Chapter 328: Chapter 328: Kraven’s War (10)

[Third person POV]

As Peter sat perched confidently atop the fallen crane, striking a poised silhouette against the skyline, he gazed down at the bustling citizens below who were taking pictures. Suddenly, a sharp jolt ran through his nerves—his Spidey-sense flared to life, cutting through the mont like a blade. The world around him slowed to a crawl, colors fading into a near monochro haze. It was as if ti itself had been suspended.

Behind him, he could feel them—Harry and Lizzy—rushing toward him through the air. Their energies were unmistakable, building like compressed storms, gathering power in waves that left the air buzzing. Peter didn’t need to turn around; he sensed every pulse of energy they were charging, every fluctuation in the atmosphere behind them.

In this frozen grayscale world, Peter’s breathing remained calm and deliberate. He inhaled deeply through his nose and exhaled smoothly from his mouth. With precision, he pointed his index and middle fingers downward and gripped his wrist firmly. From the tip of his middle finger, a small orb of chi began to form—pulsing, glowing, swirling with deep electric-blue energy. Arcs of electricity rippled and danced across its surface, illuminating his face in flickering light.

Then, Peter took a step back, positioning himself at the edge of the crane, and without hesitation, he fell backwards in a graceful freefall.

A shimring portal sparked to life behind him just in ti, swallowing his falling body. Instantly, he erged upside down from another portal, this one opening far to Harry and Lizzy’s left. Peter fell silently, the orb of chi still burning between his fingers, now aid squarely in their direction. The stillness of the mont amplified his whisper:

"Throughout Heaven and Earth... I alone am the honored one."

Without another word, Peter unleashed the orb.

The force of the blast propelled him backward through the air as the sphere roared forth, tearing across the sky with the sharp snap of a thunderclap. A crackling trail of blue energy followed behind like a cot streaking through the clouds.

The orb struck Harry first, slamming directly into the right side of his suit—right over the liver. The vibranium plating, despite its reputation, could not withstand the sheer force and concentrated kinetic power. The suit caved in and shattered, the chi burst piercing through Harry’s body with brutal precision.

The blast didn’t stop there.

It exited from Harry’s back like a railgun shot and barreled toward Lizzy, catching her just as she was raising her hand. The blast punctured through her shoulder with a sickening burst and then continued skyward, soaring through the clouds like a divine judgnt.

Blood erupted from their wounds in grueso sprays. Lizzy scread in pain, her voice slicing through the still air like a siren. "ARGHH!!" she cried, her body thrown backward by the impact. Harry, though wounded, rely grunted—he had endured worse—but pain was etched across his face.

The energy Lizzy had been charging in her palm—a glowing orb of fiery devastation—was released unintentionally. The resulting explosion erupted in a sweeping wave of fla, catching Harry in the blast.

Surrounded by fire, Harry shot across the sky like a demon ablaze, riding his hoverboard with flas licking at his armor and skin. The fire scorched his body, leaving his skin badly burned and his movents erratic. Lizzy, protected by her own fire-resistant powers, remained mostly unhard—but stunned.

anwhile, Peter was already in motion again, swinging through the chaos with flawless grace, his every movent calculated. He weaved around them, guiding their eyes with feints and flashes before disappearing behind them.

When they turned, he stood there with a mischievous grin, arms slightly raised.

"You know what they say when there’s fire," Peter said cheekily, "Stop, tuck, and roll!"

In a flash, he curled his body into a ball and rolled forward through the air—just as Gwen ca soaring in behind him. With her hand outstretched, she unleashed a devastating blizzard from her palm, missing Peter by re inches.

The storm of ice and wind slamd into Lizzy and Harry like a wintry tidal wave, freezing the very air around them. Ice ford rapidly, encasing Lizzy in a thick layer of frost while Harry’s flas hissed in protest against the cold.

Peter rolled midair and dropped into another glowing portal, reappearing behind Gwen in the blink of an eye. He planted both feet against her back and, with a blast of repulsive force, launched her like a missile.

Gwen flew forward, smashing into the frozen Lizzy, cracking the ice and sending both of them tumbling.

Reality behind Lizzy shimred and then fractured like glass as Peter hurled both Gwen and Lizzy backward—straight into the mirror dinsion.

"Ti you both reflect on your actions!" Peter shouted dramatically. Then, with a snort and a grin, he added, "Ha! Get it? Reflect? Since you’re in the mirror dinsion? Ahh man, I crack myself up."

He didn’t give them ti to groan.

Peter shot a webline toward Harry and yanked himself forward, tackling his flaming and frozen friend midair. The two of them spiraled downward and crashed onto a nearby rooftop. Harry’s hoverboard, stressed from the sudden changes in temperature, shattered into pieces. The residual ice on his body fractured and exploded, his suit now brittle and useless.

He tumbled hard across the rooftop, finally slamming into a tal ventilation unit with a sickening crunch.

Harry let out a guttural growl as he pushed himself up from the rooftop, rage flaring in his eyes. Without hesitation, he charged at Peter with wild, unrestrained fury. His movents were erratic, beast-like—more instinct than precision. With a deafening roar, he swung his fist toward Peter’s head, aiming to take it clean off.

Peter reacted in a blur. He diverted the force of the blow just enough to prevent serious damage to the rooftop beneath them. He didn’t want innocent people to be affected by the collateral damage, even in the heat of battle.

The clash ignited instantly. The two of them launched into a ferocious martial arts exchange, fists and kicks flying in rapid succession. Peter’s movents were fluid, economical, and precise—every action calculated. Harry’s, on the other hand, were wild, powerful, and unpredictable. It was raw instinct versus refined technique.

Their limbs blurred as they struck, blocked, countered, and evaded, both trying to find the upper hand through sheer will and sharpened reflexes.

Suddenly, Harry launched a high roundhouse kick toward Peter’s head. Peter raised a forearm, absorbing the impact effortlessly. At the sa mont, his other hand extended to the side of him at a perfect angle—CLANG—intercepting a dagger aid at his ribs.

Kraven the Hunter materialized in front of him, having lunged forward with deadly intent. His dagger now wedged between Peter’s fingers, just shy of piercing his armor.

Peter looked unfazed.

"Oh, hey Kraven," Peter quipped, gripping the assassin’s wrist tightly, "You’re late to the party. Didn’t bring snacks either."

Without giving them a chance to regroup, Peter began fending off both attackers simultaneously. His body twisted and spun with almost supernatural agility as he parried Harry’s savage strikes and redirected Kraven’s lethal blades. The three of them moved like a chaotic dance, Peter weaving between them with the grace of an acrobat.

"You know," Peter said between movents, ducking under Harry’s punch while spinning Kraven’s arm behind his back, "I’d say two-on-one isn’t fair. But let’s be honest..."

He elbowed Kraven sharply in the spine, making the hunter stagger and dropped to his knees.

"...you’re losing."

Harry lunged again, both fists flying. Peter caught them effortlessly, locking them in place. In response, two chi constructed arms sprouted from his back. They slamd into Harry’s torso with machine-like precision. Crack. Crack. Crack. Each hit aid for a weak point in his already-battered suit. Vibranium plates began to splinter and fall off.

"And while I do give points for creativity," Peter added, leaping over Kraven’s low tackle and landing with feline grace behind him, "using my friends against

Or planning to use

against everyone else? That was clever. Diabolical, even. But you fail to consider sothing"

Kraven snarled and pivoted to strike, "Oh yeah? And what exactly did we fail to consider?"

Peter was already in front of him, grinning.

"That I’m Spider-Man."

Kraven’s eyes widened. He slashed wildly with his daggers, but Peter ducked low, then sprang up again like a spring.

"You never had a chance to begin with," Peter said with a singsong tone.

And before Kraven could react, Peter reached down and yanked his pants down in one fluid tug.

Kraven blinked in disbelief as his trousers hit the ground, revealing a pair of clean white boxers with pink heart patterns. "Wha—!"

Peter was already flipping over him with a laugh. "Nice taste in underwear. Very hunter-chic."

Before Kraven could pull his pants back up, Peter planted a foot on his back and kicked—sending the hunter tumbling forward. Kraven tripped over his own pants and face-planted onto the rooftop in the most unceremonious way imaginable.

"Ten out of ten for style!" Peter shouted as Kraven groaned on the ground.

Peter turned just in ti to block Harry’s next strike. He swatted away knee after elbow, fist after kick, each ti jabbing his knuckles—now glowing faintly with chi—into the gaps in Harry’s armor. He was striking pressure points with surgical accuracy.

One, two, three, four... on the fifth precise jab, Harry stiffened mid-swing.

His eyes widened.

His body froze.

Peter stepped back, watching as Harry’s muscles locked up, his limbs paralyzed. He could still breathe, still see—but his body refused to respond.

"Sorry, Robin" Peter said, his tone softer now. "But this fight’s over."

He raised a leg and kicked Harry squarely in the chest, sending him flying backward. A portal opened midair—glowing with shimring energy—and Harry vanished into it.

’Aria, he’s coming in hot. Make sure to look after him’ Peter ntally relayed the ssage. He trusted her to handle the rest.

Back on the rooftop, Kraven finally managed to get back on his feet, pulling his pants up with a furious scowl. Humiliation radiated from him in waves. His eyes locked onto Peter, filled with venom and burning embarrassnt.

Peter crossed his arms, unimpressed. "Look on the bright side, Kravey. At least now everyone knows you wear your heart on your... boxers."
