Chapter 174: Chapter 173: Strong Suppression

Ye Fan said, "I don’t mind telling you, since you’re about to die anyway. Rember my na. I am the King of Heaven."

"King of Heaven!"

His face turned deathly pale. He hadn’t expected Ye Fan’s background to be so formidable. It seed the rumors were true. It wasn’t just him; the entire Green Emperor Sect was unqualified to make Ye Fan surrender. The might of the King of Heaven was truly not to be trifled with.

He said to Ye Fan, "So you are the King of Heaven. No wonder you defeated

in a single move! But if you interfere in the affairs of the Green Emperor Sect, you will surely die!"

"The Green Emperor Sect, is it? After I kill you, I’ll pay them a personal visit. I want to see if they’re really as terrifying as the legends say!"

"Die!" Ye Fan roared, lunging forward with his ultimate speed.

"So fast!"

The words had barely left his lips before Ye Fan was holding his severed head. His eyes were wide open, staring in disbelief.

Just as Ye Fan turned, he saw Tang Wanchou had arrived. It was the first ti she had seen him in action, but she hadn’t been able to clearly perceive his strength or speed. All she saw was that in the blink of an eye, Ye Fan had claid his opponent’s head.

"Aunt," Ye Fan acknowledged, tossing the head to the ground.

Tang Wanchou said, "Ye Fan, your strength is terrifying. It’s a level even I could never hope to reach."

"You flatter . I just want to know who this man was," Ye Fan said.

Tang Wanchou explained, "This man was the Vajra Protector, one of the eight great protectors! He was once the Vajra Fist King in the black market. After joining the Green Emperor Sect, his hardened physique and imnse strength allowed him to quickly beco one of the sect’s protectors. He was also one of Mo Jue’s supporters. This man always acted with impunity. His brutal nature struck terror into people’s hearts!"

Ye Fan scoffed, "So that was the strength of the Vajra Fist King? It wasn’t very impressive if he couldn’t even block a single move from . It seems his reputation was undeserved."

Tang Wanchou was disheartened. To the King of Heaven, the Vajra Fist King was indeed no threat—an existence a true King could kill at will. But to her, he was a formidable enemy.

Tang Wanchou could only say, "That’s because your strength is monstrously strong, Ye Fan. What are your plans now?"

Ye Fan replied, "I wasn’t even looking for the Green Emperor Sect, but they ca to provoke

first. It seems I have no choice but to pay them a visit."

He was utterly domineering. Even when facing the mighty Green Emperor Sect, he showed no fear, ready to act as he pleased.

"Good! Ye Fan, the Green Emperor Sect is having a gathering soon. I’ll go with you then!" Tang Wanchou told him.

Ye Fan nodded. Though he was alone and his forces here appeared thin, he was not afraid. The five Elders, the two Sect Leaders, or even the remaining seven Protectors—it made no difference. Nobody could do anything to him, the King of Heaven.

"Second Master, the Vajra Fist King is dead."

"What?"

Mo Jue, who had been smugly enjoying himself while awaiting good news, shot to his feet. He never anticipated the Vajra Fist King would die. The death of soone as domineering as the Vajra Fist King was sothing he found difficult to accept.

He asked gravely, "Is the information accurate?"

"It is accurate. We found his corpse in the forest, head separated from the body, along with several of his subordinates. We carefully inspected their wounds. All of them were killed by a single, lethal strike, including the Vajra Fist King!" his butler reported.

Mo Jue collapsed into his chair, his heart pounding relentlessly. A single, lethal strike. As a Martial Artist, he knew exactly how terrifying the Vajra Fist King was. If even the Vajra Fist King could be slain with one blow, it was horrifying to imagine how formidable Ye Fan must be.

"This is unacceptable," he said. "I must go to the Green Emperor Sect at once!"

"Yes, Second Master! I’ll go prepare at once!"

Just as his butler opened the door, he saw Ye Fan, Mo Chou, and a crowd of Mo Family mbers and bodyguards surrounding the entrance.

"Brother, what is the aning of this?" Mo Jue asked. Though panicking internally, he maintained a calm expression, having honed his ntality to a powerful degree.

Mo Chou replied, "Brother, you know full well what this is about. You have brought too much harm upon our Mo Family. Today, I am placing you under confinent!"

"Confine ? Brother, I’m afraid you’ll have a hard ti explaining that to the Green Emperor Sect!" Mo Jue brandished the Green Emperor Sect as his shield. After all, they were his greatest backing and an existence that even Mo Chou feared. He firmly believed that as long as the Green Emperor Sect supported him, Mo Chou wouldn’t dare to touch him.

"Oh, the fearso Green Emperor Sect. Is that all you can hide behind? n! Seize this traitor! If he dares to resist, kill him without rcy!" Mo Chou commanded.

"You dare!" Mo Jue shot back coldly.

At that mont, however, Ye Fan stepped forward. "Will you surrender, or shall I help you?" he asked, echoing the words of the Green Emperor Sect’s Vajra Fist King.

When he saw Ye Fan, Mo Jue’s composure finally broke. This was, after all, a formidable existence—the man who had killed the Vajra Fist King. With that realization, what little confidence he had left began to evaporate.

"Second Master, run!" his butler shouted, charging at Ye Fan and clinging to him tightly to create an opening.

Seizing the opportunity, Mo Jue turned and fled into the chaos.

"Overestimating yourself!" Ye Fan roared. His body shuddered once, and the sheer force of the tremor tore the butler in two. He then shot off in pursuit of Mo Jue.

The panicked Mo Jue had barely fled five hundred ters before Ye Fan appeared, blocking his path. Instantly, his expression grew grave. He had never expected the entire Mo Family to stand with Mo Chou.

Ye Fan stood before Mo Jue, his deanor seemingly calm but brimming with murderous intent.

Mo Jue clenched his fists. "Those who block my path will die!"

"You won’t get the chance," Ye Fan stated calmly.

Mo Jue charged, his killing intent surging. Just as he reached Ye Fan, Ye Fan moved.

He threw a single, light punch.

"AH!"

With a scream of pain, Mo Jue was sent flying backward, crashing hard onto the floor. He clutched his Dantian, each gasping breath an agony. The pain spread throughout his entire body.

"You crippled my martial arts!" he accused Ye Fan furiously.

Ye Fan simply asked, "Is there any reason I couldn’t?"

"You’re... so ruthless!" he stamred. It had not been easy to cultivate his Inner Strength to its peak. He had hoped to break through to a higher Martial Arts Realm, but now, that chance was gone forever.

"I swear, one day, I will make you kneel before

and beg for rcy!" he snarled at Ye Fan, his voice thick with unresigned rage.

Ye Fan retorted mockingly, "That day will never co. But if it did, it would only be to witness your utter despair!"

"Take him away!" Mo Chou imdiately ordered his n forward.

Mo Jue never imagined he would end up in such a pitiable state. As he was being dragged away, he yelled at Mo Chou, "You’re not qualified to fight ! If you hadn’t found this kid, you would have spent your entire life beneath my heel!"

"Hahaha, my dear brother! What goes around cos around. Now it’s your turn," Mo Chou laughed. "In this lifeti, you will never have the chance to keep

under your foot again."

"Hmph!"

Limping, Mo Jue was led away. This upheaval was a disaster not just for him but for his entire faction. Everyone in the Mo Family knew the winds of change had co. Of course, the family was relatively united in this. Mo Jue was an outsider, and they were naturally enraged by his attempt to seize their family’s foundation. Mo Chou had simply not made his stance clear before. Now that he had, they all stood with him.
