Chapter 83: Tell

Loudly, What Car?

As ntioned before, it was still early for the gathering banquet.

Yet this grand hall of elegance was already brilliantly illuminated. It must be ntioned that this place belonged to the Church; the Perry Family had rely spent a fortune to rent it temporarily.

Servants busied themselves, shuttling back and forth to prepare a series of necessary matters. On such an occasion, accidents were absolutely not permitted.

Several luxury cars were parked right at the main entrance. Wave after wave of family representatives, outstanding young n, and elegant beauties stepped out to converse with one another.

They shook hands and exchanged pleasantries, presenting a prosperous scene of great families and lively clamor.

At this mont, a man in a high-end suit slowly walked out from the entrance, pushing through the crowd, his steps generating a breeze.

In the eyes of bystanders, his face was considered handso and his temperant extraordinary. His brow was filled with arrogance, and his every action exuded an aura of nobility that inspired awe.

“Ah, it is Young Master Perry!”

“Greetings, Young Master Perry. You have finally shown yourself.”

Many people greeted him one after another, their fawning and flattering intentions spilling over without the slightest concealnt. He rely gave an “Mm,” responding indifferently.

He looked up at the street, seemingly searching for sothing, and muttered to himself in a low voice, “Has she still not arrived...”

As the crowd gathering around him grew larger, he beca sowhat impatient. Clenching his hand into a fist, he pointed his thumb backward. “Tsk, my brother is inside. If you want to curry favor, go find him. Do not bother .”

The brother he spoke of was Langdon Perry, the eldest young master of the Perry Family and the future family head. As the younger brother, Nock had no interest in that position.

He lived a carefree and quite transparent life.

As the saying went, one should live in the present. As long as there was money to spend, it was enough. Positions and titles did not matter; those were things only smart people needed to consider.

“Haha... you are truly humorous. How would we dare trouble Eldest Young Master Perry...” The crowd laughed awkwardly and hurriedly stepped aside, lest they accidentally touch upon bad luck.

Out of sight, out of mind. Drawn like little flies buzzing around people, Nock did not want his newly bought clothes to be stained by the excrent of these disgusting insects.

He then looked up and scanned the area twice more. Confirming that the person he was waiting for had not yet arrived, and seeing that the drizzle was still falling, he had no choice but to shake his head and retreat inside.

On the other side, it was still that black sedan.

Inside, one could say the warm colors were gradually thickening. The intertwining warm breaths made the entire enclosed space an entirely different picture from the lancholic drizzle outside.

Vivian kindly wiped Eve's earlobe with a handkerchief. Leaning against the other girl, she rested her head on her shoulder and said with a mixture of impatience and helplessness, “Hey, I an, I just touched it for a little while. Is there a need to act like this? Turn your head back, stop pretending to be aloof.”

The maid still kept her head turned to the side, leaving her with only a cold profile. Although she said nothing, the aning of [If you do not coax , I will ignore you] was highly self-evident.

However, Eve certainly did not think that way. Her heart was rely a little chaotic, and she did not want to reveal an embarrassing side that was not any less than Vivian's.

“That is enough. This Young Miss does not have that much patience to humor you,” Vivian forcefully pinched her chin to turn it straight.

Their eyes t. Those red pupils were already eye-catching, but now they seed draped in a thin layer of mist, adding a few degrees of a fragile, seductive charm.

Seeing Eve like this for the first ti, Vivian even stopped breathing for two and a half seconds, nearly crashing on the spot. Her free small hand suddenly found nowhere to rest.

The maid remained silent, yet in her eyes, it looked like inexplicable grievance. Tsk, where on earth did this damned sense of guilt co from?!

Calm down, Vivian. You must be calm. How could you easily surrender and lay down your arms in front of such a re scene?!

But one thing was separate from another. She is truly so beautiful... I want to make her cry... Cough, I cannot dare think more about it. Thinking more would be impolite. If my lower abdon gets hot now, it will be over.

“Alright, alright. I even let you touch my legs, do you still expect this Young Miss to apologize?” Vivian said casually, annoyed.

Then the conversation took a sharp turn. She raised her left hand and lifted her chest, which already had little scale to speak of. “Or... do you want to touch this instead? I am giving you the chance, do you dare ask for it?”

Stop making your Sister Eve laugh, child. What is there to dare or not dare? There is only wanting or not wanting. Eve imdiately prepared to withdraw the hand caressing the jade-like foot and reach toward the extraction point.

“You actually dare?”

“Since Young Miss has already said so, if I did not do it, I would be far too unappreciative.”

“Hmph, glib-tongued! Fallacies!”

“Then... is it not allowed?”

“Tsk,” Vivian opened one eye to glance at her, then looked outside the car window.

It was designed as one-way glass to begin with; the outside could not see the inside. Her worry seed to be subconscious, and when she realized it, even she felt she was being stupid.

“Just for a mont.”

Yay. (Happy)

In this battle of wits, Eve had gained the upper hand. Even through the clothing, she could clearly feel the faint scale. Compared to touching it directly, it was two different sensations.

It was difficult to describe, but in short, it was very soft. Anyway, surely everyone has experienced it before...

Right?

After about a few minutes, it was not until the sound of light tapping ca from outside the car window that Eve finally agreed to withdraw her hand. Vivian glared at her resentfully, then lowered the window slightly.

It was enough to see the person outside. Any lower would not be good. But given their face-to-face posture, it seed one could still tell sothing...

At least, that was what the maid outside the window felt.

Eek! The Young Miss's eyes are so scary. I am dood. Of all tis to stumble upon the Young Miss being intimate, it had to be now. But... the Head Maid ordered

to remind her.

“Young Miss... um, the other guests are arriving one after another. You may enter the venue now.”

“Understood.”

Replying decisively, the car window rolled up and closed in response. After dawdling for another half a minute, the car door finally opened.

The first to step down was surprisingly Eve, her face calm and cold. She smoothly opened the parasol she carried with her. Fortunately, the dark clouds blocked most of the light for her, so she only needed to consider the beauty behind her.

Under the cover of the parasol, Vivian, draped in a black coat, followed and stepped out of the car. Her fair face reflected a faint blush as she lifted her high heels to step into a shallow puddle. An urban beauty was nothing more than this.

She casually swept her gaze over the accompanying maid group. There were no problems, and the gifts were ready. She rely gave Eve a look, and the latter imdiately understood.

As they walked, Vivian spoke casually, as if deliberately taking care of Eve, “Although the occasion is not small, eat what you want and drink what you want. There is no need to be too particular about so many things.”

“Rember, you do not need to bow to anyone else. Because you are my person, whether to give them face or not is up to

to decide.”

“Did you rember?”

Eve nodded slightly. “I understand.”

Logically speaking, due to her identity and mission work, she had to use the maid persona as a cover, so naturally, she had to be perfect and proper. However, since Vivian granted her privileges, she might as well let nature take its course.

After all, excessive red tape was not widely appreciated.

Among the maid group following behind them, one was currently gritting her teeth in extre envy, wishing desperately that she was the one standing beside the Young Miss, rather than a newcor.

“Just wait... Ti will prove that I am better than you!”

“Sister Ellie, what are you saying?”

“Cough, nothing. Do not be distracted.”
