Chapter 7: Chapter 7: The Great Talent Scramble Across Regions

"Damn, this is freaking aweso!"

In the command center, Wei Qing slamd the table and stood up, shouting instinctively as he witnessed this scene.

"Back in the day, it took

at least thirty seconds to take down ten Black Bull Insects, and this kid did it in just one second?!"

"This person is soone we have to get in District One!"

As Wei Qing spoke, he was about to turn around and head to the site to grab the person.

Before he could leave his seat, his shoulders were pressed down from both sides.

"Old Wei, District One is all about daredevils. A rookie Spirit Contract Master going there isn’t much different from a death sentence. It’s better to co to District Three to grow first."

The one speaking was Ye Qiu, the head of District Three. He pressed one hand on Wei Qing’s shoulder, surprisingly preventing the latter from getting up.

"Old Ye, are you serious with ?"

Feeling the pressure on his shoulder, Wei Qing squinted his eyes slightly, letting out a bit of a Crimson madness.

"Hmph, since your sister-in-law isn’t here today, I’m not afraid of you alone."

"Hey, it’s been a while since we had a fight. It’s ti to teach you a lesson today! With your sister-in-law not around, beating you up won’t look too bad."

"Brother Wei, Brother Ye, your districts are either a main battlefield or a fortress assault, neither is a good place to go. In my opinion, he should co to our District Four, starting with relic exploration..."

Shen Zheqi, the head of District Four, pressed down on Wei Qing’s other shoulder.

"Get outta here!"

The other two said in unison.

The fiercely competing Districts One, Three, and Four are the three major districts with the most Combat Spirit Contract Masters assigned, corresponding to the main battlefield, fortress assault, and relic exploration respectively.

These three were at an impasse,

Sitting in the back, Chen Guangpu and Zhao Hu also had varied expressions on their faces.

Chen Guangpu was happy, surprised, and overjoyed. He initially thought Han Zhan was done for, but not only was he not, he was so damn impressive!

Zhao Hu’s expression was much uglier, as if he had swallowed a whole defense.

But he neither could nor dared to act out, so he could only hold it in.

The assessnt continued on the screen.

In fact, even the examiners responsible for the assessnt never expected Han Zhan to pass "Difficulty One". Reluctantly, they continued,

"Testing Difficulty Two: Twenty Tier One Black Bull Insects!"

When twenty Black Bull Insects appeared together in the Combat Space, the entire space beca much more crowded.

Each Black Bull Insect was comparable to a calf, with the twenty of them forming a dark mass, looking quite spectacular.

The audience was stunned.

For so many years,

they had never seen a Tier One Spirit Contract Master challenge twenty Black Bull Insects at once.

This had completely broken through conventional difficulty, reaching a ridiculous level.

Han Zhan stood firm, caressed the zither,

A single fluid motion!

Still a one-shot kill!

"Bring as many of these as you want, it won’t matter. Increase the difficulty." Suddenly, Han Zhan in the field spoke.

"Increase the difficulty?"

"Wow, so arrogant!"

"Isn’t this slapping the officials in the face? You gave

Difficulty One with ten Black Bull Insects, and now I’m telling you, bring it on harder!"

"So arrogant, don’t the officials have anything to say about this? Just letting him show off like that?"

The officials were quite busy at the mont.

In the command center.

In the fight for Han Zhan, Wei Qing, Ye Qiu, and Shen Zheqi had truly co to blows. They were fighting in a special space opened by Lin Jingxuan, allowing them to give it their all without worry.

The other district heads watched the excitent with great interest.

Such a "spectacle" hadn’t been seen since they graduated and went their separate ways.

In any case, Han Zhan was undergoing a battle assessnt, which had nothing to do with them, so they couldn’t really rush it.

Hearing Han Zhan’s voice on the screen, the elder sitting at the front suddenly laughed heartily. "Interesting."

"He’s right; such an assessnt is aningless," Lin Jingxuan said, adjusting his black-frad glasses as he picked up the conversation.

"Tier One Black Bull Insects rely on their thick skin and large numbers to win. Against him and his Zither Sound Air Blade, they stand no chance."

"Even raising the number of Black Bull Insects to dozens or hundreds won’t change the outco; it’s still a one-shot kill."

"Unless it’s a real Insect Tide of Black Bull Insects."

A real Black Bull Insect Tide could be tens of millions of Tier One Black Bull Insects, densely packed like a black tide, advancing wave after wave.

But that’s no longer a Tier One Spirit Contract Master assessnt, but a bug disaster, and using a bug disaster for an assessnt isn’t feasible.

"Jingxuan, do you have any suggestions?" the elder asked, with Lin Jingxuan responding.

"Let’s use the highest standards from back when we took the battle assessnts," Lin Jingxuan suggested.

Those battle assessnts from back then,

compared to the current watered-down version, were completely different.

Because the purpose of the assessnt was different as well.

Lin Jingxuan suggesting using his own assessnt standards indicated he already recognized Han Zhan’s strength.

"Hm, good. Let’s prepare then. I didn’t expect to make an unexpected find on this spontaneous visit to Deep Blue," the elder said.

As soon as the elder spoke, the staff on standby rushed to relay the ssage.

Soon, the staff on the assessnt battlefield also received the notice from above.

Upon seeing the page of new battle assessnt content, he couldn’t help but gulp unconsciously.

Is this really an assessnt?

Isn’t this just pushing people to the brink?

Shouldn’t it be that the leaders up top got angry and plan to teach this young man a lesson?

"Ahem, as per your request, the officials have made adjustnts,"

"Battle test assessnt, Difficulty Three: Ten Tier Two Giant Armored Lizards! Ten Tier Two Thunder Sound Birds!"

As soon as the new Difficulty Three assessnt was announced, the whole place erupted.

Tier Two?

You’re using Tier Two Exotic Beasts for a Tier One Spirit Contract Master’s assessnt?

Are the officials completely shaless?

Tier Two Giant Armored Lizards are like the pro max version of Black Bull Insects, with greatly enhanced power and defense, each comparable to a heavy tank.

The Tier Two Thunder Sound Bird, a mutated bird species, could produce a piercing sound from its throat, shooting out lightning, and being a flying unit, it was exceptionally troubleso.

This combination of "tank" and "assassin" would be headache-inducing even for Tier Two Spirit Contract Masters.

"Sure, bring it on."

To everyone’s surprise, Han Zhan calmly accepted the challenge.

For him, the battle assessnt itself was aningless; Han Zhan wanted more to challenge the limits!

He wanted to test the limits of himself and Xia Youwei’s Fu Xi Zither.

And then, with the results, smack those people in the face, showing them Xia Youwei was no waste!

"Hmph, arrogant." At this mont, an untily voice arose among the crowd.

Wang Luma and Xiao i, who had exited the assessnt, had not yet left, and seeing Han Zhan show off his prowess was even harder for them to stomach than passing the assessnt themselves.

As soon as Wang Luma spoke, the surrounding people cast strange looks their way.

Those looks seed filled with words like "idiot," "retard," "clown," and the like.

Wang Luma stiffened his neck, still stubbornly saying, "What are you looking at? If Han Zhan passes this difficulty, I’ll eat shit standing on my head!"
