After resolving Eddie’s issues, An Yiqing felt much more at ease. In her view, being able to help Gu Yelin was a very happy thing.

Gu Yelin gently held An Yiqing in his arms, his voice deep and pleasant.
An Yiqing’s lips curled into a sly smile. She looked up, her still sowhat unclear eyes smiling at Gu Yelin’s handso face.
"Well, you’ve conveyed Eddie’s words. Is there anything you’d like to say to ?"
Gu Yelin was taken aback. For a brief mont, a trace of bewildernt flickered in his cold, dark eyes. Seeing An Yiqing’s sly smile, he couldn’t help but shake his head helplessly.
He lightly tapped An Yiqing’s small nose and planted a deep kiss on her forehead.
"Tutu, what I want to say is, it’s great to have you by my side."
A few days later, the engagent ceremony date between Miss Guh Siyi of the Guh Family and the Kang Family’s eldest grandson, Kang Feng, was finally set, and the invitations were gradually sent out.

The sound of things shattering echoed continuously, leaving a ss on the soft wool carpet.
Clad in a red nightgown, Guh Siyi sat on the sofa, her long hair loose, panting heavily. Her face was frighteningly dark, and her eyes were filled with viciousness and anger.
Shi Xiaowen stood silently behind Guh Siyi, her gaze occasionally glancing at the ss on the carpet, her thoughts unknown.
"How could Grandpa do this! Scheduling the day without my permission, treating
like what?!" Just thinking about getting engaged to that Kang Feng made Guh Siyi’s face more and more sullen.
"Senior Sister, don’t be too angry. It’s better to endure it for now. Didn’t Master also say that marrying into the Kang Family is beneficial for our future plans?"
Without Shi Xiaowen speaking, Guh Siyi already felt furious, but when she brought up the topic it’d only fueled her anger further.
She slamd the sofa hard, standing up furiously.
"Plans, plans! Damn plans! In Master’s eyes, am I worth less than his plans?! If that’s the case, I might as well leave the Poison dicine Sect!"
Shi Xiaowen’s face turned pale, hurriedly covering Guh Siyi’s mouth.
"Senior Sister, you can’t say things like that! If Master hears about it, you’ll be punished!"
ntioning the word "punished" flickered a hint of dread across Guh Siyi’s eyes.
"Hmph! So what if I said it? It’s not like Master will for sure punish ! We have a certain relationship..." Guh Siyi paused, perhaps thinking she’d said too much, and chose not to discuss the topic further.
She turned her gaze on Shi Xiaowen, who kept her head lowered, pondering unknown thoughts.
After a long ti, she suddenly sneered, a sound that sent chills down Shi Xiaowen’s spine.
"Since Grandpa insists on this marriage alliance, so be it. Though I can’t guarantee what might happen on the day of the engagent."
She clenched the rose in her hand so tightly that it crushed. The red juice dripped through her fingers. Guh Siyi’s icy, sharp gaze landed on Shi Xiaowen, and with a slight part of her red lips, she spoke.
"Go back and tell Master I’ll do as he says. You rember this, don’t reveal anything you heard here today to anyone! You know the consequences otherwise!"
Shi Xiaowen’s slender body trembled fiercely, quickly nodding in agreent.
After Shi Xiaowen left the Guh Family, Guh Siyi stood alone quietly in front of the window, watching Shi Xiaowen’s departing figure downstairs.
A strange smile crept on her lips, her eyes filled with madness and fury.
"Even if I, Guh Siyi, marry, it can only be to Gu Yelin!"
