The farr was just injured. In the heat of the mont, with adrenaline pumping, he might not have felt much. But looking at him now, the clothes on his chest were torn, as if slashed by an Abnormal Ghost's Bone Saber. It was a bloody ss, a serious wound.

Behind the farr, a young boy and girl who looked similar—likely a brother and sister—were speaking to him frantically, clearly at a loss for what to do.

Fang Zhen glanced at the pair of teenagers. They looked to be about sixteen or seventeen. The girl was around five-foot-three, while the boy was about five-foot-five.

The farr was about the sa height as the boy, and they were dressed similarly.

Fang Zhen took a closer look at the boy's face. His hair was pale blond, but his skin tone was closer to that of an East Asian.

Perhaps because of their youth, the boy and girl were quite good-looking. They had a lively spirit, with small faces and fine features, though their skin wasn't perfect, as both had freckles.

Seeing Fang Zhen approach on his bike, the boy and girl's eyes filled with gratitude, mixed with a bit of curiosity and fear.

Having already saved them, Fang Zhen decided to see it through. He stopped his bike, turned, and opened the side pocket of his backpack, taking out a roll of hemostatic gauze.

"Wrap his wound with this. It will stop the bleeding faster and prevent infection."

He tossed the hemostatic gauze to the boy.

The boy fumbled to catch the gauze and said nervously, "Thank you, sir. Thank you for saving us. We might not have survived without you."

"Stop the bleeding for the injured man first," Fang Zhen said.

'After the Redstone Town instance, I've confird it. My Mystical Linguistics and Glyphs talent is ridiculously powerful. I don't have to worry about my choice of words when I speak. Whether I use idioms or modern terms, the talent always finds a way to make the other person understand, and it even makes their speech conform to my own linguistic habits.'

The boy seed quite smart and quickly figured out how to use the hemostatic gauze. Flustered but more or less correctly, he began to bandage the farr lying on the ground.

After a flurry of clumsy activity, the farr's wound was bandaged with the hemostatic gauze. The wrapping was a bit ugly, but it was complete.

The farr's bleeding stopped.

"It's amazing! The bleeding stopped so quickly!" the boy exclaid in surprise.

"Of course," Fang Zhen said. "It's hemostatic gauze."

The gauze he carried was a relatively expensive type of hemostatic gauze he had bought, specifically designed to quickly stop bleeding and promote wound healing.

This type of gauze was biocompatible, aning it wouldn't cause allergies or rejection. It was also antibacterial, easy to use, and created a suitable healing environnt, reducing the chance of scarring.

Fang Zhen had chosen a cellulose-based hemostatic gauze, as well as one coated with thrombin. The effect was imdiate.

'This is a form of technological suppression, using advanced dical science.'

After marveling for a mont, the boy and girl looked at Fang Zhen with a hint of adoration in their eyes.

He was a skilled fighter, mysterious, powerful, and seed wealthy, carrying many strange and miraculous items they had never seen before.

On top of all that, he had saved them.

This combination of factors easily won over the hearts of the young boy and girl.

"My na is Lotte, and this is my sister, Emily. The man who's hurt is our uncle, William. We were on our way to Ellick Territory to deliver wheat when we ran into an Abnormal Ghost. Thanks to you, our lives were saved," the boy, Lotte, said.

Fang Zhen nodded slightly.

Just then, William, the badly injured farr who had lost consciousness, began to stir. His condition had improved slightly now that the bleeding was stopped, and he was regaining awareness.

"Thank you, sir... I feel terrible right now, so I can't express my full gratitude."

"I think... I need to see Master Gwendolyn if I want to make it out of this alive."

William said weakly.

"Master Gwendolyn, who Uncle William ntioned, is a good person. He lives in town and has his own house and yard. He can make all sorts of novel things. My sister and I both like him."

"Not only that, Master Gwendolyn can also treat illnesses. I heard he knows Alchemy, and sotis he even teaches

and the other kids a move or two of Swordsmanship!"

Lotte said.

"Master Gwendolyn has even more amazing skills! He knows Magic! I've seen him shoot fire from his hands!" Emily added loudly, not wanting her brother to say everything.

Fang Zhen raised an eyebrow slightly.

'Good at making tools, a skilled craftsman, knows combat skills.'

'And he knows Magic?'

'He sounds like a kind person, too.'

'That sounds like a perfect match.'

'Hearing all this, there's no way he isn't a mber of the Iron Whig Society.'

Fang Zhen's goal in coming to the 'Ancient Castle Caverns' instance was to make contact with mbers of the Whig Society, and through them, gain access to this world's Extraordinary Power: 'Cursed Seals.'

As an outsider, it wouldn't be easy for him to approach an underground resistance group opposing the current rulers of Ellick Territory. Seeking them out directly would be too blunt, especially since the Whig Society was a secret organization.

Now, the farr William seed to have a connection to this Master Gwendolyn.

Fang Zhen made a decision instantly.

"In for a penny, in for a pound. I'll go with you to Ellick Territory and help get your Uncle William to Master Gwendolyn," he said.

"Thank you so much! You're truly a kind and good person," Lotte said gratefully, his favorability toward Fang Zhen practically skyrocketing.

「Over half an hour later.」

「Ellick Territory.」

Fang Zhen arrived at the town ruled by the legendary Vampire Lord, who was said to have lived for two hundred years.

He was slightly surprised when he got there.

This town in the core area of Ellick Territory, while called a town, was actually closer in size to a small dieval city.

It was four or five tis larger than Redstone Town, with much more varied architecture. There were many buildings with pointed arches—perhaps churches or bell towers. This architectural style effectively distributed the building's weight, allowing for thinner walls and larger windows, which was particularly suitable for places like churches in areas with poor natural light.
