Chapter 341: Chapter 341: War of Hulks (7)

[Third person POV]

"Everyone brace yourselves!!" Peter shouted, voice strained with urgency as the Hulk rose to his full towering height, both fists raised high into the air like hamrs.

Before anyone had ti to question what Peter ant, the Hulk unleashed a deafening roar that shook the air itself. Then, with an earth-shattering force, he slamd both fists into the ground.

The effect was instantaneous.

The earth didn’t just crack—it exploded outward in a pattern like a spider’s web, a shockwave of unimaginable force rippling through the ground in all directions. Fissures ripped open violently, racing across the grass field with terrifying speed. Hulk stood at the epicenter, the ground quaked and groaned, straining beneath the seismic pressure he had summoned.

Then ca the collapse.

The entire battlefield gave way beneath them. The grassy terrain splintered and fell apart as massive chasms tore through the earth like jagged jaws, opening wide to swallow everything above. Trees, boulders, machines, even the combatants themselves—all of it tumbled into the newly born abyss. Dirt and debris rained from above as the landscape was reduced to a vertical nightmare of falling bodies and screaming air.

Even Red Hulk, having recovered from Gwen’s earlier strike and just about to leap toward her, was caught off guard. The ground disappeared under him, and gravity claid him without rcy.

Gwen shot a webline and propelled herself toward him, flipping mid-air to switch their positions, her legs locking around his torso. At the sa ti, Lizzy dove like a missile toward them, angling her body downward with precision.

Below, the battle continued in the chaos of freefall.

Nightwing was locked atop Red She-Hulk’s torso. He gritted his teeth and slamd his electrified baton again and again across her jaw. Each strike sent sparks flying, electricity crackling along her enhanced skin with every brutal blow. But even falling, she was dangerous.

She started descending faster, twisting midair as she aid the plasma weapon at him and let loose a relentless barrage.

Nightwing corkscrewed through the air, dodging every blast with aerial acrobatics honed to perfection. The shots shattered chunks of falling rubble all around him. His face hardened as he narrowed his eyes, tucked his arms in tight, and dove with increasing velocity, chasing her down.

Not far below, Felicia clung to She-Hulk’s back, her arms locked in a chokehold around the gamma-powered woman’s neck. She gritted her teeth, a snarl on her lips as she held tight through the violent descent.

Hovering just above them was MJ, arms extended, her eyes glowing with psychic energy. Around her fists, massive translucent pink constructs shaped like monstrous arms shimred. With a fierce battle cry, she drove punch after punch into She-Hulk’s stomach. Each impact sounded like a jackhamr against steel, the psionic blows hamring her again and again.

She-Hulk growled in pain and fury, flailing to reach the clawed Felicia still choking her from behind, even as MJ continued her aerial assault.

Slightly higher in the air, Gwen and Lizzy were synchronized. They blurred around Red Hulk in a violent mid-air ballet, trading off attacks. Gwen struck with a spinning kick, flipping away as Lizzy blasted in with a powered dropkick that sent Red Hulk tumbling downward. Before he could recover, Gwen was there again, her punch whipping his head sideways with brutal grace.

All around them, broken humanoids—damaged from the earlier battle—tumbled alongside splintered trees, shattered boulders, and fragnts of tal and earth.

And in the very center of it all, falling with arms crossed over his chest, was Peter.

Above him, the Hulk descended like a teor, his rage undiminished. He drove his fists downward repeatedly, hamring at Peter with earth-cracking strength. Each blow struck Peter’s arms with cataclysmic force—blows that could flatten mountains and leave craters in cities.

Peter’s suit, designed for the impossible, absorbed the kinetic energy with every punch. It shimred with stored force, releasing shockwaves into the air that rippled across the collapsing cavern walls. The residual energy created jagged cracks in the surrounding stone, evidence of the overwhelming power being exchanged mid-air.

But even Peter’s suit, no matter how advanced, had its limits.

He felt the pressure building—each punch leaving bruises even beneath the armor, his muscles crying out from the strain. The Hulk wasn’t letting up, and the montum drove them both faster and harder toward the earth below.

And then—they hit bottom.

They landed in a colossal underground cavern. Vast pools of molten lava bubbled and hissed across the rocky floor, casting an ominous red and orange glow that danced along jagged stone pillars. Fissures belched steam into the air, and the whole cavern trembled under the weight of the battle crashing into it.

Most of the rubble and humanoid remains tumbled into the lava, lting on contact with sickening sizzles and plus of toxic steam.

She-Hulk sohow managed to land on her feet, her sheer mass cracking the stone below her. Steam hissed violently around her feet as she stood her ground despite the unbearable heat.

Red She-Hulk landed roughly on her back, only for Nightwing to kick off her at the last second, flipping away into a defensive crouch.

And Peter—just before smashing into the cavern floor—opened a quick-reacting portal behind him and reappeared above the Hulk’s back. He twisted mid-air, slamd into the green giant’s shoulders, and drove them both into a tumbling crash across the molten-rock ground.

Peter nearly slipped into the lava, his feet skidding dangerously close to the glowing edge. Heat surged through the thin seams in his suit, licking at his skin as he flailed backward.

"Hot! HOT!" he yelped, waving his arms wildly before slamming his feet down and sticking himself to the ground with a sharp thwip of webbing. He ca to a shaky stop, chest heaving.

"Safe!" he announced, throwing both arms out like an umpire.

A second later, Red Hulk plumted straight into the lava behind him with a massive SPLASH-BOOM that sent molten rock bursting upward in a towering plu of magma and steam.

Hovering above the bubbling pool, Gwen extended her hand. Lizzy grabbed it, and the two of them stabilized mid-air, floating together with the heat rising beneath them.

"He’s... still alive, right?" Gwen asked cautiously, peering down into the magma cloud.

"I an, he’s a fire type," Lizzy replied hesitantly. "So he should be resistant to that kind of thing, right?"

"A fire type?" Gwen turned toward her with a raised brow. "Like Pokémon?"

"I like morning cartoons. So what?" Lizzy said flatly. "Don’t judge ,"

"No judgnt. I’m just a little surprised, that’s all." Gwen raised one hand defensively, clearly trying not to smile.

"You two," Peter cut in through the mind link, voice dry, "as much as I love and deeply appreciate our team bonding monts, please focus on the angry lava monster beneath you."

Right on cue, the pool below erupted with a violent burst of magma. Red Hulk launched out of it, lava cascading off his body like water from a shower. He landed hard on the cavern floor with a rumbling quake, steam and molten rock hissing beneath his feet. Lava still dripping from his skin, he casually slicked back his black hair and spat a glob of magma onto the stone.

Then he grinned.

"Fuck..." Gwen and Lizzy muttered in unison.

anwhile, across the cavern, Felicia was slamd back-first into the wall. She-Hulk had ramd her full-force, pinning her like a battering ram. With a savage growl, She-Hulk grabbed Felicia by the collar, tore her from her back, and slamd her head into the wall again and again. Cracks spiderwebbed out with each impact, loose chunks of stone crumbling from above.

MJ moved fast. With a sharp cry, she dove in and kicked the back of She-Hulk’s leg, forcing her into a staggered kneel. As She-Hulk shifted, MJ grabbed the arm that held Felicia and conjured bracers of glowing psychic construct around her hands. They expanded like prying tools, forcing She-Hulk’s grip open and yanking Felicia free.

"Ugh! This is seriously the worst day ever!!" Felicia groaned, spinning as soon as she hit the ground. With a growl of frustration, she headbutted She-Hulk full-force in the face.

BOOM.

A small shockwave exploded from the impact, blasting dust and debris in every direction. Blood sprayed from Jennifer’s nose as her head jerked back from the blow.

Felicia and MJ didn’t stop. The two of them weaved and jumped around the gamma-powered warrior, ducking under punches, flipping over grabs, and countering with relentless strikes. She-Hulk roared in fury, flailing and charging, but the pair stayed just ahead of her reach.

Around the cavern, the others were reengaging with their respective opponents.
