Chapter 721: Chapter 741: Five Elents Fruit
Chu Linfeng’s Earth Slash had already reached the level of mastery, wielded with ease, fully incorporating the Five Elents Elental Power and Thunder Elent, its power comparable to the original Celestial Slash. Although this person was at the Fifth Layer of the Saint Martial Realm, he couldn’t withstand this strike.
The massive Sword Qi attack hit him instantly, punching a large hole through his body, sending him flying dozens of ters away like a kite with a broken string, and he lay there for a long ti without getting up.
With just one move, Chu Linfeng seriously injured the strongest mber of the group, a terrifying display of power that made everyone feel endangered; such a shocking strength had never been encountered before in this Land of the Dead.
At this mont, a disheveled female ghost stepped forward, appearing sowhat nervous as her body trembled non-stop: "You, you, what exactly do you want? We are not... not afraid of you!"
"Haha, if you’re not afraid of , then why are you shaking? My purpose is simple, just the Wooden Tokens on you. I’m in a good mood today and don’t want to go on a killing spree. If you think my words are untrustworthy, there’s nothing I can do; leave the Wooden Tokens and go, otherwise don’t bla
for being ruthless!" Chu Linfeng said sternly, also releasing an overwhelming pressure.
This majesty imdiately made these people feel a desire to submit, each one in great shock, finally realizing the strength of this person, each looking at the other in silent uncertainty.
"I’ll give you ten breaths to hand over the tokens, or next ti it will be your death, don’t test my patience!" Chu Linfeng said.
The female ghost then moved to the side of the Big-headed Ghost who had just been knocked away by Chu Linfeng. After checking his injuries, she found that the Big-headed Ghost was already at his last breath, with only a ghost of a breath left.
The large wound on his chest had turned pitch black, emitting a burnt sll, "Big brother, wake up! What should we do now?" the female ghost whispered to the Big-headed Ghost.
The Big-headed Ghost opened his weary eyes, glanced at her, and weakly said: "Survival is key, I’m done for, this... this person’s strength is beyond your capability to resist. Keep... the green hills, don’t... worry about firewood."
With those words, the Big-headed Ghost unexpectedly kicked the bucket, his eyes revealing an expression of unwilling fury, clearly feeling it was undeserved to die without even knowing who killed him.
The female ghost then approached the crowd, saying, "We should all give him the Wooden Tokens. As long as he lets us go, there’s always a chance to get the tokens again. Staying alive is more important than anything!"
"Yes, staying alive is more important than anything!" another mber of the Ghost Race chid in, leading everyone to reluctantly place their Wooden Tokens on the ground, as they understood that in an era where power ruled, they could only endure silently.
Seeing how obedient these people were, Chu Linfeng felt quite pleased inside. This avoided a lot of unnecessary trouble, seeming like the best thod to acquire Wooden Tokens in the future!
"Very good, you understand the importance of life, so I won’t make things difficult. Off you go! Hopefully, we won’t cross paths again!" Chu Linfeng laughed, then used the Star Absorption Technique to draw the Wooden Tokens on the ground to him, and with Divine Sense, placed them all into the Storage Ring.
The crowd, witnessing this, better understood the extraordinary nature of this young man. Chu Linfeng ignored their stares, activated Instant Teleportation, and vanished from their sight.
After Chu Linfeng left, these Ghost Race mbers felt like they’d survived a disaster. The female ghost said, "Who is this person really, with such incredible strength? I’ve heard the most powerful contestants this ti are at the Seventh Layer of the Saint Martial Realm. Could this young man be that expert?"
"Quite possibly," another Ghost Race mber replied. "To kill the Big-headed Ghost with one strike, only soone of such a realm could do it. Luckily, he didn’t go on a killing spree against us, or no one would have left here alive today."
At this mont, Chu Linfeng was in an excellent mood, having just obtained more than a dozen Wooden Tokens at once. At this rate, just encountering two or three more groups like this would complete the task, so he stopped Instant Teleportation and continued flying slowly, keeping an eye out for traces of the Ghost Race on the ground.
In the days that followed, Chu Linfeng encountered nurous Ghost Race mbers, both lone wanderers and groups, leaving none unscathed as he slew them all.
Because unlike the first group he encountered, these people didn’t fear him, which made Chu Linfeng very displeased. This series of slayings consud quite a bit of his Chaotic Dragon Power, though there was one satisfying point: among the Ghost Race mbers he killed, one had seven Wooden Tokens, effectively killing seven people at once.
Counting the Wooden Tokens in the Storage Ring, Chu Linfeng found he had ninety-three now, seven short of completing the task, with about eight days left until departure. The remaining days seed promisingly relaxed.
Then Chu Linfeng flew toward where he encountered the Viper, not using Instant Teleportation, as there was no rush, and it wasn’t the ti for a breakthrough either. Perhaps along the way, he might encounter a few more Ghost Race mbers to gather one hundred Wooden Tokens.
After a day of flight, without sighting any Ghost Race mbers, he encountered several creatures carrying Illusion Stones, slaying them all and placing the stones into the Storage Belt.
However, a day away from where the Viper appeared, he stumbled upon sothing extraordinary: a desert landscape, vast and boundless with yellow sands everywhere, yet within it lay green vegetation. It was the first green he’d seen after entering the Netherworld, an incredible sight, and he descended to examine it closely.
It turned out to be just a small tree less than a ter tall, but its leaves were not only green but bore other colors.
Five colors — gold, wood, water, fire, earth — were present, along with five egg-sized fruits, and Chu Linfeng had the feeling these must be sothing valuable, sothing imnsely rare.
Before he could speak, the Sword Spirit exclaid, "Wow, a Five Elents Tree here, Lin Feng, your luck is really extraordinary! If the Five Elents Fruit of this tree ripens, it will be a heaven-defying treasure."
"Five Elents Fruit? Does eating this fruit enhance Five Elents Power? But the fruit doesn’t look ripe yet, and I can’t stay here waiting!" Chu Linfeng said indifferently, finding it hard to value the fruit despite the Sword Spirit’s words, as it seed a waste if not ripe, and unable to be taken away, it could only be left behind with regret.
"The Five Elents Fruit is sothing desired even in the Immortal Realm, having great benefits for Five Elents Power when consud. Since you’ve fully comprehended the Five Elents, you could consu all of the Five Elents Fruit; who knows what miracle might occur then!" the Sword Spirit excitedly said.
"Miracle? Indeed, it would be a miracle for these Five Elents Fruit to ripen now!" Chu Linfeng said...
