'My Source Power is at 20?' Fang Zhen was a little surprised.
'My Source Power started at 17 points. It went up by one when I learned about curse seals, and now I'm guessing it just rose by another two points from learning bone energy.'
Fang Zhen was starting to understand how to increase his Source Power.
He didn't need any special training. As long as he kept learning the power systems of new worlds and successfully converted them at least once, his Source Power would increase.
'Perhaps it's the principle of all streams returning to a single origin?'
Fang Zhen didn't understand the principle behind it, but knowing how to use it was enough.
In the future, whenever he went to a new world, he could make it one of his goals to collect the mainstream inherited power systems there. That way, he could continuously increase his Source Power.
He hovered his mouse over his 20 points of Source Power, wanting to see if there was an annotation.
'Since Source Power is listed under my basic attributes, then based on my previous theory, there should be a qualitative change at the 15 and 20-point thresholds. Source Power should be no exception.'
'I started with more than 15 points, so I wonder what kind of change 20 points of Source Power will bring?'
As Fang Zhen hovered his mouse over it, the details quickly appeared.
"You have beco more adept at using Source Power and have acquired a new technique: In any world, you can use Source Power to activate most marvels and items that require that world's special Extraordinary Power.
The conversion rate of Source Power into special powers is higher. Additionally, your natural Source Power recovery rate has increased by 1 point per hour."
Fang Zhen chuckled.
The use cases for Source Power had increased.
For instance, marvels that previously required Spiritual Power to activate could now be triggered with Source Power. Even marvels like 'Yingzhu' could be used without bone energy.
The Source Power recovery rate had also increased.
As had the conversion rate.
They were all quite practical. Fang Zhen was rather satisfied.
At this mont, another dialog box popped up on the computer screen.
"Detected: Character 'Fang Zhen' has cleared an Elite Realm background dungeon. New permissions unlocked.
The Dungeon Life Ga has unlocked the 'Essence Disassembly' and 'Essence Forging' functions.
A 'Disassemble' option has been added to the 'Appraisal' page. Extraordinary Items in your inventory recognized by the Dungeon Life Ga can be disassembled using rit Points. The sole product of disassembly is 'Essence'.
Essence: Disassembled Extraordinary Items form the basic Extraordinary Elent, 'Essence'. As a fundantal unit of Extraordinary Power, 'Essence' can be used to forge any Extraordinary or non-Extraordinary item."

When Fang Zhen saw the content on the screen, his eyes instantly lit up.
'Have the forging and upgrading functions finally been unlocked?'
He had thought about this before, but this module hadn't been available in the Dungeon Life Ga. His only option was to buy equipnt in the real world and then take it into the dungeon worlds to be forged and upgraded.
He had brainstord about this in the past, imagining things like upgrading his Alchemy Firearms or even creating Enchanted Bullets.
However, this was difficult to achieve. Asking an Alchemist to enchant bullets was unsafe; he'd worry about the gun's chamber exploding. Furthermore, carving an Enchantnt Array onto a bullet was an incredibly difficult task. Even if it were possible, the cost would be exorbitant.
The newly unlocked 'Essence Disassembly' and 'Essence Forging' functions could perfectly solve this problem.
As Fang Zhen understood it, Essence was like LEGO bricks for the Extraordinary World. Not just any bricks, but the most fundantal building blocks—or like the blocks in Minecraft.
As long as he had Essence, he could combine it into almost any new extraordinary substance.
The Forging Base didn't have to be an Extraordinary Item; real-world items and firearms would work just as well. All he needed to find were the Required Forging Materials and a blueprint.
He could pay a price, like a Gold-Touching Rope or sothing similar, to have an Alchemist draw up a blueprint.
'Looked at this way, the Required Forging Materials might not even be necessary, or at least they should be easy to acquire.'
With a blueprint, Alchemy Firearms and Enchanted Bullets were within reach.
After thinking it through, Fang Zhen laughed out loud.
His spear needed so modifications as well.
He had originally planned to take a spare spear to an Alchemist to see if an Alchemy Array could be applied—at the very least, a 'Fortify' array. But now, it seed he could just use the 'Essence Forging' function instead.
A sudden idea struck Fang Zhen.
'Does the complete Alchemist inheritance I traded for last ti count as a blueprint?'
He imdiately got up and found the parchnt scroll of the inheritance.
This was the Alchemist inheritance and set of diagrams he had acquired from Anlong, the Alchemist from the Curse Seal World. It was a yellowed, square-shaped parchnt book that recorded the complete inheritance, along with the mainstream diagrams of Anlong's school of alchemy.
After finding it, Fang Zhen eagerly opened the item appraisal page.
On this page, he discovered many newly registered items.
This included all the crystal bone spoils, the King's Sword, and the mysterious belt.
The 'Alchemist Inheritance', which hadn't appeared in his item inventory before, was now listed there as well.
Below the appraisal section, new panels for 'Essence Disassembly' and 'Essence Forging' had appeared.
Fang Zhen experinted a bit. The 'Alchemist Inheritance' parchnt scroll could be used directly as an item—much like the Yingzhu Crystal Bone, it could likely be solidified into a skill by spending rit Points.
Alternatively, it could be placed into the 'Essence Forging' section and used as a consumable 'Forging Blueprint' for crafting equipnt.
Furthermore, hovering the mouse over the 'Alchemist Inheritance' item icon revealed an additional annotation.
