Capítulo 2229: Chapter 2229: Filthy Rich

There are still a few Rank-A players waiting behind, Xu Huo cannot afford to waste ti talking with She now. Ignoring her confusion and calmness, he spreads the secant line across the entire second carriage, first cutting off her escape route before making a move to kill.

The female player has no ti to use the antitoxin, the first carriage in front was taken by Tattooed Head and others, even if she managed to get past them, there would be no way to escape. Hence, she focuses on the second carriage, blocking Xu Huo’s attack and quickly changing position to break through the secant line and flee.

But how could Xu Huo give her that chance? He pulled up over a dozen layers of barriers blocking the carriage door and took advantage of her turning around to stab her.

However, the Black Blade still didn’t break through her defensive barrier. Subsequently, she glowed with a white arc light and charged into the second carriage without looking back!

Spatial Artifact, she intended to use the prop to forcibly break through the secant line to escape.

Of course, as long as her spatial artifact was sturdy enough, it was not impossible.

Xu Huo’s hand slipped into his pocket, “Three Seconds of a Lifeti” dropped out for a mont and was quickly retrieved.

But that was already enough.

The female player, who had successfully left the second carriage, turned into scattered corpse pieces as she stepped out the carriage door.

Extracting the prop off the corpse from a distance, Xu Huo then put away the secant line and Black Blade, changed his protective suit, and opened the third carriage door.

This door was closed by a few Rank-A players themselves. The idea was to separate the two Psychic Evolvers. Now that the door is reopened, all the three Rank-A players in the previous carriage are dead, and as for the situation behind…

That Psychic Evolver nad Yong’an is still alive, although he’s not in good shape. He faced four Rank-A players on his end and managed to survive thanks to aid from fellow players – the carriage was too cramped, and any action was bound to affect others. The players who were inadvertently hard wouldn’t let it rest, especially since these guys started by poisoning the train, making the environnt terrible, and that debt had to be settled.

Of the four Rank-A players, two are already dead, and two are resisting desperately. They boarded the train to earn money, yet they might beco soone else’s money bags.

“These Rank-A players are really rich,” Tattooed Head and his fellows stood in the transitional area between the first and second carriages.

“The instance rating isn’t low, allowing players to acquire decent sa-level props. Combined with evolution traits and other rewards, there aren’t many good props after each instance clearance. Even with high scores throughout the year, how many Rank-A props can be obtained? They are expensive to buy… better off earning with murder and arson,” Tattooed Head’s companion lanted, “These people’s Rank-A props seem wholesale.”

“Rank-A props also vary in quality,” Tattooed Head comnted, “I see the quality of those Rank-A players’ props doesn’t match this brother’s. Good props don’t need to be many, just having a few convenient ones is enough.”

They watched from the sidelines, noting Xu Huo initially used many props, but later cycled through a few, especially the “Spatial Sphere,” which could almost repel anything of the sa level, and its psychic attack was truly eye-opening, even commanding a Rank-A player to commit suicide!

The performance of “Spatial Sphere” exceeded Xu Huo’s expectations. He had stolen the prop from Zheng Yuci, and so stolen props could be used, so couldn’t. Generally, after a long wait, most beco usable, but “Spatial Sphere” was ready for use as soon as he got it. Initially, he thought it was due to the effect of the stealing prop, but later he discovered that “Spatial Sphere” beca ownerless when stolen.

Zheng Yuci is ninety-nine percent alive, not only alive but also played a benefactor, handing him the prop voluntarily.

Quite brazen.

The train had already shut down the lights long ago, and the two Rank-A players behind could not make it to the front. The second carriage was overtaken by poison, prompting players from the original second carriage to move backward for avoidance, and they weren’t returning now. Hence, Xu Huo returned to the first carriage.

Once he entered, Tattooed Head and his fellows sealed the door.

“Now we can finally have a good sleep,” Tattooed Head’s companion gave Xu Huo a thumbs up, “You’re really capable, taking on three Rank-A players with ease.”

Xu Huo chuckled, “The setting wasn’t right; they didn’t play to their full potential.”

That’s not untrue. How could these Rank-A players not have better props? They were rely concerned about damaging the train, and with such a sudden death, if they knew their lives would end here, they would probably blow up the train, dragging him down with them.

“Eh, you can’t say that. Being on the train, wasn’t everyone holding back?” said another player, “I’m Yuan Youming, this is my big brother Tong Wei, third sister Xie Shanjun, and fourth brother Gao Xiucheng. The four of us bonded during the last section. I see you’re also a genuine person, let’s be friends.”

Xu Huo willingly exchanged contacts with them. Yuan Youming then enthusiastically invited him to watch a match together and said, “Once you beco a Rank-A player, you’ll definitely rank high on the Wormhole Points leaderboard. Join us in observing; so of these people might beco our future opponents.”

Xu Huo politely declined, “I have other things to do.”

Tattooed Head Tong Wei said, “You ntioned earlier you were seeking revenge; what kind of revenge warrants a special trip?”

“Would the bounty at B37 Wormhole Point have anything to do with you?” Xie Shanjun also asked, “Such a level of opponent might be challenging for you alone.”

“It’s nothing extraordinary,” said Xu Huo, “But I need to make the trip myself, to honor the deceased.”

Casual acquaintances, Tong Wei and his companions didn’t pry further but generously offered their help should he require it.

Xu Huo thanked them for their kindness; monts later, a carriage exploded behind, nearly derailing the entire train. The front along with a few carriages briefly lifted off the track before crashing back down heavily, followed by tumbling and crashing sounds, indicating so carriages had derailed.

But most carriages weren’t too severely damaged; only the tailing three carriages were blown away, and the train could still run without issues.

By the next day, the crowded players began disembarking.

Since many were heading to the sa location, the disembarking points were closely located. Tong Wei and his group bid farewell to Xu Huo ahead of ti and soon left the train.

The train felt empty; players in the rear carriages feared accidents and spontaneously cleaned out the second carriage, packing those poisons and dumping them outside the rails from the damaged rear carriages, then regrouping in the front carriages.

“You haven’t disembarked yet?” Yong’an approached the first carriage and greeted Xu Huo, sitting next to him and weakly smiling, “I didn’t dare close my eyes last night, are you alright?”

Xu Huo understood his aning, “While it’s daylight, you can catch up on sleep; there shouldn’t be anyone making a move anymore.”
