Just then, the Ghost King suddenly struck the Lord of Netherworld, casting a myriad of palm shadows towards him. The Lord of Netherworld hastily countered with his own palm strikes. Though the Ghost King’s attack couldn’t harm him, the energy impact from their powerful blows could destroy a large portion of Jiuyou City below.
"Ghost King, today I swear enmity with you! Even if you destroy my Jiuyou City, the fall of your Black Spirit City won’t be far behind. Just you wait!" the Lord of Netherworld stated viciously.
Then, with a swift movent, he instantly teleported back to the City Lord’s Mansion. He needed to take Yiyi away safely. Jiuyou City could be destroyed, but his daughter could not. This was why he refused to spar with the Ghost King.
anwhile, Chu Linfeng was walking slowly along the streets of Beast King City with Xiao Qiang, followed by a large crowd of curious people, mostly from the Beast Race. However, Xiao Qiang’s displayed strength was too overwhelming, forcing them to keep a distant watch.
At that mont, the Second Prince of the Beast King and several people speaking in the mansion arrived, among them the Guard Leader whom Chu Linfeng had released. Seeing Chu Linfeng, the Guard Leader imdiately said, "Second Prince, it’s these two! Quickly capture them!"
