Chapter 150: Aura Training

*The next day*

It was three o’clock in the afternoon, after having eaten. Kaiser was calmly ditating in his room.

’The old Sulyvhan always told : even if I have no mana, I must get into the habit of ditating... Who knows why...’

Kaiser was circulating his aura through his muscles.

’Fuck... Even with an almost unlimited aura thanks to Aura Farming, I still don’t know how to go about understanding the third movent of Sundering Eclipse. The other two were pretty easy. With rigorous training, I managed to reproduce them.’

an extrely sharp crescent-shaped slash of white moonlight that cuts through everything in its path.

And the ... "I guess the difference is that I have to use both swords at the sa ti? No, that doesn’t make sense, in the second movent I’m already using the white blade and the black blade."

The only hint from old Sulyvhan: "rge your soul with the sword, to pierce the sky and awaken the new Moon..."

Kaiser opened his eyes.

"Why did the old man start speaking in riddles starting from the third movent?"

’Anyway, in the novel even Kris hadn’t reached that stage. No point thinking about it now. Maybe with a life elixir and training like a madman, I’ll have an enlightennt.’ He thought while standing up.

...

Kaiser headed to the training hall. On the way through the inner courtyard of the academy, he checked his status.

[Kaiser D. Paragon

Class: Warrior rank A-

Magical Aptitude: diocre

Arts: Sundering Eclipse (2/5 movents)

Techniques:

, , ,

Skills:

Level-headed (D: 90%)

Aura Farming (A: 90%)]

"Hmmm... Not bad, even though Level-headed keeps dropping, I’ve kept Aura Farming almost at maximum." he murmured to himself.

Upon entering the room, one could quickly notice a muscular man with wolf ears sitting shirtless in the training hall.

Kaiser scanned the surroundings. He had specifically chosen this course on Aura mastery because the instructor was a demi-beast, which made it more interesting. After all, demi-beasts were known for their innate mastery of Aura.

About thirty students were present, all equipped for training. A few ters away, Kaiser noticed Julian Frostvine talking to a young girl.

’He’s still spouting bullshit, that bastard,’ he thought, shaking his head. Strangely, Kris was nowhere to be seen.

"Yo, Julian."

Julian turned his head toward the voice. His face imdiately showed annoyance.

"Don’t worry, beautiful. Like I was saying, when I saw your almond eyes by chance, I thought to myself, this training is surely fate, the Seraph of destiny has surely blessed ..."

"He’s lying. That guy has at least five other girls, minimum."

"Shut up! That’s not true, he just wants to..."

The girl narrowed her eyes: "Julian of the Frostvine duchy, right? Turns out you courted one of my friends... You really are a scumbag."

*Slap*

Julian sighed, his face sullen after receiving the slap.

"What do you want, Kaiser? You really piss

off... you just ruined everything in a few seconds, you bastard."

Kaiser smiled and leaned against the wall, hands in his pockets.

"Nah, I just saved you."

Most of the ti Kaiser trained while thinking about his future plans, about how to beco stronger while neutralizing threats. But sotis, he liked to relax.

And seeing Julian talking to a dark elf he personally rated 2/10 was too tempting an opportunity to pass up teasing him.

’After all, I like Irène. What would she say if I didn’t give good advice to my dear son-in-law?’

"Huh? We’re not friends, dude."

"You jump on anything that moves. Not only do you risk getting burned by your other conquests, but you should also aim higher. What was that with this average-looking chick?"

"Hmm... You’re not wrong. But right now, I really want one with an Ebony Elf..."

"You’re way too thirsty, ahaha."

In the novel, Julian was one of the most liked characters. He wasn’t an annoying goody-two-shoes, nor a sadistic guy. Just a chill dude who occasionally hits on girls... He was addicted to it. And if you talked to him about girls, you instantly had his full attention.

"Yeah, and what do you care? As long as she’s alive and of age... You gotta respect won, man."

"You’re too much, dude."

"Hmm..." Julian stroked his beardless chin as if he was pondering sothing profound.

"Now that you ntion it. So demonesses are considered undead. I should remove the ’living’ criterion..."

"Nah, nah nah... You gotta aim high, man, top shelf."

"True that you’ve got a very curvy Kitsune. You even almost beat

to death for her. You know where to find more demi-beasts?"

Kaiser slicked his hair back with a sigh. "What if you went after Norah Walpurgis?"

"Dude, I already thought about it, but have you seen the psycho she has for a brother?"

"Nox Walpurgis?"

’Yeah, that’s actually pretty dangerous when you think about it,’ Kaiser admitted internally. It was one of the reasons he had no intention of networking with them. But he wouldn’t hesitate to throw Julian into the fire.

"The greater the risk, the greater the reward."

"You’re not wrong, man. You think she already has a boyfriend?"

"How would I know? Ask her directly, I saw her in sorcery class. You know what to do."

"Yeah, thanks. For the advice, you’re less of a son of a bitch than I thought."

"The one who says it is the one who is." the young lord Paragon added with a mocking smile.

"Huh? What do you an?"

A light surge of Aura drew their attention.

"I suppose you are all here to master aura," the Lycan finally declared.

"There aren’t ten thousand thods. I am Kroger, of the Lycan tribe. Attack

all at once... so I can gauge you!"

Barely had he finished speaking when he narrowly dodged an arrow that threatened to pierce his skull.

"You’re quick!" Kroger showed his canines.

Kaiser turned his head toward the direction the arrow ca from.

"The blind archer?"

"You really think you can beat him alone?" Julian asked seriously beside him.

"Obviously. I’m an A- rank warrior."

Julian smiled.
