Chapter 95 : Kids, I’m Here to Catch Soone

“Oh?” Baifuli raised a brow, withdrew her damp finger, and casually wiped it on Mia’s maid uniform.

Then she looked at her sister again, the wicked smile on her face widening slightly as she joked, “Do you want my exclusive pet-[Taming] tutorial too?”

“As if I care whether you tell

or not,” Vivian snorted.

“See? You are getting impatient again.” Baifuli reached out to pinch her puffed cheek.

As expected, before her hand could touch, it was slapped away. She had anticipated it; the swatted hand traced a half circle in the air before returning to continue doting on her little pet.

“It is mostly luck, plus your sister here is capable. But then again, it is a pity my dear sister t the wrong person and can only watch

play.”

She cupped Mia’s face with both hands, squeezing her lips into a pout and leaning closer to rub noses. “Little Mia, is your master right?”

Was this showing off?

Was this provocation?

Was this showing off and provoking ?!

“You are asking for death—are you sick?!” Vivian’s lips twitched, veins bulging on her forehead as her clenched fists creaked loudly, nearly driving her mad.

That alone might have been bearable, but Mia blinked innocently and looked at her together with her master.

She said nothing—yet it hit perfectly.

“What are you looking at?!”

She was furious, utterly furious!!!

The frustration built like a Vampire unable to drink blood, a gambler urged to wager everything, an old man seeing a beauty only for his flight to be delayed.

None of those taphors could fully describe the severity of it. Worse still, she had no way to deal with it. Just as she was at her wits’ end…

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a tall figure standing out from the crowd. In that instant, her tightly knit brows and grinding teeth relaxed together.

Like seeing a savior—like a believer suddenly wishing to join the faith upon seeing a nun kneeling before them—she could not look away.

Baifuli’s deliberate pet-showing stopped as her sister lost reaction. Puzzled, she followed Vivian’s gaze.

Now Vivian was no longer the only one staring blankly.

The specially styled black-and-white maid uniform did not make the wearer appear servile; instead, it accentuated her figure even more strikingly.

Several strands of white hair hung down, her steps unhurried and elegant, as though she carried an aura isolated from the world.

And that face—so maids could be this beautiful?

The next mont, a small figure launched off the sofa and dashed straight toward the approaching person. Fortunately, the other reacted quickly and steadied her by the shoulders.

“Miss, why are you in such a hurry?” Eve tilted her head and asked.

“You still dare ask!” Vivian punched her stomach. Though she knew it would not hurt, she still stomped angrily. “You left

alone waiting here for so long!”

“What, did you fall into the toilet?! Or were you secretly eting soone in there?! Now do you know your mistake?!”

Her small fists rained down, all absorbed by Eve’s abdon. Eve remained expressionless and calmly said, “Miss, please allow

to explain.”

“I do not want to hear it!”

“Alright.”

“What did you say? Say that again! I said I do not want to hear it, and you really will not explain?!”

Neither option satisfied her. Eve simply caught the wildly flailing fists.

Then she leaned down and spoke in a voice only the two of them could hear, briefly recounting what had delayed her.

Vivian found herself unable to scold or strike afterward.

“So you an, halfway through using the restroom, a drunken madwoman harassed you, and you needed ti to get rid of her?”

Eve nodded.

“…Did you give it?”

Eve shook her head—give what?

The real situation had been far more impactful than a few sentences could convey.

Just as she rose from the toilet, she had not even pulled up her underwear when the restroom door was violently pushed open.

Out of all stalls, the woman chose Eve’s. A reminder: always lock the door—you might et a female pervert soday.

Encountering this for the first ti, Eve maintained basic etiquette, lowering her skirt to cover herself and politely saying, “Miss, this stall is occupied. Please leave.”

The drunk woman’s eyes lit up. “Oh? You look… quite nice. Since I am already here, why not play with your sister a bit?”

Not only did she not retreat, she staggered forward and tried to shut the door.

Eve naturally would not ignore it. She did not even bother pulling up her underwear and instead focused on dodging the incoming woman.

She sidestepped.

Thud.

The drunken woman missed and fell face-first into the toilet, producing a string of bubbling noises.

After a few struggles, she stopped moving—apparently asleep.

Eve quickly tidied herself and calmly left as if nothing had happened, even thoughtfully closing the door behind her.

The toilet had not been flushed yet. As for the woman… hopefully she would not develop trauma toward tonight’s drinks after waking.

Vivian interrupted her thoughts. “Makes sense. With your brain, even if soone stripped naked before you, it would not matter.”

The words were harsh, but most of her anger dissipated.

“Forget it. Good timing.” Vivian turned back toward Baifuli, chin slightly raised with a hint of pride in her eyes.

Eve stood behind her like backing support, the hall’s lights passing over her calm profile.

Wait… why do these two look identical…?

Eve felt confused. She had only left for a while—how did a larger version suddenly appear? Her mind nearly overloaded as she compared again.

Baifuli also paused her hand on Mia’s head, looking at her suddenly confident sister and then at the maid beside her.

She suddenly laughed softly and murmured aningfully, “Interesting…”

Vivian then returned with Eve to the sofa. She sat back in her original position, crossing her legs and folding her arms.

A subtle sll of gunpowder appeared between the two—more precisely, rivalry. The offense and defense had now switched.

“Hmph. Pretty, isn’t she? You did not think… you were the only one who had one, did you?”
