Chapter 368: Chapter 367: Woman Disguised as a Man

Soon, with Ye Fan’s support, ng Xuanyi handled all the affairs of the Yueshan Sect. However, just as things settled down, Ye Fan announced he was leaving.

"Benefactor, are you really leaving?" ng Xuanyi asked, reluctant to see him go.

"It’s about ti," Ye Fan replied. "I’ve been away long enough. I hope you continue to grow from here."

"Thank you, Benefactor!" ng Xuanyi said, his voice thick with gratitude. If it weren’t for Ye Fan, he would never have had the chance to contend for the position of Sect Master; he might have even been killed.

Ye Fan nodded, accepting his thanks, and turned to depart.

"Benefactor, wait!" ng Xuanyi called out suddenly.

"Is there sothing else?" Ye Fan asked.

"This is a Qiankun Diagram my father obtained many years ago," ng Xuanyi explained. "He studied it for years but never managed to unlock its secrets. Today, I wish to give it to you, Benefactor!"

ng Xuanyi was surprisingly generous, offering such a priceless item to Ye Fan.

But Ye Fan shook his head. "Since it was sothing your father left for you, you should hold onto it."

"No," ng Xuanyi insisted. "Although we’ve learned nothing from this Qiankun Diagram, it’s the kind of treasure that attracts unwanted attention. Given the Yueshan Sect’s current strength, keeping it here will only bring us disaster. Please, Benefactor, don’t refuse!"

Persuaded by his reasoning, Ye Fan relented. "Alright, in that case, it would be rude to refuse. If you ever want it back in the future, I will return it to you."

"How can one ask for sothing back that has already been given away? Benefactor, may I ask for your na?" ng Xuanyi asked.

Ye Fan chuckled. "Haha, I have a title in the International Dark World—the King of Heaven! Kid, may fate let us et again. I’ve gotta head ho to my wife. Damn, I’ve been holding back for way too long!"

ng Xuanyi froze in shock. He never expected this young man, who was even younger than himself, to be the King of Heaven—the very sa one whose na made the entire world tremble in fear. The fact that he was the King of Heaven wasn’t what shocked him most; after all, he was clearly a peerless genius. What truly stunned him was the King of Heaven’s speed of growth; it was so fast it was beyond imagination.

By the ti he ca back to his senses, Ye Fan was long gone.

He knew that he could never hope to match the King of Heaven’s achievents in his lifeti, but he had committed the na to mory. He would never forget this debt of gratitude to the man who not only saved his life but also changed its entire course.

Of course, Ye Fan was oblivious to ng Xuanyi’s thoughts. To him, this was just a fleeting encounter, one he would soon forget. He walked through the darkness, in a region frequented by hidden sects, far from the clamor of the city. He could only travel on foot. When a man’s luck is out, even drinking cold water can get stuck between his teeth.

What more was there to say? Just then, a torrential downpour began. Though the rain itself didn’t bother him, he knew he had to stop and take shelter. As it happened, there was a dilapidated temple up ahead.

Upon entering, he found that nearly everything inside was rotting away. I feel like I’ve stepped back into a primitive society. But there was nothing to be done about it. As the saying goes, "The heavens will rain, and a mother will marry"—so things are simply out of one’s control.

He kindled a fire and sat beside it as the heavy rain continued to pour. Feeling bored, he took out the Qiankun Diagram. The material alone was clearly extraordinary. The diagram’s layout was so vast that it made even Ye Fan dizzy, but he couldn’t make any sense of it. Although he couldn’t decipher its principles, he was certain it was an ultimate treasure. In the firelight, he could see intricate divinatory lines and astrological patterns. The ancient and obscure diagram undoubtedly held a wealth of information.

Ye Fan simply couldn’t comprehend it. The reason wasn’t that he was too dimwitted, but that his own perspective was too limited. Perhaps when he ascended to a higher realm, he would have the vision required to understand the information contained within the Qiankun Diagram. After his fruitless research, he put it away.

Just as he was preparing to rest before continuing his journey, a figure walked in from outside, completely drenched.

"Damn it all! Why did it have to start pouring now? My luck is the absolute worst! Oh well, might as well rest here," the newcor cursed.

That guy’s tone is so effeminate... it sounds exactly like a woman’s voice! Ye Fan chuckled to himself.

Just then, the person knocked on the doorfra and called out, "Is anyone there?"

"If no one’s here, then what am I, a ghost?" Ye Fan replied wryly.

"Hmph! How crude!" The "man" stepped inside, dressed in fine silks. Ye Fan was certain this person was no commoner. After all, this area was filled with hidden sects. This was probably so effeminate young master from a reclusive sect or family. The sound of their voice, in particular, was enough to give anyone goosebumps. The person had a mustache above their lip, and with their fair skin, looked quite handso.

He then asked Ye Fan, "You don’t mind if this young master sits here for a mont, do you?"

"Suit yourself," Ye Fan said with a shrug.

"Humph!" The newcor imdiately sat down. A fragrant scent wafted over to Ye Fan. Just as he was bracing himself for an encounter with so kind of pervert, he discovered the "man’s" secret.

What well-developed pecs!

He stared at the "man" with curiosity, now almost certain that this was no man at all, but a woman in disguise.

Seemingly sensing his gaze, she glared fiercely at him and snapped, "Keep looking, and believe , this young lady—err, this young master will gouge your eyes out!"

So, she’s a feisty little lady after all! Ye Fan smiled helplessly.

"Alright, alright. Do as you please," he said.

The woman pulled a pastry from her bag and began eating it in front of Ye Fan, as if showing off. In response, Ye Fan took a stalk of Frost Grass from his pocket. The entire temple instantly filled with dense Spiritual Energy. He then took a large bite. When it ca to showing off, very few people could hold a candle to him.

Of course, the cross-dressing woman knew the spiritual material in Ye Fan’s hands was of imasurable value.

"What a waste of good resources on a pig!" she cursed angrily.

Ye Fan shot the cross-dressing woman a look, but as a man of magnanimity, he didn’t bother to argue. Besides, on a lonely night like this, having so company made things more interesting.

However, at that very mont, Ye Fan sensed several auras rapidly approaching. "Soone’s coming," he stated.

"What?" The woman seed a little nervous.

"And they’re only five hundred ters away," Ye Fan continued.

She imdiately peered outside but saw no one through the heavy curtain of rain. "Making a mountain out of a molehill!" she said disdainfully.

Yet, the words had barely left her lips when six or seven people appeared outside. These individuals were not weak; all of them had reached the Innate realm. A lineup like this could even hold its own against an ordinary King-level expert.

They imdiately surrounded the temple.

The middle-aged man in the lead addressed the woman in disguise. "Miss, you left without the master’s permission. He is furious. Please return with us."

"No! Why should I go back?" she retorted, implicitly confirming her identity.

"Miss, please stop this nonsense and co back with us," the leader said, his tone firming. "Otherwise, we will have to escort you back by force."

"In your dreams! If you want

to go back, you’ll have to defeat my husband first!" the feisty woman declared, suddenly throwing her arms around Ye Fan.

I can’t believe she’s using

as a human shield! Ye Fan realized.
