Chapter 2039: Chapter 2039: Questioning the Foundations of Evolution

"Pardon my directness, is it due to evolution, or..." Xu Huo couldn’t hide his surprise.

Hua Han Werna squinted his eyes, "Let’s just say it’s the price of youthful ignorance."

He wasn’t very clear, but the implication in his words seed to lean towards evolution.

"Evolution is a good thing," Hua Han Werna continued, "Do you know how many players are in the entire ga world?"

Xu Huo shook his head slightly.

"Countless."

"The E27 Wormhole Point has less than twenty zones, but during the formation of these several zones, zones are constantly being born and disappearing. Each ti a zone is born, there’s a player boom, and by now it’s hard to keep track of how many players are actually at the E27 Wormhole Point."

"And that’s just one Wormhole Point."

"Among so many players, Super Evolvers may only account for 10%, if that many. Ti Evolvers are even fewer among all Super Evolvers, and those who understand Temporal Evolution are even scarcer. So, it’s not surprising for an Evolver to take so detours."

"But if you veer off from spiritual Super Evolution or spatial Super Evolution, you can still turn back. Temporal Evolution is tricky; you might even lose your life."

"Young people shouldn’t be too independent; there’s nothing shaful about occasionally asking elders for advice instead of trying to figure everything out on your own."

Hua Han Werna stretched lazily, patting the tools on the table, "Look at , without capable descendants at ho, I’m left to deal with flowers, birds, fish, and insects all day."

"Do you know how to garden?"

The topic shifted quickly, but Xu Huo had no say in it. He nodded, "I’ve learned a bit from others."

"That’s perfect, you’re idle anyway, co and give

a hand." Hua Han Werna tossed him a pair of scissors, "These new saplings have been soaking in nutrient solution for half a day and have grown all over the place. They need trimming before being planted in the soil."

Xu Huo picked up the tools and changed into the shoes brought by the Butler before following Hua Han Werna into the nearby garden.

The garden was a bit ssy, with a big jar in the corner, and the roots of the saplings thrown inside had grown out of the jar, seemingly sensing the presence of soil, all stretching into the nearby flowerbed.

"These evolved species are more vigorous than humans." Hua Han Werna instructed Xu Huo to trim the roots, "They won’t grow as fast once planted in soil."

Xu Huo followed his instructions, only to find that the saplings he had just pruned were turning yellow from the small branches, showing signs of wilting.

Hua Han Werna picked one up, shoved it into a pit, scooped a bit of soil to cover the roots, then stomped on it to flatten, "The wisdom of plants: they grow wildly when nutrition is abundant but will first abandon the furthest parts when lacking support, to preserve their core."

Xu Huo watched quietly for a while and then trimd the roots of the other saplings.

In this way, they pruned and planted all the saplings from the jar, and the garden was soon covered with fallen yellow leaves from the saplings. However, shortly after planting, they did not continue to wither. With the nutrient added, they began to rejuvenate.

Suddenly, Xu Huo said, "It feels like ti is flowing backward."

Hua Han Werna adjusted his hat and glanced at him, "Ti doesn’t flow backward."

Xu Huo also looked at him, "Ti can’t go backward?"

"No." Hua Han Werna stated, "Ti can move forward, but it can’t move back."

Xu Huo paused, "I know that the ti in zones within the ga world differs. Perhaps one could jump from a faster ti zone to a slower one?"

"Just because it moves slowly doesn’t an it doesn’t move." Hua Han Werna laughed, "When I was young, I thought like you, but I gradually gave up as I got older."

It can only be abandoned because if ti could flow backward, why wouldn’t soone adept in Ti Force reverse his own ti?

"I’ve heard people talk about curved ti." Xu Huo added.

"That’s just a hypothesis about ti." Hua Han Werna stated, "No one has proven it yet."

"What do you think a Ti Ray looks like?"

"Crisscrossing lines." Xu Huo answered, "Like overlapping webs where every corner is interconnected."

Hua Han Werna stroked his chin, "That’s quite peculiar."

Xu Huo was slightly surprised, "If it’s not that way, how can a resonance occur between Ti Rays?"

"Ti is a whole." Hua Han Werna contemplated, "The ti you encounter within a space is essentially the sa; it doesn’t change with the material. Dividing it into rays is for better understanding and control, but in reality, it’s a whole. When you touch Ti Force, the ti in the entire space is influenced by you, but individual capabilities limit the perceivable range."

Xu Huo found it hard to comprehend, as it greatly differed from his perception.

"Haha! If you don’t get it, take your ti pondering." Hua Han Werna stood up and walked out of the flowerbed, saying, "Your thod also works, but don’t get fixated on form, and don’t let Spatial Evolution affect you. Although Ti Rays are called rays, they might not be in the form of lines; it’s just a convenient term for understanding."

Xu Huo followed behind him, frowning slightly. Spatial Rays and Ti Rays were the basis of his spatiotemporal evolution. He started with the form of rays and, influenced by Carn Field, the Ti Force’s form was closer to rays as well. The most direct way is by introducing Ti Rays from other zones to make ti flow rapidly for people or objects. If it’s not accomplished in the form of rays, then what is it?

To overturn the structure of Ti Rays would be tantamount to overturning the foundation of his evolution. Thus, as he left the flowerbed, his expression returned to calmness.

Hua Han Werna did not continue the topic and instead addressed the approaching Butler, "Have you eaten?"

"Sir!" The Butler was already fuming from a distance, "Your face!"

Hua Han Werna brushed his face, finding the dirt from his gloves sared on it, and laughed heartily, wiping it roughly, "Don’t be mad, I’ll wash it right away."

He then instructed the Butler to take Xu Huo to the dining room first.

The Butler, noticing the mud on Xu Huo’s shoes and pants, raised his eyebrows higher, exclaiming in frustration, "I don’t understand why planting a few saplings would leave you covered in mud? Were you having a mud fight?"

Xu Huo glanced at the person next to him, also puzzled as to why so people would replant a tree simply because the direction of a leaf seed off to them.

Hua Han Werna feigned ignorance and walked away.
