Chapter 1743: Chapter 1646: Big News
Huo Sining heard the commotion and couldn’t help but raise her eyebrows at Xie Yuxing. The two pretended to be curious and poked their heads out from the suite, looking towards Su Lingxue with a puzzled expression:
"What’s happening?"
Because the disturbance was too loud, quite a few residents had already co out of their rooms, more or less seeing so of the inside story. Seeing Huo Sining’s inquiry, they quickly responded:
"Not sure, it seems like soone said there were drugs hidden or sothing. A bunch of police went in to search, don’t know who’s staying in that room..."
Just then, the hotel’s elevator happened to open on the 15th floor, and several reporters with long caras walked out, following the room number signs to Su Lingxue’s suite. Upon arrival, they saw uniford police standing inside, and the reporters were imdiately dumbfounded.
"Excuse ... is this Su Lingxue’s room?"
One reporter reacted the quickest, quickly noticing sothing amiss. A flash of shock and curiosity crossed his eyes, and he couldn’t help but grab one of the police officers to inquire about the situation.
The officer glanced at the reporter with so doubt in his eyes: "You journalists are like cats, slling the fish as soon as things happen and getting here so fast. You didn’t happen to know about this in advance, did you? You seem very suspicious too!"
The reporters were instantly at a loss: "Officer, what are you talking about? I don’t understand. Suspicious? What news? We haven’t done anything wrong."
The officer coldly replied, "You don’t know the news? Then how did you co so quickly? You better not tell
you just happened to be passing by!"
"No, Officer, I really don’t know what you’re talking about. We wanted to ask what happened here. We had arranged an exclusive interview with Miss Su beforehand. She told us the room was 1509, so we ca up. We really don’t know what’s going on."
The reporter, seeing the officer suspect him, panicked instantly and quickly pulled out his phone to prove his innocence, pointing to a ssage:
"Look, this is a ssage from Miss Su, and here’s the call record. I’m not lying!"
The officer looked at the evidence the person provided, confird he wasn’t lying, and relaxed:
"Exclusive interview? I’m afraid you won’t get that today. Su Lingxue and her agent have suspicious drugs hidden in their room. We followed the clues to find this place and have already searched and found them. We’re taking people and evidence back to the investigation bureau. For the interview, you’d better find soone else!"
Upon hearing this, the reporter was stunned for a mont but quickly recovered, looking at the officer with shock: "Drugs? Are you saying Su Lingxue and her agent... drug use?"
The officer did not deny it, and with this acknowledgnt, it was enough to excite the reporters.
What could compare to the thrill of a headline story over an exclusive interview?
These entertainnt reporters aren’t law reporters; they always delight in chasing rumors and sensationalizing stories. Even a minor disturbance, they could stir into a bloody storm, not to ntion the police coming in, and especially finding solid evidence like this big news!
The reporters couldn’t care less, their long caras clicking away, extending their necks to try and see what was happening inside.
If it weren’t for the police holding them back, these reporters would have rushed in.
Just at this mont, the police brought out Su Lingxue and Huang Jingwen from inside, and upon seeing this, the reporters got even more excited, flashlights incessantly flashing, squeezing their way to the door and impatiently thrusting microphones forward:
"Miss Su, the police say they found a large quantity of drugs in your room. Is that true?"
"When did you start contacting and using drugs?"
"Did you use these drugs yourself, or buy them for others? Why choose to do such things during the shooting in the hotel?"
"Do you regret it? Do you know the dangers of drugs?"

The reporters who had initially arranged to interview Su Lingxue turned into those who added insult to injury, shoving microphones almost into her mouth.
Su Lingxue’s gaze fell on the familiar faces of these reporters, seeing only excitent and schadenfreude. Her face burned, wishing she could find a hole to hide in, but feeling a strange irony.
Huang Jingwen remained silent, neither of them had expected, that after all their scheming, they’d end up shooting themselves in the foot.
After the police pushed away the encircling reporters and escorted them out of the room, Su Lingxue looked up and saw those guests watching the fuss not far away, the most conspicuous being Huo Sining and Xie Yuxing, arms crossed.
Huo Sining’s eyes filled with irony and ridicule, suddenly making Su Lingxue realize sothing. She couldn’t help but lift her head, glaring at Huo Sining with jealousy and venom.
"It’s you! You did this!"
Huo Sining looked at Su Lingxue blankly: "Sister Ling, what are you talking about? What did I do?"
Su Lingxue sneered coldly: "Don’t play dumb. You planted those drugs, didn’t you? I really was careless. I didn’t expect you to be so deeply hidden!"
Su Lingxue wasn’t foolish, she knew sothing wasn’t right.
She and Huang Jingwen clearly saw Yang Suxin place the "Pearl Powder" in Huo Sining’s room, yet the police found drugs in her backpack. Why did it turn out this way?
There’s only one explanation, and that is, Huo Sining had long known about her and Huang Jingwen’s plan to fra her but chose to wait, using the box of Pearl Powder to fra Su Lingxue and Huang Jingwen.
Realizing this, Su Lingxue finally understood she and Huang Jingwen had been tricked, conned by this seemingly naive rookie!
Su Lingxue’s whole body trembled uncontrollably, her heart surging with hatred, wishing she could imdiately rush over and tear that woman’s smug smile apart.
Damn it, they hadn’t expected to be pecked by a goose after hunting them for days. She and Huang Jingwen thought their plan was seamless, but in the end, they tangled themselves up, harming themselves!
Huo Sining, however, laughed as if she’d heard a joke:
"Sister Ling, don’t wrong people casually. I have no enmity with you, why should I harm you? Besides, didn’t the police say they traced you through the transaction line? Those drugs, you clearly bought them yourselves, how co now you’re blaming ?"
