Chapter 1784: Chapter 1784: The Immortal Pedestrian

The majority of traits that Xu Huo has acquired so far share a common characteristic: they have a broad coverage range but lack much offensive power, and so are not very compelling. This aligns well with the occupational characteristics of a "Passerby A"—weak, inconspicuous, and most of them aren’t practically useful.

Of course, this is also related to the fact that he has not evolved his traits many tis. With each upgrade, the traits either expand their range or enhance their restrictive force. For instance, the "Referee" trait of Kuang Sen, whom he t on the train to Zone 019, has evolved remarkably, not only offering a defensive self-preservation effect but also imposing restrictions on others.

However, many of Xu Huo’s traits depend on the immunity level of the object being used. Besides "Emotional Palette" and "Truth Above All," which are used relatively often, the opportunities to use other traits are rare. After all, the target requiring trait assistance in an attack might be immune to it, and when they’re not needed, props are sufficient.

Next is an upgrade of one major trait and one derived trait.

The primary trait "Accident-Triggering Physique" upgrades to "Choice of Destiny." Originally, "Accident-Triggering Physique" was considered a passive skill. Xu Huo seldomly used this trait actively, but often he would coincidentally appear at the site of an accident, unwittingly getting involved in danger.

After the upgrade, "Choice of Destiny" becos an active skill that he can use at tis to assist in making judgnts. For example, when choosing a direction, using this trait can give him a basic percentage assessnt, increasing the likelihood of encountering sudden events when moving in a particular direction. It serves as a trait that can proactively avoid risks.

[It is worth noting that the choice of destiny is not solely in the hands of Passerby A. When others also make their destiny’s choice, it often causes unexpected chain reactions. Passerby A should not overlook this.]

In simple terms, the effect of this trait is temporary, and the risk assessnt value can change since the objective existence of things and people also changes.

However, it’s certainly better than the previous "Accident-Triggering Physique."

The derived trait upgrade under this primary trait is "Gifted Feign Death."

"Gifted Feign Death" can also be called "Play Dead for Half a Minute." During the half-minute of using this trait, one cannot be spotted by any flora or fauna, humans included, as they are animals too. The only downside is that humans may deal additional attacks on a corpse, so Xu Huo has rarely used this trait.

It now upgrades to "Rest in Peace," extending the successful feign death ti to one minute, with a 50% chance that those who see him maintain humanity’s respect for the deceased.

Very well, this is another selective trait.

There is also one remaining opportunity to upgrade any major trait, and Xu Huo applied it to "Truth Above All 2.0."

After two upgrades, this trait that can isolate all traits, props, and physical attacks extends its protective ti from three seconds to six seconds. While not completely immune to spatial rays, it’s a life-saving trait with great utility. Thus, there’s no need to hesitate; the upgrade opportunity was certainly used for it.

After a brief wait, "Truth Above All 2.0" was erased, becoming "The Immortal Pedestrian."

[The Immortal Pedestrian: There has never been a case where a Passerby A responsible for witnessing and spreading the truth dies halfway. Even when the sky collapses, Passerby A will erge when needed by others to enrich the plot of accidents, and won’t get hurt, as injuries might prevent them from having the strength to spread the truth.]

[10-second absolute protection ti. Within these ten seconds, all props, traits, and physical or chemical damage will fail to take effect. However, Passerby A should be aware that space-ti power attacks with absolute crushing effects might break through the barrier.]

[Cooldown ti: 12 hours.]

The upgrade of this major trait truly satisfied Xu Huo, with a ten-second protection ti allowing dozens of back-and-forth in battles among advanced players, and the cooldown ti was also shortened.

Thus, the main rewards for personal achievents are reviewed, as for the Dinsional Rift Library borrowing card. Originally, Xu Huo only had Level E Wormhole Point access. Now it has upgraded to Levels C, D, and E. "Beneath the Dinsion" account permissions upgraded to the full Player Level section for Level E Wormhole Points, and for Levels C and D Wormhole Points, only the sections below Rank-C Player are accessible. Now the Level E Wormhole Point Player section can be viewed from Level E to Rank-A, while Levels C and D still have player level restrictions, only allowing views of the sections below Rank-C.

The Joy Transit Station entry ticket is actually set in a consumption area within a certain zone that the train passes through. If a player happens to be on the train, the one with this entry ticket can choose to disembark temporarily, enjoy the anities, and then reboard the train to proceed to the destination.

Having counted personal rewards, the team rewards and additional prizes follow.

The extra prizes include one Rank A Prop, one Secondary Stone with Space-Ti attributes, three free crafting tickets for Rank-A Artifact Makers, and one Chaotic Space-Ti Ticket.

The team rewards consist of one Rank A Prop, an opportunity to upgrade the luggage compartnt, two Secondary Stones, an upgrade opportunity for a derived trait, 1 billion White Notes, twenty tickets, five hundred advanced potions, one hundred vouchers for famous spots, hotels, and restaurants in different zones, and thirty mbership cards.

This ti’s team reward continues to be modest enough to cause a scramble among players, with the giving of re money and vouchers to appease them, even the Secondary Stones lack special Space-Ti attributes.

Along with Zone 019’s compensation of three Rank A Props and seven Rank B props, Xu Huo’s prop bar underwent a significant update.

The original Rank A Props "Unbreakable from Within," "Goalkeeper," "Fluttering Snowflakes" were all damaged. Although "Blossom" was borrowed, it was returned after Zone 019, so the update of Rank A Props are as follows:

The existing ones are "Life Core," "Unassailable Territory," "City Sandbox," "Everything Wants to Slice," Black Blade’s "Unbreakable," "Heaven-sent Justice," "Revolving Lantern," "Blossom."

And "Falling Stars," "Horizontal Tailoring," "A Well No One Can Peek Into," "Ball of Whim," "Death of the Holder," "Backstab," "Ideal Skin," "Staff Notation."

Plus the Suitcase Man’s statue "The Perfect Man," and three lent to Yan Jiayu.

Five new Rank A Props added are as follows:

Additional reward "Perfect Aid," a white ring the size of a dragon’s eye that can attach to swords and weapons props, enhancing their attack power by several tis. For example, the Black Blade’s attack, originally confined to blade slashing range, can apply this prop to exercise cutting ability similar to spatial rays, extending the slashing range to hundreds of ters instantly.
