He crashed through one massive rock after another.

The sound of destruction echoed continuously behind him.

His body finally bounced across the ground repeatedly before slamming hard into a hill, causing the entire surface to crack apart violently.

Dust erupted everywhere.

Silence lasted briefly.

Maxwell barely raised his arms—

Boom!

A kick slamd into his guard.

The force traveled through both arms instantly, making the bones inside tremble painfully before his body smashed deeper into the hill.

Rock exploded outward.

Maxwell coughed hard again.

Blood dripped down his chin continuously now.

His vision blurred slightly.

Fast...

His thoughts trembled.

Too fast...

Borzoi looked down at him with glowing red eyes.

The steam erupting from his body had grown thicker now, covering parts of him like burning smoke. Veins pulsed violently beneath his skin while the muscles of his remaining arm looked as though they were constantly twitching from overflowing power.

"You powered up too."

His voice sounded rougher now.

"But this..."

A savage grin appeared across his face.

"...is different."

Boom!

His fist ca down.

Maxwell rolled barely in ti.

The hill behind him exploded apart completely.

Huge chunks of rock flew through the air.

His body flew sideways before another strike imdiately followed.

A shoulder slam.

Boom!

Then a kick.

Boom!

Then another punch.

Inside his mind—

His master beca alard.

This is bad.

This is very bad.

Maxwell grit his teeth while forcing himself upright.

"I noticed!"

He barely managed to raise his glowing arm before Borzoi’s fist collided against it again.

Boom!

The impact launched Maxwell backward once more.

His feet dug desperately against the earth while long cracks spread behind him from the pressure alone.

Borzoi did not stop.

He chased imdiately.

His speed had reached another level entirely.

The third phase of Berserk Mode transford him into sothing terrifying, sothing far beyond the already monstrous warrior from earlier.

He appeared directly beside Maxwell.

Maxwell’s eyes widened.

"Too slow."

Boom!

Borzoi slamd him directly into the ground.

The earth shattered violently.

Before Maxwell could recover, Borzoi grabbed him again and hurled him upward into the sky.

Maxwell spun uncontrollably.

Waiting.

Grinning.

"You’re tougher than before."

He cracked his neck slowly.

"But compared to Young Warchief..."

His eyes glead with excitent.

"...you still feel weak."

Boom!

Then—

A red figure walked out.

Still holding Maxwell’s throat.

Borzoi’s grin widened.

"That anti magic..."

Maxwell’s master spoke imdiately inside his head.

Your spells are losing effectiveness because his body is interfering with the mana itself.

Maxwell struggled against Borzoi’s grip.

Then what am I supposed to do?!

His master stayed silent briefly.

Then—

Survive.

Boom!

Borzoi slamd Maxwell back into the ground again.

The impact nearly knocked Maxwell unconscious.

His ears rang heavily.

His vision blurred harder.

Punches made from concentrated light erupted toward Borzoi repeatedly.

Boom!

Boom!

Borzoi grabbed his leg afterward.

Then swung him violently across the battlefield.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Maxwell’s body repeatedly crashed against the earth like a rag doll, each collision creating another crater.

Finally Borzoi hurled him into the remains of a massive tree.

The entire thing exploded apart.

Maxwell fell to one knee afterward, coughing blood nonstop.

His glowing aura flickered more heavily now.

His breathing beca uneven.

Borzoi slowly approached him.

Step.

Step.

The earth cracked beneath each footstep.

"You know..."

He spoke while rolling his shoulder.

"I almost died earlier because I underestimated soone."

His red eyes stared directly at Maxwell.

"And I realized sothing."

He grinned again.

"This continent isn’t normal."

Steam poured heavily from his body now.

"So I won’t make that mistake twice."

The next instant—

Maxwell tried to stand again.

Then Borzoi’s fist smashed directly into his face once more.
