The next morning, Ye Fan slowly woke up. He felt a chill in the air, a testant to his body’s extre weakness. Looking down, he found Su Qingxue and the Ice Phoenix Saintess snuggled in his embrace. They were sleeping so soundly that he didn’t have the heart to disturb them. Left with no choice, he continued to lie there. "Ye Fan!" the two won exclaid with concern. "Are you okay?"
Ye Fan was speechless. Do I look like I’m okay?
"It’s nothing serious," he said. "My injuries are just too severe to travel. I need to rest and recuperate."

The Ice Phoenix Saintess added, "The surroundings are shrouded in heavy mist. With our current injuries, we definitely need to recuperate instead of rushing on our way."
"Alright," Su Qingxue imdiately nodded.
Just then, however, rain began to pour from the sky. They had no choice but to take shelter underneath a massive, nearby boulder that had tumbled down from the mountain. The space was not cramped at all; the three of them occupied only a third of it. As the downpour intensified, they were forced to make camp there.
Ye Fan was shivering from the cold, so Su Qingxue and the Ice Phoenix Saintess pressed close, sharing their warmth with him. Yet even with two stunning beauties by his side, Ye Fan couldn’t feel happy. Although the Demonization hadn’t aggravated his condition, he was still severely wounded, and his body’s resistance had dropped significantly.
To help boost his resistance and speed up his recovery, Su Qingxue declared, "I’ll go look for so food nearby."
"I’ll co with you!" the Ice Phoenix Saintess offered.

Ye Fan was frustrated. No matter how you slice it, I’m the one losing out here! A simple ’sorry’ isn’t going to fix this. That’s letting her off way too easy! But for now, there was truly nothing he could do about her.
"It’s fine," he said, feeling deeply aggrieved. "I’m used to it."

He felt helpless. Why are won so irrational?

"Why?" Su Qingxue asked, equally confused.
The Ice Phoenix Saintess explained, "Because this is the Wild Fruit!"
"Oh, crap!"
Upon hearing the na, Ye Fan, being the old hand that he was, instantly realized the gravity of the situation. At the sa ti, a frightened Su Qingxue quickly threw her Wild Fruit as far away as she could.
