Chapter 200: Chapter 200: Assassination
Zhou An looked back and found that Su Changxing was no longer in the spot he was in just monts ago. He realized that Su Changxing had been standing there for quite a while.
Now, with the Screar attacking the settlent, the first person he thought of who could deal with it was Su Changxing. If Su Changxing couldn’t handle it, then they truly had no other options.
If they couldn’t eliminate the Screar, they were dood.
Yet, Zhou An didn’t seem too panicked; he had, after all, been given a second chance at life thanks to an unexpected rescue by Su Changxing.
He stood amidst the crowd, scanning around, his chubby cheeks flushed red as he excitedly shouted:
"Don’t be afraid, Brother Su can handle this Screar. Surely, you’re aware of how formidable he is, this Screar is no match for him at all."
Everyone here knew Su Changxing, and no one could ignore Su Changxing’s formidable prowess.
Hearing Zhou An’s calls, many people felt a surge of hope. Hope was also a motivator, and the morale of the group soared instantly.
Seeing the effect, Zhou An continued to shout: "Brother Su once single-handedly took down four or five Screars. This one Screar is nothing to be feared."
So it’s best not to boast too excessively.
Su Changxing, hearing this from upstairs, was montarily stunned. However, no one questioned Zhou An’s words, and many people wore expressions of excitent.
People sotis only believe in the outcos they want, the things they wish to believe. Sotis, this is where hope cos from.
Hope is often an elusive thing.
By now, the Screar had already entered the settlent from the exit; many people could see its full appearance.
Su Changxing was upstairs, leading the Monkey King all the way to a position close to the Screar.
Since he couldn’t speak, he gestured with his hands to express the following intentions: Jump down first later, distract its judgnt, and if possible, limit its actions.
The next mont,
Su Changxing watched as the Monkey King jumped out of the window, diving straight toward the Screar: "You didn’t get what I ant."
To the Monkey King, Su Changxing simply ant for him to go for it. So he went for it; Xiaobo was no timid monkey.
The Monkey King’s size was comparable to an adult’s, but extrely robust. Yet, compared to the Screar, it seed a bit small.
Su Changxing instantly sprang into action. Seeing the mont the Monkey King made contact with the Screar, he crouched on the windowsill, muscles in his legs tense, body leaning forward, shooting out like a cannonball.
In this state, Su Changxing’s body strength had reached an incredibly terrifying level. His power and speed were at least ten tis greater.
Moreover, after enhancing his attributes, his physical capabilities were magnified, his combat prowess raised by a whole new level. Right now, he was about thirty percent stronger than before the Blood Moon.
If he were to be besieged by those Hunters again, he could easily escape unscathed, facing little danger.
The Monkey King collided with the Screar and tightly grasped its neck, using his hands to pound it forcefully.
However, the Screar’s defense was beyond imagination, its layer of scale armor seed to have a shock-absorbing effect. Even though the Monkey King had the strength to smash walls, it couldn’t do much damage to the Screar.
The Screar grabbed the Monkey King like it was a chick, smashing it towards the ground, eyes filled with rciless cruelty.
They existed purely for killing and destruction.
The intense airflow made the Screar look upward, seeing another "bug" descending towards it.
This "bug" seed to be moving quite fast.
"Boom~"
Relying on his montum, Su Changxing flipped the Screar over entirely, crashing it to the ground, crushing several zombies beneath, while his blade stabbed into the Screar’s body.
Its blood was purple.
Su Changxing initially thought these Screars would have black blood like zombies.
In the midst of the Undead Tide, the Screar was suddenly toppled over, and many people, seeing this scene, were thrilled, believing Su Changxing could single-handedly take down this Screar.
The Screar wasn’t dead yet, however, and even retained a strong life force, its heart pumping like a tidal surge.
"Ah~"
The intense pain elicited a bizarre cry from it.
Under this cry, the surrounding zombies charged toward Su Changxing one after another.
Su Changxing raised a fist over his head, bringing it down towards the Screar.
"Bang~"
The crystal-like scale armor dented under imnse force.
"Bang~"
Following up, another punch split the scale armor, purple blood oozing out, causing the sand beneath to tremble.
"Bang~"
With the third punch, Su Changxing’s fist was already a bloody ss, leaving marks on the scale armor, reminiscent of blood spattering on a window that a towel couldn’t completely clean.
Every attack was delivered with Su Changxing’s full force, firmly suppressing the Screar, preventing it from getting up, using pure strength to keep it down.
At this mont, he was akin to a humanoid monster, his small stature not diminishing the threat he posed to the Screar in the least.
Not enough.
Still not enough.
This level of attack was nowhere near enough to kill the Screar.
He landed two more punches on the Screar’s head.
The Monkey King climbed up from the ground, witnessing Su Changxing brutally battering the Screar; its body involuntarily shivered. Such a level of attack could easily kill it.
It had always thought that its abilities, even if not as great as Su Changxing’s, weren’t far off.
But now it realized that wasn’t the case at all.
After delivering five consecutive punches, the scale armor on the Screar’s head completely shattered.
Su Changxing pulled out the steel saber lodged in the Screar’s abdon, slashing down four or five approaching zombies, then stabbed again at the breached section of the Screar’s scale armor.
Sensing danger, the Screar suddenly burst with strength, dodging this lethal strike at the mont Su Changxing swung his saber.
The steel saber stuck in a part of the scale armor that was intact, wedged in the bone.
Su Changxing landed in front of the Screar, seeing it swipe at him with a claw, he t it with a punch using his other hand.
"Bang~"
The clash of claw and fist produced a muffled sound.
The flesh on Su Changxing’s fist split open, the white of bone visible, revealing the limitations of even an Extraordinary’s physical form.
Still, he firmly blocked the strike, putting force into a punch that struck the Screar’s lower abdon heavily.
"Ah!"
The Screar let out another cry of agony.
The Screar’s lower body defenses were relatively weaker!
Su Changxing instantly recognized the crucial point in this.
Taking a side step, he deftly avoided the Screar’s next swipe, pulling a short sword from his waist with his left hand, slashing at the Screar’s abdon.
This short sword was one he had claid from that leader of Chenxi back in the day. It was sharper, more solid, and resilient than the steel saber, though shorter, so he regarded it as a backup weapon.
And now, this backup weapon was proving exceptionally effective.
With a sharp sound, the blade tore a half-ter long gash in the Screar’s scale armor, causing a gush of blood to spurt out.
