Chapter 2145: Chapter 2145: A Public Hunt
"People without foresight will have imdiate worries; you are a visionary person." Xu Huo said, "If more people like you appear in Zone 008, then Zone 008 will get better and better."
The scholar chuckled, "You don’t need to flatter . I’m just making a modest contribution for my family. But I’m a bit curious about you. You shouldn’t be from Brick Tale Town, right? If Brick Tale Town could cultivate players like you, it wouldn’t have been repeatedly weakened until its complete demise."
Xu Huo gazed at the person opposite him, speaking quite solemnly, "Just seeking justice."
The reason for returning to the station city was not really to single-handedly oppose so many players from the Tian Family or the Law Enforcent Team. This is an advanced developnt zone, where player accumulation is imasurable. On the surface, there are no Super Players, but the absence of random instances speaks volus. This is different from the Ember Girl Copy, which resolves leftover issues of this zone and addresses truths urgently desired by many persecuted people in this zone. Additionally, due to internal governntal disputes, the faction inclined to peaceful resolution holds sway, so players show restraint.
Zone 008 is different; he represents Brick Tale Town and Brick Tale Town is a third party, without direct contact or vested interests with the local governnt and residents of this zone. Therefore, whether it’s the Tian Family or the Municipal Governnt, the approach to handling a ddling Outer Zone player is, of course, the sa: when confird, swiftly act aggressor.
No matter the form in which Xu Huo appears, as long as the Tian Family or Municipal Governnt confirms his identity, they will undoubtedly and without hesitation take lethal action.
From the Brick Tale Town incident and the fabricated declaration incident, it can be seen that even if a war between Outer Zone players and local players is incited, things will still quickly settle down and perhaps won’t even provoke much discussion.
Only by making this issue Zone 008’s own problem will soone take the initiative to solve it.
Two hours ago, Xu Huo selected three from among the more renowned scholars and finally decided on the person before him through face-to-face discussions.
This scholar is a well-known neutral; he may not do things harmful to Zone 008, but such a dual-benefit article has no reason to refuse.
"I haven’t heard that term in a long ti," the scholar sighed deeply. "Since players rose, even the principle of blood for blood sounds like a joke."
"No matter what you wish to accomplish, when you et people from Zone 008, think about those from Brick Tale Town—they are people unable to grasp their own destinies."
The scholar didn’t want to deter Xu Huo; he seed to possess an unusual tolerance, or perhaps it was due to the confidence and assurance brought by Zone 008’s military power extending into tolerance for others. In the more than an hour Xu Huo spent in convincing him to publish the article, he didn’t even consider notifying the Law Enforcent Team.
Yet at this mont, his watch terminal emitted a prompt, and he raised his hand slightly, "The Scholars Association is looking for , asking
to visit overnight, so I must leave."
Xu Huo rose to see him out, "Thanks for the help."
The scholar simply chuckled, "Young man, good luck to you."
After watching him leave, Xu Huo sat back down, finishing his tea under the watchful eyes of the two Law Enforcent Team mbers tasked with observation, while also checking new ssages on the Collection of Information Terminal.
As ti progressed, the scholar’s article continued to fernt; previously, so scholars addressed Zone 008’s excessive reliance on instrunts, but few touched upon the potential harms to humanity following rapid technological advancents. So may consider the encroachnt on living space unavoidable, yet few truly believe the plight of ordinary people in absolute nurosity would slip into another Shen Yuan—after all, this zone has comprehensive laws and systems.
Now soone is speaking up, and so are taking action; when emotions run high, even if a definite outco is not truly debated, so ideas will slowly enter their minds, changing so of their views. Revisiting the Brick Tale Town incident, isn’t it seemingly not such a matter removed from oneself?
There are those who harm others for personal gain, just as there are those who pursue justice, hoping the Tian Family receives long-term "feedback" from this incident.
Xu Huo’s current task is different.
Based on information disclosed on the Collection of Information Terminal concerning the Tian Family, Dou Shengnan has repeatedly visited Tian Family Hotel, accompanied by Tian Family mbers to various locations, coming and going hurriedly—seemingly with urgent matters to attend to. She was not accompanied by any other Guile Sound Knights mbers, except a player resembling a bodyguard who remained at her side. Two people, with her as the central figure, occasionally exchanged with this person according to records. It’s unclear if they’re part of the group.
The places they appeared were not far from several technology companies under the Tian Family. However, once soone recognized Dou Shengnan, she hasn’t left the hotel again, nor has she left Zone 008, seemingly waiting for sothing.
Xu Huo disregarded the two trailing him, using a portal to go near the hotel.
The Tian Family Hotel’s surrounding area certainly isn’t lacking in people; players from various factions are observing closely, with unceasingly circling flight surveillance devices greatly restricting the Tian Family’s movent. Should a single face move too frequently, it imdiately attracts outside attention and suspicion. Plus, with Law Enforcent Team involvent, Tian Family players ordered to avoid unnecessary clashes with people since displaying excessive toughness would lead to worse consequences.
Everyone pulled all-nighters, and Xu Huo could only choose a slightly distant place to settle.
This small shop already had quite a few people in it. Upon entering, several eyes landed on him, and after sitting down, soone amusingly conversed with him, inquiring about the few dogs following behind.
The Outer Zone players gathered here were evidently not to be trifled with, manifesting strong aversion to Law Enforcent’s tracking thods, hence the overt malice.
The shop contained Outer Zone players, while outside were doubled Law Enforcent Team mbers.
"There’s really no need for that, it’s just paid work," Xu Huo said rather justly.
The player who questioned him switched from a smiling face to a cold sneer, "Assimilating as a dog quite rapidly, I wonder if you’ll serve as a lackey."
Xu Huo glanced in that direction, noticing slight changes in the other’s expression, then retracted his gaze, replied coolly, "Anyone who can rush out and slaughter back and forth, I’ll call a hero; words now might as well say sothing later."
The player was about to act angrily, but the person beside him stood up and pressed a hand on his shoulder, decidedly pushing him back into his seat. Then, under his sudden change of expression, he said, "Why bother fighting over a few words? If both of you can’t find an outlet for your energy, I have a suggestion—there’s a wanted criminal right here, how about a public hunt?"
