Chapter 81: Chapter 81: Take Another Look and You’ll Find Sothing New

Huang Yi then realized he had forgotten to hide the glow of his equipnt when he first appeared, making him instantly noticeable and attracting the attention of many. Not wanting to beco a spectacle, he quickly teleported to the Tower of Pantheons to avoid the onlookers.

After reappearing in the Tower of Pantheons, Huang Yi imdiately hid the glimr of his suit and then activated the Eye of Ti.

The next mont, a look of surprise crossed his face!

He saw 5 pieces of Blue Gear!

Each of the five bosses here dropped one piece of Blue Gear. Aside from that, everything else was Green Gear, without a single piece of Whiteboard Equipnt!

This was completely abnormal! It had never happened before!

Spending a day fighting in the Tower of Pantheons and seeing one piece of Blue Gear was considered extrely lucky, yet here there were five pieces all at once! More abnormal was the absence of Whiteboard Equipnt; the lowest tier of equipnt was Green Gear! It was as if a BUG had suddenly occurred, increasing the drop rate substantially and leading to a surplus of Blue and Green Gear!

However, this was the Second World created by the Era of Corporation; it was impossible for a BUG to exist. Even if there was a BUG, it couldn’t remain hidden from a hundred million players and would have been discovered long ago!

Suddenly, Huang Yi seed to rember sothing and imdiately checked his current level.

Then, he understood the reason. He had teleported to the wrong place; this was the 20th floor!

He had not paid attention when teleporting earlier and accidentally chose the wrong floor.

Being only at level 24, the drop rate for monsters on the 20th floor was very high, hence the five pieces of Blue Gear. However, he could only look on helplessly, unable to claim them.

This was a level he simply could not defeat. No player in the world could beat the 20th floor at level 24! Even high-end players could only handle dungeons about 10 levels below their own, such as a level 24 player taking on the 14th floor, which was currently the limit for high-end players! Unless one possessed Legendary Gear, crossing this line was impossible!

Huang Yi stepped forward and tested the strength of the local mobs. Indeed, they were formidable; a single attack took away a fifth of his Health Points! Yet, dealing with the mobs proved to be troubleso; they were tough and resilient. With his high Attack, it took a full five hits to kill one!

If even regular mobs were this strong, and in places ca in groups, it was impossible to kill them one by one. Attacking one would attract a swarm, which for Huang Yi, was unquestionably a death wish, and these were only the mobs, not the bosses!

Huang Yi felt a tinge of regret. If he had a piece of Legendary Equipnt, he might attempt this level, but now he had no choice but to leave.

Huang Yi imdiately chose to depart. In the last mont before leaving, a trace of sothing flashed in his eyes, sothing that seed to be an inconspicuous piece of Green Gear that he had noticed inadvertently. Subconsciously, he paused for a mont.

The next second, he was teleported out, without a clear view of the Green Gear.

Huang Yi reappeared in the square of Thornbush City, ready to reset, but the image of that Green Gear lingered in his mind. It seed different sohow, yet he couldn’t specify how; it was just a fleeting, blurry impression that failed to form a concrete mory.

There Huang Yi stood among the crowd, motionless, hesitating to reset.

After three seconds, he made a decision. He did not reset, but instead teleported back to that sa room.

Once you leave a room without choosing to reset, you can still return through the Teleportation Circle, and it only refreshes after a period of ti. The refresh ti for a solo room is 24 hours, aning that as long as he didn’t reset within a day, he could return to that room anyti; after a day, the room would no longer exist as the system refreshed it, and he could only be teleported to a brand-new room.

Upon returning to that floor, Huang Yi used so Energy Value to activate the Eye of Ti again, inspecting the loot that would drop upon the bosses’ deaths this ti.

The reason he paid such a steep price was purely to get a clear view of the Green Gear that had caught his subconscious attention just before he exited.

Oftentis, taking a second look could lead to different discoveries.

Huang Yi’s eyes carefully scanned every piece of loot that was to drop, observing each piece of Green Gear.

The first boss dropped only one piece of Blue Gear and one material, which Huang Yi passed over and looked towards the second boss’s drops.

The second boss would drop a piece of Blue Armor, a Green Belt, and a Green Ring upon its death.

Huang Yi ignored the Blue Armor and focused on the two pieces of Green Gear.

The Green Belt was unremarkable and quickly dismissed by Huang Yi, who then turned his attention to the Green Ring.

When he saw the na of the ring, his eyelids twitched!

In that mont, it seed as though the Tower of Pantheons itself shuddered!

Then, Huang Yi slowly closed his eyes. In this isolated labyrinth, he stood still, the corners of his mouth curling slightly upwards.

At that instant, no one knew that in one of the countless rooms of the Tower of Pantheons, a man stood smiling because of a piece of Green Gear.

Of course, if they could see the na of this Green Gear, they would understand why Huang Yi was smiling. In fact, their reaction would be even more exaggerated, unabashed, and they might even scream wildly, losing all sense of reason!

That’s because this Green Gear was the Overlord’s Pact Storage Ring, a legendary piece of Green Gear that many had tried and failed to acquire—a near-legendary piece of Green Gear that had eluded many!

This elusive piece of equipnt had appeared on the 20th floor. At level 24, Huang Yi had entered, and the drop rate had surged geotrically, so this piece of Green Gear with an extrely low drop rate luckily erged amidst this high drop rate!

After a while, Huang Yi took a deep breath, opened his eyes, and stared blankly at one spot, his gaze gradually losing focus as he fell into deep thought.

Whenever he did this, it ant that he was about to delve into profound contemplation, and each ti, he would co to an important decision.

The last ti he did this, he was in the Heroes’ Prison working on a Rare Quest when he stared motionlessly at the floor of the Realgar Stone Chamber for a long ti. The result of that contemplation was his defeat of the Hydra Death Scales, setting a new world record.

Ten minutes later, Huang Yi’s gaze refocused, and he ca back to his senses. He had finally made a decision—

No matter what, he had to obtain that ring!

This ant he had to defeat the second boss of the 20th floor before the system reset!

And the ti left was 24 hours!
