Chapter 999: Chapter 1000: Not That Bad
These past few days have really been tough for her.
She has to guard against her dad’s people going after Yangyang, while also avoiding getting close to him.
Not getting close ans she doesn’t understand his situation, but getting close makes him misunderstand that she likes him!
It’s really driving her crazy!
So she’s decided not to worry about Yangyang anymore!
She’ll deal with it when sothing happens. Anyway, things are calm right now, there’s no need to scare herself!
Besides, Yangyang looks fearless, even knowing her dad will deal with him.
He’s still trying to get close to her. If he’s not afraid, what does she have to worry about?
After all, she’s already made things clear up front. If he doesn’t care, what can she do?
She believes her dad won’t go too far either. If sothing happens, she’ll find a way to make it up to Yangyang.

When she got ho and walked into the side hall, she saw Ziyang sitting on the sofa talking to Huo Shaohua.
She ran over happily and sat right next to Ziyang: "Brother Ziyang, how co you have ti to co by?"
It had been several days since she last saw Brother Ziyang, and he hadn’t called her either!
When she called him, he always said he was busy and would call her later.
And then he wouldn’t call her back...
Tomorrow is the weekend, and she was planning to find Brother Ziyang to hang out with.
She didn’t expect he was already here—was this a sign they have a special connection?

to co over for dinner." Ziyang glanced at Tianxin and then looked away without lingering on her.
He was afraid her dad would notice sothing unusual about his feelings for Tianxin. If he found out...
He definitely wouldn’t let him get close to Tianxin anymore!
But just that one look, Tianxin’s current appearance was already etched in his mind.
The bandage on her face had been removed, and the wound had scabbed over and was healing quite well.
But she seed to have lost a lot of weight—how could she have lost so much in just a few days!
Could it be she wasn’t eating properly?
"Then I’ll go upstairs to change clothes, I’ll co back and chat with you later!" Tianxin said, then happily ran out of the side hall and upstairs.
She had lots to talk about with Brother Ziyang; she really missed him after not seeing him for several days!
On the other side, Huo Shaohua twitched the corner of his mouth in frustration. Could his daughter not see her dad’s presence?
She only talked to Ziyang, completely ignoring her dad!
"How’s the investigation on that kid?"
"His family is quite ordinary, his parents run a small supermarket. He got into this school through his own ability, often skips classes to work, and is always the top student!" Ziyang shared his findings. Yangyang wasn’t bad at all.
If Tianxin truly likes him... marrying him wouldn’t be a bad choice...
"It seems that kid is sowhat capable, not completely useless." Huo Shaohua nodded, satisfied with Ziyang’s investigation.
Actually, he hadn’t really planned to punish Yangyang excessively.
He was just trying to scare Tianxin, worried that early romance would affect her studies.
If he really hurt Yangyang, Tianxin might end up hating her dad!
He just had Ziyang look into Yangyang’s background to see if the kid had any ulterior motives in getting close to Tianxin.
So far, it looks like he doesn’t; the kid just purely likes Tianxin too.
Tianxin does seem to care about the kid, but they’re not allowed to date!
At the very least, they have to wait until college—what’s there to date in high school!

He also needs to find soone to properly scare that kid, test his courage.
