Chapter 67: Anything else?

Thank you [Superdee] for your gift - A Dragon (^_^)

----

At that very mont, the space around Millan and the young man suddenly turned pitch black.

An invisible do enveloped a five-ter radius, centered on the young man.

Millan and Dokai beca petrified, unable to move. Even the expressions on their faces and the soul tentacles in Dokai’s mouth remained completely motionless.

It was as if ti inside that dark do had been frozen, and the only one who could move was that young man.

He flashed a smile full of greed and coldness, pulled a knife from his backpack, and slowly advanced toward Millan.

Rover frowned at the sight. Though he didn’t know what the young man’s ability was, if it could freeze space, its rank was likely very high.

At that mont, sothing crossed Rover’s mind, but Morie imdiately spoke up: "If you want to save her, you should abandon that thought."

"Why?" Rover asked with a frown.

Morie said: "That young man is Zac, a level 2 Survivor. He possesses a special ability that can freeze space within a certain range. Within that space, only he can move."

Hearing this, Rover asked: "Does it have no weakness?"

Morie replied: "Perhaps it does, but I haven’t found his weakness yet. In any case, I’ve only heard about his ability. This is the first ti I’m seeing it directly."

Rover took a deep breath, thinking to himself: ’Strange. If he possesses such a terrifying ability, why isn’t he on the leaderboard?’

Rover didn’t want to leave either. If he had to face Zac in the future, then he needed to know Zac’s weakness clearly. Otherwise, that ability would be practically invincible.

"You stay here..." Rover pushed Morie to a hidden corner, spoke softly, then left.

Morie wanted to say sothing, but seeing his face full of confidence, she didn’t know what to say and could only silently watch his retreating figure.

At that mont, Zac had already taken the small knife and walked up to Millan. He raised the knife, aid precisely at her head, and said with a laugh: "I really want to enjoy you. After all, this is the first ti I’ve seen a woman with a body as beautiful as yours, but... what a sha..."

He plunged the knife tip straight toward Millan’s head with all his strength. He didn’t want any unstable factors or anyone possessing strength surpassing his.

For that reason, even though he really liked Millan because she was very beautiful and her figure was extrely alluring, for survival’s sake, he had to kill her.

Just as the knife tip was less than 2cm from Millan’s head, suddenly...

KLENG!!

"Hm!? What the hell?!" Zac jerked back as the knife tip seed to strike sothing very hard, producing a sharp tallic clash.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

"What?!" Zac startled, seeing his dark do suddenly freeze solid like a glass do.

Then...

BAM!

The dark do shattered. Zac let out a miserable scream as blood poured from his nose and ears.

"AGH!!"

He dropped to the ground, his head in agony as if soone had hamred it with a talisman. At the sa ti, Dokai and Millan were freed from their restraints, their eyes filled with confusion as they looked at Zac.

GRAO!!!

Before Millan could understand what happened, Dokai roared. His hand made of souls imdiately swung up and slamd toward Zac.

BAM!

Dokai’s fist suddenly collided with an invisible wall, producing a deafening crash accompanied by a gust of violent wind blowing outward.

Though Millan didn’t understand what had happened, her combat experience told her she needed to quickly kill Zac.

She didn’t use her ability but drew a military knife, then charged at Zac.

At that mont, Zac was still sitting on the ground clutching his head, his body trembling violently, fresh blood still pouring from his mouth, nose, and ears, looking utterly miserable.

Millan rushed forward with the knife aid straight at Zac’s head, but...

KRIT!!

"What?!" Millan jerked back when she saw the knife tip seemingly strike an invisible wall, sending out countless sparks. She imdiately jumped backward, cautiously looking toward Zac.

GRAO!!

Dokai was different. He frantically used his soul arm to slam toward Zac.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Deafening collision sounds rang out, but Dokai’s fists couldn’t touch Zac, as if an invisible wall blocked the way.

Suddenly, four glass panes appeared, encasing Dokai inside, along with two glass panes above and below, forming a box that trapped Dokai, creating a transparent prison.

"Big bro!" Millan startled and swung her knife at the glass prison.

KRIT! KRIT!!

The piercing sound of the knife scraping against the glass surface rang out, making everyone wince and cover their ears.

However, the glass surface wasn’t scratched even by a small mark. On the contrary, Millan’s blade chipped, then...

Keng!

"What?!" Millan startled when she saw the blade break in half.

"Enough!"

A masculine voice rang out. Rover stepped from the crowd toward Zac, his eyes looking at the others: "There’s nothing left to see here!"

The crowd now realized the glass panes that appeared earlier all belonged to Rover and frowned.

A woman stepped forward, asking softly: "Excuse , you are..."

Rover glanced at the woman, carefully evaluating her a bit. She was indeed quite beautiful. Though not as beautiful as Morie, Nanoe, or Selina, she wasn’t far behind either.

"Is this your friend?" He didn’t answer her question but pointed at Zac and asked.

Hearing this, the woman nodded and said: "He and I are in the sa group. He’s the group leader. We cooperate with each other to survive. Don’t misunderstand, we still have separate rooms. We’re just cooperating, that’s all."

Rover looked at Zac, then said: "Then he stays. The rest of you can go."

"Hahaha..." The woman laughed and said: "You seem very confident in your strength..."

She narrowed her eyes, her gaze carrying unconcealed contempt and provocation.

The surrounding crowd weren’t fools either. They crossed their arms and watched, like vultures waiting for the right opportunity.

These people had all survived the first round. They weren’t idiots either. Although they clearly knew the ability Rover possessed was very strong and very strange, if Rover and that girl fought to the death, the ones who would ultimately profit were them.

Rover frowned. His [Intuition] skill suddenly sent a warning. He imdiately swung his hand up.

KLENG!

"What?!"

A man suddenly erged from Rover’s shadow, swinging a knife at his head, but was imdiately blocked by a transparent glass pane.

Zac ground his teeth at that mont, wanting to use ’Space Freeze’ to restrain Rover, however...

Rover spun around, his kick imdiately striking straight into the middle of Zac’s face.

BAM!

"AGH!!!" Zac scread miserably, teeth scattering everywhere, nose broken, face caving inward.

Rover’s kick sent him flying backward two ters before he stopped, his body twitching slightly then lying still.

However, Rover didn’t receive any notification, which proved Zac was still alive.

The other man still had half his body in Rover’s shadow. He knew clearly this ti he’d poked a hornet’s nest and wanted to quickly escape, however...

"What?!" He startled, imdiately looking down to see Rover’s shadow suddenly transform into a mirror surface as if assembled from countless shattered glass fragnts.

Half his body still inside the shadow was locked tight, unable to move or escape from Rover’s shadow.

Rover waved his hand. Another mirrored cube also appeared, encasing that man inside.

The crowd seeing this scene also startled, hurriedly retreating backward, afraid Rover would suddenly go berserk and attack them.

Rover glanced at the woman, saying with a smile: "Anything else?"
