"Hmph! It’s not that. It’s because I don’t want to rush things with her. Feelings need to be cultivated slowly!" Ye Fan said irritably. Was she questioning his ability with won? As a bona fide lady-killer, Ye Fan hated her doubt.
Alice said disdainfully, "Looks like you can look, but you can’t touch!"
"You little witch! Just watch how Laozi teaches you a lesson!"

"Stop joking," Ye Fan said, flustered. "I’m your big brother!"
"Hmph! But I’ve never once thought of you as my brother!" Alice retorted.
Ye Fan struggled to get up, but Alice leaned in and kissed him. It took a Herculean effort for him to finally break free.
Hiding in the shadows, the Yan Clan Patriarch let out a sigh of relief. A mont ago, he had genuinely wanted to rush out and kill Ye Fan.
This completely overturned his perception. It wasn’t Ye Fan making a move; it was Alice! Oh, Holy Daughter, Holy Daughter... you are the purest treasure of our clan! You must be more reserved! Of course, he didn’t think it was Alice’s fault. In his mind, this was all Ye Fan’s doing.
