Capítulo 2071: Chapter 2071: Instance Count Uninterrupted
Last night’s events made everyone realize that even if they killed all the other players who cleared the level, they wouldn’t beco the sole choice for clearing. The castle owner has more tricks to deal with them.
In other words, dungeons where the boss was once a player or a person serve as the dungeon boss have a certain flexibility. This flexibility could be that the holder shows rcy, or maliciously ensures nobody clears the level, knowing that players will drop so props and other equipnt in the instance upon their deaths.
At this mont, it’s considered the ti when players are most united; they can chat calmly while searching for the doll.
“Speaking of instances,” the glasses-wearing player said as he adjusted his glasses, “I had an elder who once obtained an Instance Authorization Docunt.”
This piqued the interest of others, as even advanced players don’t necessarily have widespread information. Obtaining permissions for an instance is extrely difficult. One must not only stumble upon an unowned instance but also be capable enough to hold it, have a certain compatibility, or simply be overwhelmingly strong to receive the ga’s recognition.
Without this luck, there’s no need to ntion players. Those who succeed in obtaining the instance usually don’t voluntarily share related clues because it’s deeply tied to the owners’ foundational basis.
“You all have heard of the Instance Authorization Docunt, right? A player’s na must be on it for the instance to beco valid,” continued the glasses player. “So without this docunt, the holder’s permissions naturally disappear.”
“Whoever gets the Instance Authorization Docunt would certainly find ways to keep it hidden,” said the fluorescent powder player. “What’s wrong with being an instance boss?”
“That’s only half right,” the glasses player shook his head, “It’s best to be an advanced player’s instance holder. If the dungeon level is too low or too simple, and an advanced player happens to enter and blows up the instance, the holder’s end might not be any better than the players’.
“At worst, it’s simply returning to the ga,” the fluorescent powder player nonchalantly said, “just becoming a player again.”
“I heard that opening and closing an instance cos with conditions,” said the woman in purple at this mont. “Once an instance is opened, the holder must fulfill contractual obligations according to ga requirents. For fixed instances, the opening ti and location are fixed, and the holder can’t easily leave the dungeon venue unless they relinquish ownership.”
“However, fixed instances are fine because their opening tis are regular, and an instance lasts less than a month. So governnts or organizations might let the authorization docunts circulate by foregoing ownership.”
Instances above Rank-B, or random instances, have unstable opening tis. If enough players enter, the instance might last for months or even years without ending, giving the holder no chance to abandon the authorization docunt.
There’s a theory that once using the authorization docunt, a player’s identity is paused, but their instance count doesn’t stop. Unlike when district governnts apply to pause a player’s identity or grey players, when an instance holder cos out of the dungeon venue, the number of missed instances accumulates.
Everyone was sowhat surprised, “Wouldn’t that an facing high-risk random instances imdiately upon leaving?”
“It’s just hearsay; I don’t know if it’s true,” the woman in purple shrugged, “only a few players get an instance, so the information disclosed might not be accurate.”
“If coming out of an instance ans imdiately facing high-risk random ones, it’s better not to take the authorization docunt in the first place,” the fluorescent powder player said.
“There might be other ways to avoid this risk,” said the middle-aged man. “Holding an Instance Authorization Docunt surely has channels for dealing with the ga governnt.”
Xu Huo, following behind, thought that the saying that the holder’s player instance count doesn’t stop was new to him. Although he got the Instance Authorization Docunt early, he never received much guidance from the ga side. He used “The Seventeenth Hospital” as a supplental prop without knowing about fixed instances, but it was confird that random instances could move wormhole points following the holder.
Unlike random instances that naturally appear with entry dia like Little Pink Hat, where the entrance allows players wherever it goes, Little Pink Hat usually only operates at one wormhole point according to her. Cross-wormhole point entrance needs permission; whether it’s because she finds it troubleso or the dungeon level isn’t high enough, it’s generally not that easy.
In comparison, Xu Huo’s random instance opened at multiple wormhole points as he moved. Of course, he didn’t stay at fixed wormhole point districts long and quickly left, perhaps due to the special nature of random instances.
His situation also differs from the Skinning Artisan’s instance. The Skinning Artisan once ntioned a “Temporary Pass”, hoping to get one as moving instances is troubleso. Later Dr. Deng ntioned it’s akin to a universal ticket—simple terms aning traveling nearby without train level differentiations, saving instance tickets.
This overlaps sowhat with the functionality of instance tickets, but since players can only do a limited number of Low-Level Copies each year, and so tickets might start instances imdiately upon disembarking, Temporary Passes allow taking any level train, being much more convenient.
For Xu Huo personally, his instance moves wherever he goes, without causing trouble, but Little Pink Hat said random instances could change districts and wormhole points. You just need to accumulate a certain number of instances, so movent might not need tickets. Why would the Skinning Artisan want a Temporary Pass then?
Is his instance different, or is it a ga rule targeting holders that appears only after accumulating random instances?
Of course, the Skinning Artisan’s instance is also different from ordinary random instances. Until now, Xu Huo hasn’t encountered another random instance capable of accepting ticket players. Perhaps he coincidentally avoided such instances when selecting, and after leveling, rarely does random instances anymore—probably avoiding them.
If the ssage is reliable about instance count not stopping, then players wouldn’t dare to easily leave the instance venue after holding it for a long ti…It’s unknown whether this is a hint from the ga after upgrading the venue or a rule probed by instance holders.
Of course, this isn’t currently urgent for Xu Huo to figure out; “The Seventeenth Hospital” is currently being used well enough.
“If the castle owner was once a player, can he still use the personal panel?” the fluorescent powder player curiously asked.
