Chapter 345: Chapter 354: Yuwen Qingkong Becos the Prince Consort

Chu Linfeng was holding the embroidery ball unscathed, making many envious. The rmaid Princess also felt that her true destined one was him. Suddenly, a faint white light shot out from Chu Linfeng’s brow and landed on the embroidery ball.

Almost no one noticed this bizarre phenonon, but Chu Linfeng knew that the Sword Spirit had left his body. She was controlling the Energy Stone to ensure that he would throw the embroidery ball to Yuwen Qingkong.

About five seconds later, the voice of the Sword Spirit ca: "Lin Feng, quickly give it to him, let him pass the embroidery ball to the rmaid Princess as soon as possible. I can’t hold on much longer."

Hearing this, Chu Linfeng hurriedly threw the embroidery ball to Yuwen Qingkong, nearly catching him off guard.

Yuwen Qingkong caught the embroidery ball, and no red light appeared, leaving many people puzzled as to why Chu Linfeng had thrown the ball to another young man.

The rmaid King and Princess on the Imperial City wall were also very puzzled. Logically, Chu Linfeng holding the embroidery ball for as long as he did proved that the Energy Stone wouldn’t attack him, indicating he was her true destine.

Now throwing the embroidery ball out was clearly looking down on her, an insult that was hard to accept.

Just as the rmaid Princess was getting angry, the rmaid King said, "Qian’er, do you think that boy purposely gave you to another lad? Just now, I felt an energy emanating from his brow, a very strange energy.

Now the young man holding the embroidery ball also shows no signs of being attacked by the Energy Stone. Both boys are extraordinary."

"Dad, if you had to choose, who would you pick?" asked the rmaid Princess known as Qian’er.

"Choose whoever holds the embroidery ball. Although both are excellent, the tradition of your matchmaking can’t be broken. Surely, you won’t choose both boys, which would be quite the spectacle." The rmaid King chuckled.

"Dad, I really want to choose the first boy, but since I can’t break tradition, I’ll reluctantly choose the other one. You better co to a decision quickly before sothing unexpected happens," the rmaid Princess said.

At this mont, Yuwen Qingkong, full of shock, looked at Chu Linfeng and said, "Second brother, what on earth is going on? Don’t tell

I’m the man she’s chosen. I know that’s impossible. Did you do sothing?"

"Big brother, did you forget what you promised

just now? As long as the embroidery ball is in your hand, you must hold it tightly and not let it go. Now that it’s in your hand, what else can you say?" Chu Linfeng laughed.

"Second brother, you’re putting

in a difficult spot. I haven’t even dealt with the tigress at ho, and now there’s another rmaid Princess. You’re really driving

crazy!" Yuwen Qingkong said.

He then tried to throw the embroidery ball back to Chu Linfeng, but with the Sword Spirit inside, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t throw it out. The embroidery ball seed stuck to his hand.

"Big brother, the rmaid Princess is a rare beauty. You shouldn’t be ungrateful. If it weren’t for my own reasons, I wouldn’t give her to you." Chu Linfeng laughed.

The voice of the rmaid King ca from the Imperial City wall: "The selection for my daughter’s suitor has concluded. May the young man with the embroidery ball return it to my daughter, and we will host a grand wedding ceremony for you shortly."

Yuwen Qingkong found himself at a loss, standing there hesitating. Chu Linfeng approached him and said, "Everyone’s watching you. Gaining the rmaid Princess has stirred up public resentnt. Without the princess’s protection, you’re dood."

Yuwen Qingkong glanced around at the countless pairs of hostile eyes, feeling a chill down his spine, he said with a grim resolve, "If I must die, so be it. Second brother, I’ll deal with you later!"

He then took to the air swiftly towards the wall, while countless people looked at this young man holding the embroidery ball with envy, jealousy, and hatred.

"This is outrageous! Such an unparalleled beauty like the rmaid Princess, won by a stinking brat from the Human Race, it’s infuriating!" said a young man from the rmaid Race.

"I’m among the top ten strongest of the young rmaid Race, I can’t believe I’m less than a Human Race fellow, it’s unbearable," another rmaid Race youth said.

"I’ll cleave him later, no way my dream lover can be touched by just anyone!" a Crabman Race youth said, raising his two large pincers.

"You better hold your horses. If you dare harm that lad, the rmaid Princess will surely tear you to shreds, just try it if you don’t believe ."

...

Having flown onto the wall, Yuwen Qingkong t the rmaid King and his attendants. After sizing up Yuwen Qingkong, they felt he was quite remarkable, with an aura of royalty about him.

"Young man, very impressive. To gain the embroidery ball among so many shows you’re no ordinary person. The rmaid Princess awaits you, hand over the embroidery ball and you’ll beco her Prince Consort," the rmaid King said.

Yuwen Qingkong nodded and walked over. The rmaid Princess had her back turned, and her figure seed very appealing.

"Princess, here’s your embroidery ball, please inspect it!" Yuwen Qingkong said casually, not knowing what else to say.

The rmaid Princess turned to look at Yuwen Qingkong and said, "Give

the embroidery ball. From now on, you’re my Prince Consort, and you must cherish Qian’er."

Yuwen Qingkong handed the embroidery ball to the rmaid Princess, and when he did, a faint white light flashed from within, nearly undetectable but seen by the rmaid Princess.

Though she saw it, she didn’t ntion it. Taking the embroidery ball from Yuwen Qingkong, she said, "Today marks our wedding day, please accompany Qian’er to the Imperial Palace’s inner chamber."

Yuwen Qingkong’s mind whirled, feeling this was happening too fast. Without any ntal preparation, he stared blankly at the rmaid Princess before him.

The rmaid Princess wore a transparent veil, yet it was clear enough to reveal her face, a face one could never forget. Beautiful, indescribably so, and enough to make one’s heart race.

"Princess, I have so friends; could I invite them to join my wedding? This all happened so suddenly I haven’t had ti to prepare. I’d like to give them an unexpected surprise," Yuwen Qingkong said.

The rmaid Princess smiled and said, "Your friends are naturally my friends. It’s only right to invite them. Shall I accompany you?"

"No need, Princess. Your esteed personage should not be troubled. Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon!" Yuwen Qingkong said.

"Okay, go and co back quickly. I’ll be waiting for you here. But keep in mind, don’t even think about running away, the consequences will be very serious!" the rmaid Princess warned.

Yuwen Qingkong nodded and then flew down from the city wall to Chu Linfeng’s side. "This rmaid Princess wants

to marry her imdiately. What should I do?"

Chu Linfeng laughed, "This is great news! You must seize this opportunity well, my Golden Scale Treasure Robe will depend on you!"

Yuwen Qingkong was speechless, "Let’s go, let’s have ng Ji and the others co to what should have been your wedding!"
