After tidying up, everyone was hungry. The suite had a small kitchen with a fridge, which was the feature Lin Feng appreciated the most. They could eat at the restaurant or order room service. After a brief discussion, everyone decided to go to the restaurant to see what was on the nu.
The restaurant occupied an entire floor, offering delicacies from around the world. The chefs were all highly-paid culinary masters, so the food was superb. Staff were on call twenty-four hours a day, following them discreetly and ready to appear whenever Lin Feng needed anything. The restaurant itself was just as magnificent as the rest of the hotel, radiating sheer opulence at every turn.
The arrival of the four quadruplets with their stunningly good-looking parents imdiately captured the attention of many other guests. The babies were overjoyed, chattering amongst themselves about the fish in the large tanks. They say having children is a blessing, and this mont certainly felt like one.
Soon, lunch was served, and the head chef was even brought out to their table. The burly man, nervous as a child, wanted to know if Lin Feng was satisfied.
Lin Feng took a bite and said with great satisfaction, "It's delicious!"
Only then did the large man breathe a sigh of relief before returning to his work in the kitchen.
After lunch, the babies were eager to play. There was more than enough snow outside for a snowball fight and building snown.
"Director Lin, we have a snow playground designed especially for children," a staff mber inford them. "Please, follow us."
In the hotel's backyard was a large playground, half of which was open-air while the other half was covered. The babies were ecstatic, imdiately dashing off to play.
Lin Feng turned to his wife. "Honey, you watch the babies. I'll go upstairs to get their water bottles and sweat towels."
"No need," Zhao Lizhen said, already heading off. "The rest of us want to go for a walk anyway. I'll go up and get their coats and bring everything down at the sa ti."
Lin Feng nodded. Looking at the staff mber who stood by like a bodyguard, he said, "You can go about your business."
After Lin Feng's firm refusal of a constant escort, the man gave him a special bracelet instead. This bracelet granted them free access to any part of the hotel, including the outdoor ski slopes and other recreational facilities, with no charges incurred.
Seeing the babies and Zhang Yuxi playing so happily, Lin Feng couldn't help but join in. Second Baby and Third Baby were quietly building a snowman, and Lin Feng sat down to help them. anwhile, First Baby and Fourth Baby were having a wild snowball fight with Zhang Yuxi, enjoying themselves imnsely.
Zhao Lizhen returned with a backpack. "The babies' water bottles are filled, and I've also brought cookies and sweat towels."
Lin Feng shouldered the backpack and went back to building the snowman with the children.
Pointing to a large snowball and a smaller one, Lin Feng asked, "A snowman has eyes, a nose, and a mouth, right?"
Second Baby pointed at the snowballs and declared, "It needs branches for arms!"
Third Baby added, "And a scarf!"
Determined to build the perfect snowman, Lin Feng went to the kitchen and returned with a carrot and two blueberries. Alright, it's a snowman with small eyes, but it's a good start. There were no branches to be found, as the grounds were kept impeccably clean. So, Lin Feng found a pair of chopsticks.
The result was a chubby snowman with small eyes and tiny chopstick hands. This snowman is really ugly, Lin Feng thought.
But Second Baby and Third Baby were absolutely delighted and decided to build another, smaller snowman to be its baby. Perhaps in the eyes of a child, concepts like "beautiful" and "ugly" aren't fixed yet; there is only "like" and "dislike."
With Lin Feng's help, the two children quickly built another small snowman. Lin Feng went back to the kitchen for another carrot.
He then negotiated with them, "Babies, once we're done building the snown and playing, we'll return the carrots, okay?"
The two well-behaved children agreed without any objection.
Zhang Yuxi ca over. "Wow, you all have to co see the little snowman! It's aweso!"
First Baby and Fourth Baby ran over, panting from their ga, their little cheeks flushed bright red. Lin Feng handed them their water bottles and tucked sweat towels into the backs of their shirts to absorb the moisture.
After they had rested, the quadruplets ca to a unanimous decision: they were going to build snown representing all six mbers of their family.
Before long, a line of uneven snown stood proudly in the snow.
Lin Feng asked with a smile, "Babies, aren't you going to introduce them to us?"
Pointing to the biggest snowman, they began. "This one is Daddy, this one is Mommy…"
First Baby pointed to a roly-poly snowman. "This one is !"
Second Baby's snowman was lopsided. Clapping their hands, they giggled and said, "This is …" Just as they finished speaking, its head fell to the ground with a soft thud. Second Baby's smile froze, their face instantly crumpling as tears welled up.
Zhang Yuxi quickly placed the head back on, and this ti it stood straight and sturdy, no longer wonky.
Then ca Fourth Baby's snowman, which was, by all accounts, the ugliest of the bunch. Why? Because he had a fiery, boisterous personality, and his approach to building a snowman was just as haphazard. Ugly as it was, Fourth Baby thought it looked just like him and was perfectly happy with it.
Third Baby's was the most beautiful. Lin Feng noticed that Third Baby was a bit of a perfectionist. The snowballs had to be perfectly round and free of any dirt. The eyes had to be placed just right, not positioned randomly. As a result, Third Baby's snowman was the best-looking one.
"Co on, let's take a picture to rember this!"
After capturing the happy, heartwarming mont, Lin Feng collected the carrots and returned them to the kitchen, where the staff, now aware of his identity, were extrely flattered by his consideration.
Later, back in the restaurant, the children sat eating milk pudding, each with an expression of pure contentnt that made the couple smile.
"Alright, it's ti for our nap," Zhang Yuxi announced.
She led the children back to their room, but as soon as they entered, they stopped in front of the fish tank, refusing to move.
"Five minutes. I'm only giving you five minutes, okay?"
The babies happily agreed. After five minutes, they were lying in bed, still chattering away nonstop. But before long, without any need for supervision, they all fell asleep, completely exhausted from their fun-filled day.
After such an eventful day, Zhang Yuxi lay down on the tatami mat by the window, gazing at the scenery.
Lin Feng sat down next to her. "Yuxi…"
Every ti Lin Feng used that tone, Zhang Yuxi got a bad feeling.
"Look, the view here is beautiful, isn't it?"
"Yes, it is…" she stamred. "You… you need to behave yourself!"
Lin Feng raised an eyebrow. "How am I not behaving?"
Zhang Yuxi grabbed his wandering hand. "Stop! Stop it!"
But stopping was out of the question.
There, in front of the massive floor-to-ceiling window, Lin Feng embraced Zhang Yuxi from behind, and they beca intimately acquainted.
