The next day, Wu Tian got up very early. Now that everything in Peng City had been wrapped up, it was ti to head back. The Cui Family saw Wu Tian and the others off to the airport.

But they got stuck in traffic. Amid the long wait, the little one grew angry.

"ARGH, it's so slow! We've been waiting for an hour and a half, how can this be?" The little one was still a child and had a child's temper, feeling utterly frustrated. Why was the road so congested? What was causing it? Who was responsible? She really wanted to beat the person responsible until their own mother wouldn't recognize them.

"Hmph! Don't you people know? Ti is life! Wasting my ti is costing

my life!" the little one suddenly blurted out, leaving Wu Tian, Qin Yuhan, and Xia Qian astounded. Impressive, she even knew that saying.

Qin Yuhan went over and told her that traffic jams were inevitable and that she had to learn to let it go. Xia Qian added that, nine tis out of ten, life doesn't go your way.

This sent the little one into deep thought, making her look just like the statue of The Thinker.

Wu Tian muttered to himself in frustration, Who knows what kind of logic this girl will co up with now? I can't understand the things she thinks of. No normal person could.

Wu Tian admitted that his daughter's aptitude surpassed his own. Among everyone he had t, only the Empress's aptitude could compare with his daughter's.

Qin Yuhan also whispered to Wu Tian, saying it was her fault for not having had ti to look after the little one, which resulted in her personality being different from other children's.

Wu Tian shook his head. He thought his daughter was fine just the way she was and saw no need for her to change. Every person is unique. Many people seem similar when they are young, but they grow to beco different in all sorts of ways. The little one was simply revealing her unique side earlier than others.

Wu Tian lowered his head, bringing his gaze level with the little one's. "Silly girl, do you want to be the invincible one?" he asked warmly.

That question certainly had an effect. The little one imdiately opened her big, cute eyes wide, and the word "invincible" made a different kind of light sparkle in them.

She stretched out her little arms, hugged Wu Tian, and said sweetly, "Hug

first. After a hug, then I'll tell you."

She was so adorable; how could her father refuse? Wu Tian imdiately scooped her up and placed her on his lap.

Only then did the little one say, "I do! I want to be the invincible one."

Wu Tian nodded. "Then you have to learn to be patient. You have to learn to wait."

Wu Tian's words made the little one bite her lip, but she eventually nodded.

Wu Tian smiled, now knowing how to 'deal with' the little one in the future.

The traffic soon cleared up. They arrived at the airport just in ti for boarding.

「Yang City, a bustling tropolis.」

A Rolls-Royce weaved through the streets. Spacious inside, this type of car wasn't suited for young people; rather, many older people were fond of it.

Murong Zhongzheng, Murong Yezi's father, had been living a relaxed and happy retirent in Gusu. Aside from Murong Yezi, who had been driven away, his other children all held positions of so status, such as a county head or the general manager of a company. His grandson Murong Ziqi in particular had brought him great honor.

At only twenty-two, he was already one of the Seven Saints of Dragon Country. No young person had enjoyed such a prestigious distinction in recent history.

The Murong Family's fading ambition to restore their kingdom was once again ignited.

Inside the car, Murong Zhongzheng gazed out the window at the street, his expression complex. He was reluctant to see his daughter, a feeling born of guilt. When she had been cast out of the family ho years ago, he, as her father, had been powerless to stop it. Yet now, he had no choice but to seek out Murong Yezi.

The Murong Family was in dire need of a vast sum of money.

Murong Yezi had married, though the family had been unable to find out to whom. Her son, however, was extraordinary. According to their files, he possessed SSSSS-rated comrcial acun, comparable to that of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. Furthermore, his wife was the CEO of the Qin Corporation, Yang City's top conglorate, and he even held shares in the herbal dicine company.

These findings alone were enough for Murong Guangfu, Murong Zhongzheng's son. He couldn't hold back any longer. Believing there was no need for further investigation, he imdiately urged Murong Zhongzheng and other family mbers to head to Yang City.

"Grandfather, rember to play the family card later," Murong Ziqi suggested. He was dressed in a white suit, looking both refined and handso.

"I know, Ziqi. I understand everything you've said. It's just..." Murong Zhongzheng paused. "It just weighs heavily on my heart. She's suffered so much over the years, and now we're coming to her for her wealth."

As he spoke, Murong Zhongzheng seed to age even further.

Murong Ziqi sat beside him with a smile. Neither he nor his father, Murong Guangfu, felt any twinge of conscience. In their minds, as a mber of the Murong Family, Murong Yezi was bound to them by blood. If she lacked the talent to advance the family's grand ambitions, then what did it matter if she contributed her wealth instead? Murong Zhongzheng himself had said that if they could successfully restore the kingdom, they would repay her double, even tenfold. This ti, they weren't here to take; they were here to borrow.

Murong Ziqi had investigated his aunt, Murong Yezi, and Qin Yuhan, concluding that they were indeed two remarkable won. As for his cousin Wu Tian, he hadn't expected him to possess a business acun rated 'SSSSS'.

This cousin could be useful in assisting . If the kingdom is restored, I can just make him Pri Minister, Murong Ziqi thought with another smile.

They also hit traffic on the roads of Yang City. By the ti they arrived at Murong Yezi's doorstep, Wu Tian, Qin Yuhan, and the others had long since returned.

The family was still in a joyous mood when there was a sudden knock on the door.

Murong Yezi furrowed her brow. She had felt uneasy all day, as if a twitch in her eyelid was a bad on.

She opened the door. "Dad," she called out, almost by instinct, upon seeing the elderly man before her.

Murong Zhongzheng nodded and looked at Wu Tian and Qin Yuhan, smiling kindly. "So this is my grandson and granddaughter-in-law?"

Wu Tian's expression remained calm. He had grown up without ever eting his maternal grandfather. In his mind, the man was long dead. His sudden appearance left him uncertain whether this was a good or bad thing. But even if it's bad, so what? he thought. With his current power, Wu Tian didn't believe anything in this city could restrain him.

His grandson's lack of warmth was not what Murong Zhongzheng had expected, and he was taken aback.

As the forr head of the main branch, the family had once placed its hopes of restoring the kingdom on Murong Zhongzheng, and he had been raised to be outstanding. He could see through Murong Ziqi's ambitions, but for the sake of the family, he had allowed them. Now, however, he found he couldn't see through his own grandson at all.

His heart tightened with apprehension. I wonder if this visit to find Yezi will end well or poorly for the Murong Family!
