"Okay!" said Wen Ziyu.

"Thank you, Uncle," Song Yafei said politely, standing up. She seed very well-behaved and had even worked a sumr job for Fang Zhen before.

Fang Zhen nodded and left the room.

His car needed gas, so he decided to head to a nearby gas station to fill up before returning.

'After spending so long in dungeons, taking a younger person like Wen Ziyu out for a stress-free al and a chat is a nice way to relax and decompress.'

He walked over to the elevators and didn't have to wait long before one ca up.

The elevator doors opened.

Fang Zhen saw a boy, around seventeen or eighteen, step out of the elevator in a cosplay costu.

The boy's hair was dyed white and spiked up. He was wearing a black outfit straight out of a Japanese manga, looking like he was cosplaying an ani character like Kakashi or Wutou Wu.

As he walked out, the boy was sending a voice ssage on his phone.

"I'm off to see the girls—I'm already at their hotel. Both of them want those pills. Gotta go, I'm almost there," the 'Kakashi' cosplayer said in a voice ssage.

Fang Zhen's eyebrows shot up.

'eting girls?'

'And they want pills?'

An imdiate sense of unease washed over him.

He didn't get on the elevator. Instead, he turned and watched the boy's retreating back.

The 'Kakashi' cosplayer headed straight down the hall. Judging by his direction, he was heading for the exact sa room where Wen Ziyu and Song Yafei were staying.

'Shit!'

Fang Zhen's anger flared, and he felt his blood pressure spike.

'No way.'

'It's not what I think it is, is it?'

'Wen Ziyu is such a sweet, well-behaved girl. An online romance?'

'With this white-haired punk?'

'And what kind of pills?'

'Are they the kind of pills I'm thinking of?'

News stories he'd seen flashed through Fang Zhen's mind—reports about this sort of thing happening among so high school and college students, among young people in general.

A murderous aura radiated from him.

Fang Zhen's expression turned grim.

The white-haired kid was clearly a high schooler, not even old enough to be in college.

If this kid really was here to deliver 'pills' like Fang Zhen suspected, he was prepared to cripple him on the spot. Then he'd drag out the organization behind him. Depending on the situation, he would either call the police or just wipe them out himself.

'Trying to ss with my people?'

'Don't they know I'm a sworn enemy of drugs and vice?'

And if Wen Ziyu really was that kind of girl, Fang Zhen decided he would teach her a lesson so harsh she'd never forget the pain for the rest of her life. Then he'd call her parents and chew them out, too.

Still, he couldn't be sure yet.

'I shouldn't jump to conclusions.'

Suppressing his murderous rage, Fang Zhen slowly turned and walked back.

The white-haired kid walked a little ways down the hall and, just as suspected, stopped right in front of the door to Wen Ziyu's suite.

For Fang Zhen, it was like pouring gasoline on a fire.

If it weren't for the security caras in the hallway, he would have killed the kid right then and there.

The white-haired kid must have ssaged Wen Ziyu ahead of ti, because the door opened right away.

"Hey, long ti no see!" the white-haired kid said, striking a pose at the doorway to greet Wen Ziyu.

Before Wen Ziyu could answer, she saw Fang Zhen approaching, his face a mask of displeasure.

Before Wen Ziyu could decide whether to greet the boy or speak to Fang Zhen, Fang Zhen's anger boiled over.

"The hell you 'hey'ing at!" He grabbed the kid by the scruff of his neck, shoved him into the room, and shut the door behind them.

He had calculated the angles perfectly. From the hotel security cara's point of view, it would just look like he was greeting the kid and following him into the room, with no sign of violence.

"Who the hell are you? Ow, let go!" the kid struggled.

To Fang Zhen, however, the boy's struggles were nothing.

Wen Ziyu was frozen in shock. Song Yafei ca out from the inner room as well, staring at the scene in astonishnt.

Once inside, Fang Zhen shoved the boy forward.

Freed from the neck hold, the white-haired kid turned around angrily and threw a punch at Fang Zhen.

Fang Zhen caught the kid's fist and gave it a slight squeeze.

"AAAAHHH! It's breaking!" the kid shrieked. Still trying to fight back, he aid a kick from below.

But Fang Zhen, as if he'd seen it coming a second early, had already kicked the boy in the stomach.

The boy's body lifted off the ground before he crashed down, forced into a kneeling position. Fang Zhen still had one of his hands in a vice grip, and the kid was in too much pain to stand.

"Bro, bro, I'm sorry! Don't hit ! I give up!" After one kick, the kid instantly folded.

"Un... Uncle," Wen Ziyu stamred, her face a mask of shock. "You're... you're terrifying."

She had never seen Fang Zhen like this before. She was so frightened she didn't dare to make a peep.

"Who is he? And why is he here?" Fang Zhen asked, turning his stern gaze to Wen Ziyu.

"He's Li Da, my old classmate. He transferred to a school here in Xiahai, and we made plans to go to an ani convention together tomorrow..." Wen Ziyu answered obediently.

"Hm?"

Fang Zhen was a little surprised. 'A classmate?'

"Explain yourself. What are these 'pills' you were talking about?" Fang Zhen asked, turning back to Li Da.

"Huh? Is that what this is about?" Li Da realized. "Bro, it's a misunderstanding! A relative of mine ca back from overseas and brought so dication that helps with focus."

"Wen Ziyu and Song Yafei have a Math Olympiad coming up in September. I ntioned it to them online, hoping to help them do better, so I brought a few tablets over for them."

"Hm?" Fang Zhen was taken aback.

"Here, this is it." Li Da fumbled in his clothes and pulled out a small acrylic pillbox, handing it to Fang Zhen.

"That's right, Uncle," Song Yafei chid in from the side. "Li Da ntioned in a chat that he'd give us so focus dication, so I sent him the hotel address. He was just dropping it off for us."

Fang Zhen's intuition told him Song Yafei wasn't lying.

Anyone else's intuition could be dismissed, but Fang Zhen's was highly reliable. He had Level 2 ticulousness.
