The countless hexagons had beco the only presence in Xu Huo’s field of vision, interspersed with an unseen attack force—unseen spiritual power is another form of Spirit Evolution. Ordinarily, after laying out the Spiritual World, the most direct effect is influencing others’ senses to achieve a level indistinguishable from reality. Besides interfering with and affecting others’ actions and conduct, it conveniently serves to shield one’s own movents. To directly kill others using spiritual power, one must reach the degree where the power is materialized.

This materialization can be seen, appearing as flowing black shadows in Xu Huo’s Spiritual World and as white hexagons in Zheng Yuci’s Spiritual World. Both sides can see these attacks because, at this level, materialized items are not much different from real objects unless Evolvers face non-Evolvers and completely cover the opponent’s perception.

This kind of unseen power was sothing Xu Huo had never experienced before—for example, earlier when the Shadow Personality erged and knocked down hexagons, which was previously impossible. Spiritual power can certainly be materialized, but only the materialized part can be directly manipulated. If one can manipulate objects remotely without relying on any props or characteristics, it ans the materialized power has changed from a sparse quantity to an entire region, nearly reflecting all spiritual power in the surrounding space!

Xu Huo attempted this while resisting Zheng Yuci’s attack just now. He could mobilize spiritual power within a twenty-ter radius around him, using it without the effort of materialization, like Spatial Power for both defense and attack. Yet, since he overreached, he coughed up blood after the attack, which was why Zheng Yuci mocked him.

Compared to a barrel he could easily raise suddenly touching a seemingly larger pond, Zheng Yuci could freely manipulate a significantly larger amount of spiritual power more skillfully. Between the two, who would fall under pressure was evident.

Nevertheless, this evolution was worthwhile for Xu Huo. Directly controlling the power within the Spiritual World was only an interdiate stage of materialization. Once adapted, it would bear less burden than materialization, cover a larger range, and have no restriction on using props or characteristics—this is the fang grown from Spirit Evolution at a certain level.

Unfortunately, Zheng Yuci did not appreciate Xu Huo’s enthusiastic learning spirit. After the battlefield was drawn far from the city ground, Zheng Yuci lifted his hands slightly, and several massive, semi-transparent hexagonal shields appeared around him.

He looked around as he spoke, "You’ve seen my Spiritual World and my second personality. It’s fair to look at the materialized item of your spiritual core, right?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the black shadow beneath Xu Huo’s feet flowed toward the ground like water. Since he was far from the ground and sealed mid-air by giant hexagons, the shadow flowed along the newly ford small hexagons, delving deeper along the seams, and in the blink of an eye, transford into thin blades slicing open large housing holes. Soon afterward, these water-like materialized items seed to find the knack, and as they moved, the newly established "Operating Room" began collapsing, accompanied by hexagons of various sizes falling down. Above the giant hexagon, a small hexagon emitting a golden glow appeared.

"Didn’t expect your heart to be golden..." Before the teasing words finished, a blade appeared from behind, piercing through "Undaunted Martyr Substitute" and flying out of Xu Huo’s chest. Though "Undaunted Martyr Substitute" had substitution abilities and latent threat elimination, this ti it failed, along with "Kitty Grants You Three Lives," which was hindered by Zheng Yuci who suddenly appeared before Xu Huo.

Zheng Yuci "thoughtfully" held Xu Huo’s shoulder, smoothly allowing him to take the blade. With his other hand, he grabbed the blade protruding from Xu Huo’s chest and said remorsefully, "Since you’ve never seen my materialized items, how can you be sure I only have one?"

Xu Huo’s chest seeped blood, but the materialized item hadn’t hit the heart due to the deflection. The rest were minor injuries. He also laughed at Zheng Yuci, "You’re in no better condition, weren’t you the one who just t my second personality?"

Before he finished speaking, a hand seemingly wrapped in black smoke pierced Zheng Yuci’s chest, paused shortly, then turned to grab his heart!

Only at this point did Zheng Yuci’s face change. A layer of golden light popped out around him, forcibly pushing the Shadow Personality away, attempting to take Xu Huo along. But how could Xu Huo sit and await his fate? He used all available defense props, blocking multiple successive attacks. As spiritual assaults and props failed, Zheng Yuci suffered another attack from the Shadow Personality, forced to retreat and distance himself.

Then the main event arrived. From so player’s action, the two, previously fine floating in the air, were forcibly pulled back to the ground—their battleground already overgrown with mutant plants, landing ant being buried within endless vines and bushes. Xu Huo barely used props and Spatial Power to open a path. Imdiately, a wave of air spread from Zheng Yuci’s side, flattening the mutant plants in the vicinity. Facing the rushing strong airflow, Xu Huo saw Zheng Yuci raise a conical tool without hesitation and stab it toward Xu Huo’s temple!
