Chapter 275: Chapter 276 Truth 13

Turning his head to look at Tian Xingyun, he signaled with his eyes for her to speak up for him.

He had snuck in, and if his grandmother kicked him out again, he’d really have no face left to return!

Tian Xingyun understood what he ant, but... she curved her lips into a smile, picked up her spoon, and started drinking porridge.

She ignored his pleading eyes and had no intention of speaking up for him.

"Grandma, today’s porridge is really good," Tian Xingyun said, savoring a sip of the porridge.

"..." Huo Shaohua couldn’t believe this woman was actually ignoring his existence.

"Hmm, not bad at all. Have so more," Grandma nodded approvingly, satisfied with Xingyun’s behavior.

You can’t always let that brat have his way. His arrogant and overbearing nature was cultivated by her indulging him.

It’s impossible for him to change now, so she had to seize the opportunity to teach him a lesson.

Otherwise, if he did sothing wrong, he wouldn’t be able to turn back.

"Hmm," Tian Xingyun smiled faintly and nodded, keeping an eye on his every move from the corner of her eye.

He bullied her so many tis; taking this chance to ss with him a bit wasn’t too much, right?

"What are you still doing here? If you’re not eating, then leave. Don’t just stand around being an eyesore," Grandma glared at Huo Shaohua sternly.

Huo Shaohua opened his mouth to retort, but the words stuck in his throat.

He picked up his spoon and started eating porridge; no matter what he said now, it would be wrong.

Better to keep quiet!

Tian Xingyun watched him suffer in silence, wanting to laugh but holding it in.

She lowered her head and quietly continued eating porridge.

Huatan Village.

A few reporters hid outside the village, observing and putting away their caras.

They changed clothes, disguising themselves as people coming to buy flowers, to smoothly get this headline news.

The reporters reached a consensus to enter Huatan Village together to investigate!

A male and a female reporter pretended to be a couple coming to buy roses, claiming they were getting married.

Hua Fugui rode his tricycle out of Huatan Village, the reporter couple imdiately blocking his way.

Hua Fugui hurriedly braked to a stop, angrily scolding, "What are you doing?! What if I ran into you!"

What was up with these two people, suddenly appearing in front of him?

If he had braked a mont too late, he would have hit them.

"Sorry, we were in too much of a hurry," the female reporter apologized with a smile, her heart pounding from the close call.

Fortunately, he had braked just right, otherwise she would’ve been hit.

"What do you want?" Hua Fugui eyed the couple warily, as it was rare for outsiders to co to Huatan Village.

Apart from wholesalers, almost no one ca here.

The people who ca here were all familiar faces; the only relatively unfamiliar ones recently were the Huo Family.

But even the Huo Family wasn’t that unfamiliar now.

"It’s like this, my girlfriend and I are getting married. We heard the flowers here are very good, so we ca to take a look and buy so for our wedding," the male reporter said with a smile, nervously adjusting his glasses.

"Yes, we’re getting married, so we ca to check out the flowers here," the female reporter nodded, blushing a bit coquettishly.

She didn’t know why she got so nervous when he grabbed her hand.

She had dated before but had never been this nervous.

"The flowers in our village are, of course, the best; nowhere else can compare!" Hua Fugui said proudly, delighted to hear soone praise the village’s flowers.

He gradually lowered his defenses.

"We heard the flowers here are good, so we ca to take a look," the female reporter quickly nodded.

"What kind of flowers do you want?"

"Can we go in and take a look? We need a lot of flowers," the male reporter said sincerely.
