow’s battle will be incredibly brutal.
