But the Players’ “unlocked area” doesn’t have Biological Chips as support. Using the place they arrived as the trigger point, the scope varies in size; the more wanted criminals they kill, the larger the “unlocked area” becos—this point isn’t clearly stated in the instance introduction, it’s only a reminder. So whether entering an “unlocked area” counts as a criminal act, and who gets to determine that, becos a problem; and killing such a “criminal,” does that count as killing a wanted criminal? Who decides?
The only thing that can be confird is that when you kill a wanted criminal, a Player’s “unlocked area” expands automatically, which shows that Players are under tight supervision; it’s not just about filling a kill quota.
That brings up a problem: this One Third City instance might not care whether Players kill the wrong person, or whether they step into an “unlocked area.” But “entering an unlocked area” is the trigger for the One Third Ga, so could killing the wrong person also be one way to trigger the ga?
Killing the wrong person also ans you committed a cri; while being a hunter, you’re also being hunted.
“So you’re saying that among the people we killed earlier, there might have been people who weren’t actually wanted criminals?” After a pause, Tang Yu said, “But since all Player behavior is under the ga’s control, killing the wrong person will definitely be recorded; even the Players themselves might not know whether they’re wanted or not.”
“If that’s also one of the trigger thods for the One Third Ga, wouldn’t that an most Players will end up entering the ga?”
“Before you play, you have to figure out the rules,” Xu Huo said. “If we assu the One Third Ga is a supplent and a hidden rule set for the One Third City instance, then avoiding that ga is probably the safest way to clear the instance.”

Xu Huo was actually worried now whether so of the wanted criminals he killed before were misjudged. His basis was always that the other side believed themselves to be wanted criminals, but it’s entirely possible he got the wrong people.
Of course, most of his targets were Players; their likelihood of having committed cris is much higher than ordinary people’s.
Whether it’s the instance or the ga, if they can really monitor every move of everyone in the city, then just tossing a random bomb on the street might be enough to clear, because according to Bu Liu City’s original laws, a lot of people in this city have basically been committing cris nonstop. I’m sure so Players have tried it; as to whether it works, seeing that there aren’t more People throwing themselves at this approach, it’s most likely invalid.
Either the instance rules only apply to Players, or the instance no longer recognizes the original Bu Liu City legal code, or it has raised the bar for what counts as a “cri.”
After locals went through the One Third Ga and still chose to keep setting up outsiders, so of them are definitely doing it for profit, but more likely those actions don’t trigger the ga, which is why the practice spread among ordinary people.
Looked at this way, even though Players enter the instance as those who hunt wanted criminals, they are in fact the real “wanted criminals.”
“Too bad the clear-condition quest doesn’t co with a progress bar.” Shen Fu sighed. “Then I’d at least know whether I entered the ga because I killed the wrong person.”

Made sense. It directly excludes ordinary people; even cautious Players are unlikely to trigger the instance by “going out at night” or “entering an unlocked area.”

The next day, the residents of District 5 were all in an uproar over the regulations posted up. They don’t kill, but that doesn’t an they’re good people. The environnt is harsh and survival is difficult; the city doesn’t have a well-organized production system, and sotis they can’t even achieve self-sufficiency.
