Chapter 67: Chapter 58: Charming Widow and the Blind Man (Part 2)

The Charming Widow’s face changed, and with a fluctuation of her chest, she slapped the pearl into the river. After a few breaths, a booming sound erupted from the calm river surface, and a massive fla shot up to the sky before gradually falling back and extinguishing.

"It seems you’ve destroyed soone’s incredible treasure."

The Little Artifact Spirit warned in his mind.

Damn it, I know.

Han Yu could already feel the ferocious gaze beneath the Charming Widow’s twisted and sinister face, glaring at him.

"You destroyed my Fire-Resistant Pearl, you deserve to die."

This was a precious treasure she had obtained after spending five years accompanying an old man with her body.

Now, with it gone like this, one can only imagine how complicated her feelings were at this mont.

"I suggest you run! She probably won’t let you cry for your parents."

The Little Artifact Spirit’s tone was serious.

"Ripples in the Sea of Emotions!"

The Charming Widow, not caring about her naked body, spread her hands apart. Waves of her chest and hips moved, and her True Essence quickly condensed, with wisps of red mist continuously erging.

But this ti the red mist seed quite different. When the mist touched the wooden pole, it visibly corroded it completely, and wisps of white smoke rose from the deck.

Can’t touch it!

Han Yu’s heart was extrely alert.

"Go!"

With an imperial decree, the Red Dance seed to have consciousness and continuously surrounded Han Yu.

"Heaven and Earth Destruction!"

Han Yu shouted just like her, exuding an imnsely powerful aura. Imdiately, a Fire Lotus burst from beneath his feet and exploded rapidly. The Charming Widow beca secretly vigilant but heard a loud crash as the red mist wrapped around the flas, and after a bout of entanglent, suppressed it.

However, when the fla vanished, Han Yu’s figure was nowhere to be seen.

"Damn it, don’t think you can escape."

She was about to fly when the voice of the Poisonous Bat ca from afar.

"The task is more important, don’t chase."

After saying that, he clasped his hands together forcefully, conjuring a huge bat.

"Go!"

Under his command, the massive bat swept towards Mo Xingzhi. The already overwheld Iron Shield exploded instantly under the bat’s impact, scattering pieces of iron in all directions. The bat surged through the shards and headed straight for Mo Xingzhi’s chest.

Pfft!

Under the heavy blow, Mo Xingzhi’s body was sent flying, blood splattered in midair before he passed out and fell into the river.

"Hurry and control the ship; with these Spirit Stones, any more loss is inconsequential!"

Underwater, as soon as Han Yu entered, he quickly used a Divine Technique to wrap himself and continued sinking.

"Is my life cursed? I’m always running for my life."

Han Yu sighed helplessly, paddling his arms and legs as he dog-paddled deeper.

The Little Artifact Spirit chuckled, "Why don’t you think about the kind of people you always provoke? Even those with Divine Gaze Realm cultivation let you escape; who’s worse off, you or them?"

As they spoke, a sound of soone entering the water echoed. Han Yu looked up to see Mo Xingzhi, eyes closed, his body rapidly sinking to the bottom.

"After all, he’s from my cousin’s family."

With a sigh, Han Yu swam towards him...

The large cargo ship, billowing with smoke, began to accelerate upstream. Inside the cabin, the Charming Widow steered the ship naked, while the blindfolded Poisonous Bat stood guard.

"That damn kid, if I see him again, I’ll skin him alive."

The Charming Widow spoke resentfully, but the Poisonous Bat seed not to hear, standing silently.

"Aren’t you going to say anything?"

The Charming Widow glared at him dissatisfied, but since the Poisonous Bat couldn’t see, he naturally didn’t respond.

"You’re such a dull person. Do you know there’s an unclothed woman standing next to you, and not just any woman—one among won."

The Charming Widow said angrily.

The Poisonous Bat finally nodded. His old, calm face showed no expression, "I know now."

The Charming Widow suddenly reached for his crotch, but the Poisonous Bat dodged, coldly warning, "I’m only collaborating with you temporarily; you’d better not touch ."

"Boring!"

After being avoided by the Poisonous Bat, a hint of disdain flashed across the Charming Widow’s face. With a cold snort, she continued to steer the ship without saying another word...

When Mo Xingzhi opened his eyes, he was already floating on the water’s surface. Around him were twenty or so severely injured cultivators, and the others were nowhere to be seen.

"Glad you’re awake."

Han Yu’s voice arose nearby; he had been waiting for half an hour, not wishing to leave before Mo Xingzhi awoke.

"Thanks for saving , young brother."

Mo Xingzhi appeared sowhat pale. He struggled to lift a hand and cupped his fists in a bow, then looked at the empty river with an extrely unpleasant expression.

"Those two robbers truly deserve to die."

The ship had been taken away, along with the Spirit Stones aboard.

"Was this an ambush ant solely for you?"

Han Yu was curious; considering his cousin’s family’s reputation, it shouldn’t be possible for a ship to be robbed during a journey.

Mo Xingzhi shook his head, sighing. He couldn’t understand it either; the Mo family’s rchant ships had been operating for many years with few incidents.

Furthermore, he had no prior conflicts with the Charming Widow and the Poisonous Bat. As for these two being Demonic Path loose cultivators, that wasn’t entirely accurate.

The Poisonous Bat was originally a disciple of the Five Poison Sect from the Demonic Path. Rumor had it he fled the sect after killing his senior before fleeing to this region.

The Charming Widow was rumored to be the wife of an Elder from the Hehuan Sect, who for so unknown reason killed her husband and escaped here.

"The Demonic Path has always been ruthless; why have they allowed the pair to roam free for so many years?"

Han Yu remarked in surprise.

Mo Xingzhi shook his head, explaining.

The Demonic Path has always been despised by the Righteous Path and the Imperial Court, so they generally do not dare to be too ostentatious. The pair leveraged this to negotiate with the Sects.

Whenever they faced the possibility of defeat, they would disguise themselves and hide in the State City. In doing so repeatedly, the two Sects truly found it hard to deal with them.

After resting for a mont, Mo Xingzhi’s complexion gradually improved. He motioned for the remaining mbers of his family, and each took out pieces of iron from themselves and began assembling on the water.

Han Yu watched in amazent. As the assembly took shape, he recognized it more and more, until eventually, over a dozen Iron Kites floated on the river.

Wasn’t this what his cousin ntioned as a joke? This guy always lanted, feeling unappreciated for his skills by the family.

He probably never imagined his so-called joke had long been put to use by his family!

Seeing Han Yu’s astonished look, Mo Xingzhi thought he was interested in the Iron Kites, so he explained, "This was designed by my nephew. I thought it was good and brought it out."

So it turned out his only supporter was this uncle.

Han Yu secretly felt sorry for his cousin.

An hour later, over a dozen Iron Kites hovered in the air while below were the already-landed Mo Xingzhi and Han Yu.

"I’m really sorry, but I can only leave you here. Not far ahead is the territory of Ink Cloud Mansion. I still need to find a way to inform ho to send soone to search for the ship of Spirit Stones. It’s a matter of grave importance, and I can’t linger."

Mo Xingzhi apologized with cupped hands. Han Yu quickly waved his hands, "No need for thanks. I should be thanking you."

"Until we et again!"

Mo Xingzhi waved and then leapt onto the Iron Kite, soaring into the sky.

Han Yu waved from below as the Iron Kite flapped its wings and vanished instantly from sight.
