Chapter 29: Chapter 29: Never Peaceful

Huang Yi, along with Little White Cat, began to search the area. The trees nearby had all been destroyed by the mother cat’s sacrifice, leaving the area wide open with nowhere to conceal anything. Huang Yi searched carefully.

Soon, Huang Yi had finished searching the region, but he did not find any trace of the mother cat!

Had the mother cat truly died? Not even a single bone or strand of hair left behind?

Just then, the dazzling starry sky suddenly darkened!

Imdiately after, several large ripples flashed across the night sky!

These ripples were incredibly vast and spectacular, spreading across the entire sky, obscuring the sun, moon, and stars, and shrouding the forest in complete darkness!

Huang Yi and Little White Cat were both startled, unsure of what catastrophe had occurred. Huang Yi firmly protected Little White Cat in his arms, looking up at the night sky with wariness.

Gradually, the ripples in the night sky grew denser, like ink-stained clouds rolling incessantly, forming into a massive vortex! The scene was terrifying to the extre, like an ocean overturned in the sky, its endless oppression pouring down as if it would destroy the world.

The next mont, out of the black hole at the center of the vortex, a huge head suddenly extended!

This was an extrely bizarre beast’s head, with majestic horns and emanating an aura of a primal universe, looking down upon all living beings as if it had transcended the category of life forms, exuding a divine presence – even the legendary giant dragons paled in comparison to a re fraction of its grandeur!

If Huang Yi were to be considered the King of Ten Thousand Beasts, then this head would be the Beast God, the gap between them incalculable.

It gazed down upon the world, looking left and right with eyes as large as stars scanning back and forth, searching for sothing.

It seed as though it had heard so call from within the Heaven Realm, tearing through the void with its head to peer into this world.

Suddenly, the imnse head caught sight of Huang Yi and Little White Cat, and its gaze abruptly paused!

It actually gave a human-like start of surprise!

Then its expression softened, a trace of affection crossing its features, lighting up the entire night sky, and showering down endless warmth.

Next, from its eyes shot a beam of red light, landing in front of Huang Yi and casting the small shadow of a head.

"My child!" The shadow of the head spoke the next mont.

Huang Yi and Little White Cat were both shocked, staring incredulously at the head!

"Are you... Mother?" Huang Yi asked hesitantly.

"No." The head gave Huang Yi a tender look, "I am your father."

"What?" Huang Yi was taken aback!

He had never imagined he had a father from the mont he was born!

"Did you never wonder, how a re ordinary Spirit Cat could give birth to you, the King of Ten Thousand Beasts?" the Beast God spoke gently, his tone still brimming with endless affection.

Huang Yi indeed had never considered this question before; he had thought it was a system setup that the mother cat had given birth to him, not realizing that there was actually a story behind his birth.

"You are the Beast King, and your sister is the Beast Spirit. Both of your bloodlines are supre, and only I, the Beast God, could sow such an excellent lineage!" The head looked affectionately at Huang Yi and the Little White Cat in his arms. Little White Cat was also looking curiously at the head with wide eyes.

"Then what about my mother? Is she dead?" Huang Yi hurriedly asked, his heart hanging in suspense.

"Yes, she is dead," the Beast God nodded with a gentle gaze, showing no change in expression as if death were no difficult matter in his eyes.

"Then why didn’t you co earlier? With your power, you could completely shatter this world! Saving her would have been more than possible!" Huang Yi challenged.

"No, I cannot act in this world due to the rules of the world! The power of a god cannot directly interfere with this world, not just , even the God of Ti, God of Space, Death God, God of Life, these great beings cannot overstep this rule."

"ow~wah~ow~" At that mont, Little White Cat, who had just managed to stop crying, welled up with tears again, crying loudly.

"Child, do not cry, death is not a problem, gods transcend life and death, after all!" Hearing Little White Cat’s loud cries, a soft light flashed in the Beast God’s eyes. He turned to look towards the place where the mother cat had self-destructed and called gently, "Co back!"

Upon these words, specks of white light suddenly materialized within the surrounding emptiness, identical to the white light emitted during the mother cat’s sacrifice!

Then these specks of light converged from all directions, finally coalescing to form a white cat, full of life and spirit – it was indisputably the mother cat!

The mother cat opened her eyes, looked around at the world, and soon saw the Beast God with a warm gaze.

Next, the mother cat spotted her two children, Huang Yi and Little White Cat, and her eyes imdiately filled with deep maternal love. She leaped down from the void and threw herself next to Huang Yi and Little White Cat, wrapping her paws tightly around them and affectionately licking them with her tongue.

Now Little White Cat cried even harder, clinging desperately to the mother cat, fearful she would leave again. The mother cat gently licked her head, soothing her lovingly.

Thus, the family was reunited, and a warm atmosphere dispersed the air of bloodshed, rendering the night beautiful.
