Chapter 1533: Chapter 1534: Upright Morals

If White Challenger One wasn’t fully invested in the previous battles, once the “Magician” card appeared, he finally beca serious. Though it was just a robot, the aura it emitted was unusual, instinctively making him decide to retreat imdiately, and he contracted the black card barrier to surround himself.

The “Magician” is a Rank-B prop, but it was crafted by the Magician himself, with base stats set to half of the Magician’s strength. Even a Rank-A player has a fighting chance against a minute of efficient combat, which is why White Challenger One chose to withdraw for a brief mont.

This was the opportunity Xu Huo had been waiting for!

The never-before-used “Everything Wants to Slice” suddenly appeared around White Challenger One, aiming solely to cut through his defensive barrier. Since “Everything Wants to Slice” is also a Space-Ti Item, its effectiveness uncertain, he wielded the Spatial Blade to exert pressure, additionally bringing out the “City Sandbox” while extending the scope of the Spiritual World to a fifty-ter radius.

Opportunities often need luck and a long wait, but seizing them is a thrilling process, both extended and brief:

The effect of “Everything Wants to Slice” was diminished, yet it broke through the black card barrier, penetrating three barrier layers before being stuck by a prop, unable to get further. The Spatial Blade, capable of being created anywhere anyti, followed the secant line through the gap, weakening the barrier between them with faint force. Then, the black blade ford by compressed psychic power pierced along the gap, effortlessly slicing through White Challenger One’s mobile defense prop, targeting him at an oblique angle to his lower left waist!

This series of attacks happened almost simultaneously, but it wasn’t over. Xu Huo prepared for two rounds of Materialized Item attacks; if the first failed, he would use the “City Sandbox” to forcibly relocate White Challenger One to his designated attack site while his defensive barrier remained unstable…

The result ca quickly as White Challenger One turned and grasped the materialized blade ford by psychic power.

Both were sowhat surprised when holding the materialized item; White Challenger One was astonished that it turned liquid, while Xu Huo was surprised to find such an opportunity delivered to his doorstep—he imdiately manipulated the materialized power to slice around White Challenger One’s wrist!

“Buzz!” As White Challenger One pressed the button on his chest, the disturbed psychic power rapidly weakened, eventually reverting to liquid, leaving only a shallow blood mark on his wrist.

“Turns out he’s still a Super Evolutionary with ntal Powers.” When White Challenger One turned around, he was already clear of Xu Huo’s psychic power range. He abruptly stretched the distance to a kiloter, then quickly retracted it the next mont, using this stretch-and-retract thod to guard against psychic power interference—neither giving Xu Huo ti to operate nor providing conditions for psychic power to have an effect!

In terms of speed, Xu Huo absolutely couldn’t compete with him. ntal interference couldn’t work, which rendered the “City Sandbox” ineffective. After storing away the props, he again utilized spatial power to evade attacks.

But this ti, White Challenger One’s attacks intensified; even with the “Magician,” Xu Huo could barely cope, suffering injuries twice before being knocked down by the opponent.

His body blasted through three buildings like a cannonball before slowing, and upon entering the fourth building, he sensed soone appearing behind him, forcibly changing direction to evade the person, almost bracing himself against the opposite wall.

The remaining force cracked the wall with several fissures, causing several nearby glass windows to shatter entirely with a crashing sound, as White Challenger One also entered this level.

Their entry point was the eighteenth floor, inside an office building, where cubicles were pushed to the corners, with three barbecue grills and several baskets of ingredients set up in the cleared space in the middle. Amidst the sizzle of oil, six players busily and skillfully grilled food.

A small woman with an apple hairstyle sat beside with a plate. As Xu Huo and White Challenger One entered one after the other, her mouth was still stuffed full.

The aroma of food tantalized everyone’s sense of sll. The players in charge of grilling didn’t pause, and Xu Huo and White Challenger One, standing against opposite walls, didn’t move either. Only the small woman sitting in the middle continued chewing fiercely, swallowing her food before adjusting her glasses to look back at White Challenger One.

“Have your ‘Guile Sound Knights’ given up not just their humanity but also their dignity?” A cute mouth spewed bitter words, “Bullying kids at your age?”

White Challenger One wasn’t in a better position, maintaining a smile as he slightly bowed to her, “It’s better than so people who pretend to be young despite their age. Does the fake mask hide all your wrinkles?”

Their faces were full of smiles showing utmost goodwill, but their gaze was sharp as blades. After a brief silence, they simultaneously moved, though White Challenger One’s prop was blocked, while he himself was enveloped within a circle outlined by the woman’s thumb and index finger, directly disappearing from the space!

Nobody knew where he was sent, but he was certainly nowhere near.

Spatial Labyrinth, Rank-A Spatial Props, perhaps this woman before them is also a Super Evolver.

“These young people’s words nowadays are so unpleasant to hear.” The small woman placed her plate down, the light clink causing the six players in front to tremble simultaneously, yet she remained indifferent, turning to beckon Xu Huo, “Kid, co sit down.”

A woman who appeared no older than her early twenties, with an apple-style hairdo, glasses, and a quiet yet vibrant youthful dress, beckoning him “kid” felt awkward no matter how one considered it.

Xu Huo walked over and sat down, quickly receiving a plate of grilled food, “Grandma offers you so.”

“Thank you, Grandma.” Xu Huo responded fluidly, “After running around in the ga for so many days, most of the ti we’re eating dry rations.”

The small woman smiled warmly at him, “Young people need to eat well.”

“I see you’re quite capable, using spatial and psychic powers at such a young age. Even White Challenger One suffered under your hand; it sounds hilarious.”

Xu Huo followed her lead and laughed, “I almost risked my life.”

“No, no,” the small woman waved her hand, “I noticed you early on; even if you hadn’t co, I would’ve rescued you.”

Xu Huo was puzzled, “We shouldn’t have t before, right?”

“I find you agreeable and White Challenger One disagreeable; why would I let you die at his hands?” The small woman tapped the table, prompting the three players in front to imdiately turn, each offering a plate of grilled food before retreating.

“Talented individuals like you are rare in the ga. Grandma, I have a correct outlook. Those who are sensible can be guided; those who aren’t can be educated. If educating fails, killing them solves the problem, sparing others from harm.”
