1001: Chapter 1001: One Against Three

“Sure!” Brother Lei yelled from behind, clapping his hands in the air.

A transparent protective shield extended around him from where his feet stood, however, it barely reached Dong Jingxuan before it was shattered by the high-speed passing tunnel—the Prop had no effect, and the Player driving the Prop vehicle pressed a button at the front of the vehicle, shooting out a tal net that sealed the door of the second carriage.

At the sa ti, those passengers who had been knocked down by the Potion got back on their feet under the control of the invisible Players and stumbled towards Brother Lei and the others!

These were ordinary people under soone’s control, so Brother Lei and his group’s first reaction was to restrain them, but there were simply too many people.

These people clustered together in the carriage, and failing to achieve their goal, they started jumping down onto the tracks of Carriage Four in a lined queue—the high-speed moving train could crush tal seats, let alone people?

Puffs of blood mist hadn’t dispersed before they disappeared into the darkness, forcing Brother Lei’s group to fend off the invisible Players while trying to save people.

“Son of a bitch!

Treating people’s lives like nothing!” The square-faced man cursed loudly.

“Forget them!” Brother Lei opened a Defensive Barrier to catch the lting tal dripping from above the train, then charging bravely with a long knife to the tal net and slashing down, but his slash couldn’t break through the Prop.

The seemingly sturdy tal net rebounded upon force, shaking Brother Lei and sending him flying back!

The three square-faced individuals behind him also used different Props to try breaking through but to no avail—the opponent’s Props had an extraordinary effect in the narrow confines of the train.

“What should we do?

Should we destroy the train?” the conciliatory Player asked.

Since the opponent’s Prop depended on the train, by destroying the walls of the train, they too would be unable to act.

Brother Lei’s gaze shifted left and right, clearly ready to make a move, but before he could act, Mr.

Chang standing at the control compartnt raised one hand and made a dismissing gesture.

All of a sudden, Brother Lei’s group of four in Carriage Two, the five Players in Carriage Four, and so passengers involuntarily flew out and landed in Carriage Five!

As they gained distance, the invisible Player seized the opportunity to take the remaining passengers into Carriage Three.

At the sa ti, he threw a tal ball onto the corridor ceiling, from which a large amount of liquid tal poured out, quickly solidifying after blocking the entire corridor, forming a three-ter-thick tal door.

The sound of attacks was incessant from outside, but even with Brother Lei’s long knife, it was impossible to hack through three ters of solid plate, while the invisible Player was free to thicken the door at will.

Sa as before, both the driving Player and the invisible Player maximally utilized their Props on the train.

“Now we only have one person to deal with.” The invisible Player calmly entered Carriage Two.

Mr.

Chang then turned his gaze to Xu Huo.

Xu Huo had not yet expressed his stance, Dong Jingxuan observing the expressions of both sides, first questioned Mr.

Chang’s trio, “Do you know who I am?”

“As if we can say your na and not know who you are?” the driving Player half-jokingly remarked, leaning on the steering wheel: “No one can save you right now, you might as well cooperate with us, perhaps you might be left a whole corpse.”

Dong Jingxuan beca sowhat frightened, “My parents, and my family will not let you go!”

None of the three took his threats seriously—if they really feared the Dong Family’s influence, why would they hijack the train?

Mr.

Chang addressed Xu Huo, “It seems this friend wants to play the hero.”

“I’ve been paid.” Xu Huo spoke for the first ti, blandly stating, “Paid to do a job, having

hand over people goes against my professional ethics.”

Everyone present, even including a boy whose legs were not as long as his, couldn’t help but turn to look at him.

Mr.

Chang even burst out laughing before giving a nod to the invisible Player, whose pocket watch flew up once more.

Though the power of the Prop began to disperse, it initially had no effect on Xu Huo, who had not only had no effect, but also turned back and looked at the other man.

That one look made the invisible Player feel as if a pair of huge eyes had opened right in front of him.

He involuntarily reeled back, but upon regathering his senses and realizing Xu Huo was still standing in the sa spot, his expression changed drastically as he commanded, “Kill him!”

The passengers standing behind him, like wandering souls, rushed into the second carriage, but instead of attacking Xu Huo as ordered by the invisible Player, they charged past him!

After dodging the incoming attack from a fruit knife, the invisible Player was shocked, glancing back and forth between his controlled targets and Xu Huo, “You tampered with them!”

Xu Huo, who had not moved an inch from his spot, replied, “You said it yourself, what does it have to do with ?”

While this was said casually, the invisible Player realized that Xu Huo must also excel in mind control, “No wonder Props are useless against you!”

The voice had barely faded before he donned the Invisibility Cloak, attempting to hide among the passengers.

Unfortunately, just a second ago, passengers were wielding tools stabbing wildly at him, and the next second, they all dropped their tools, so even started dancing on the spot.

Tools no longer useful, the invisible Player piled on Props that hid his movents and sounds as he moved through the carriage, but as the distance between them closed to three ters, Xu Huo, who seed utterly unaware, precisely pinpointed his location and, in a swift assault, grabbed his neck and slamd him into the carriage wall opposite!

With a loud “Bang!”, the invisible Player struck a big dent in the carriage wall, his silhouette hidden by the Invisibility Cloak, so only a spurt of blood could be seen splashing onto Xu Huo’s hand, but Xu Huo showed no change in expression as he hoisted him up and lunged at the driving Player who was still seated in the car!

Unable to ignore his companion’s plight, the driving Player retracted the car Prop, tossing out a “Decisive Breakup” making the invisible Player slip from Xu Huo’s grasp, but Xu Huo didn’t care and in a flash, reappeared in front of the him!

The driving Player just managed to protect his body with a Defense Prop when he was hit with a sweeping leg to the head, driving his head deep into a heap of broken seats.

As he was about to pursue further, Mr.

Chang suddenly raised his hand, “Step back!”

“Unassailable Territory” instantly enclosed Xu Huo, yet even so, he was thrown back against the sealed door of Carriage Two by the force.

Walking out from the cascading lted tal, he pointed his hand, and the floor of Carriage One swiftly shifted to the sides, causing Dong Jingxuan and the boy to involuntarily move towards Carriage Two, allowing the driving Player who took the opportunity to snatch them to miss his target.

“Spatial Artifact?” Noticing this, Mr.

Chang’s eyes darkened, and he made a similar hand gesture to dismiss Xu Huo, but although his hand was raised, Xu Huo on the other side didn’t even take a half step back:

Xu Huo leaned slightly forward, moving at a speed invisible to the naked eye through three carriages, charging towards Mr.

Chang and delivering a punch right to his glasses!
