Chapter 302: Chapter 246: Infinite Division, Escape Shadow Untouched_3

After making up his mind, Han Yu took out the Seven Forms and Seven Shaping Pill from his Sea of Consciousness, and slowly stepped forward, accurately tossing the pill into the Great Cauldron.

For a long while, there was no movent. Suddenly, a black mark lifted off the edge of the cauldron and, with a flick of its tail, flung the pill out.

Han Yu quickly dodged to catch it, and his face turned dark.

"This damn thing rejected my goodwill."

"It seems it’s not entirely stupid either."

The Artifact Spirit was amazed, seeing that the creature seed capable of distinguishing what to eat and what not to eat.

This was a bit unbelievable.

Han Yu gritted his teeth, opened his palm holding the pill, and began to conjure soil out of thin air to wrap it.

Even if it’s not stupid, it can’t possibly be too smart.

This ti, after tossing in the soil, he imdiately summoned a large pile of similar material to fill it up. He didn’t believe the monster could find the pill mixed in this way.

As expected, after hearing the chewing sound from within the Great Cauldron, Han Yu started to smile. About a quarter-hour later, a hissing sound gradually emanated from the cauldron.

Han Yu retreated cautiously, as the cauldron began shaking violently. A large amount of black substance surged up, hitting the chains above, releasing thick smoke.

This ti the monster seed unable to revert to a liquid state. Instead, it bore a strangely-shaped body, enduring the burning chains while desperately sinking.

Suddenly, with a bang, the monster exploded, transforming into black ink spots that slowly reassembled, this ti forming a sphere that sank down.

It worked!

Overjoyed, Han Yu took out another Five Elents Five Senses Pill and, using the sa trick, filled the cauldron with another heap of soil.

"I told you this thing couldn’t be smart."

Its forgetful eating habits amused Han Yu. As the soil fell, the sphere cracked open a big mouth and started chewing again.

This ti it wasn’t as noisy as before. When Han Yu tentatively threw in so fire, the flas burned on it without any effect. It even opened its mouth to bite a few chunks.

Thick smoke continuously emanated from the cauldron, carrying a pungent sll.

There was one pill left.

According to the plan, as long as the monster consud the last pill, its ability to infinitely divide and escape into shadows would be stripped away, leaving only Divine Power Energy.

At that mont, it might be possible to kill it.

After mixing the pill into the soil, Han Yu waved it into the cauldron, waiting for the monster to take the bait one last ti.

The chewing sound was noticeably faster this ti, perhaps due to its distorted taste, thinking it was a delicacy.

The soil in the cauldron quickly dissipated. In less than a quarter-hour, it was empty.

After finishing, the monster opened its mouth, preparing to take a bite out of the cauldron.

"Yah!"

The sound seed hurried, and it tried to leap but was forcibly stopped by the chains.

The sizzling top did not seem to bother it, as if it couldn’t feel the pain.

Han Yu quietly observed its changes, noting its series of strange behaviors, indicating the third pill’s effect was taking hold.

The sphere seed to be facing a myriad of miraculous events, visibly shrinking under scrutiny, desperately trying to prevent it.

But such a reversal could not be stopped. In Han Yu’s eyes, the opposing side shrank at an ever-increasing pace.

Finally, a crystal-clear black seed appeared within the cauldron.

Success!

Han Yu bead with delight. It had truly worked!

When he approached to look into the cauldron, the black seed was continuously bouncing around, making various noises.

Is this the monster’s initial state?

Why is it a seed?

A wave of energy blew in, but as it lacked any attribute, it just dissipated, leaving a gentle breeze in its place.

Condensing a muddy hand, Han Yu reached into the cauldron and pinched the seed. As it passed by the chains, the suppressing force burned it, producing thick smoke.

Once fully extracted, the seed visibly shrank to less than half its original size.

With a furrowed brow, Han Yu summoned the White Lotus into his palm and tossed in the seed.

The flas shot three feet high, crackling, accompanied by heavy smoke as the seed visibly shrank further.

This fire burned for the ti it takes to brew a cup of tea, until it completely reduced to ashes.

When Han Yu released his group of companions again, an eager cousin asked.

"How did it go? We could only hear the commotion, it was nerve-racking."

"Handled!"

Han Yu replied with a hearty laugh.

The remaining group finally exhaled in relief.

It was finally possible to leave; with the altar’s monster dead, the array could be safely dismantled.

From outside the mountain, the area resembled an earthquake, shaking for quite so ti. As the earth quaked, the mountain’s rock face trembled and fell away.

More dramatically, the entire mountain forest was shaken, swaying back and forth.

When a thunderous crash rang out, it pierced the sky, startling countless birds from the nearby mountains.

As the group gradually walked out of the Earth Palace entrance, they looked at the night sky over the mountains and exhaled deeply.

"That was damn thrilling."

A commoner couldn’t help but speak, resulting in many eye-rolls.

This so-called millennia-old ruin almost trapped them to death, exciting indeed.

Han Yu glanced at the entrance of the Earth Palace, waved his hand, causing the mountainside to surge, instantly collapsing, with the slope sliding down, sealing the entrance tightly.

Inside the Earth Palace, the stone pillars were now only faintly glowing. In the shadow of a particular stone pillar, a tiny thread-like figure cautiously erged.

This spot was exactly where the monster split for the first ti...
