"Tianyu and Qingyu, this ti you two must be careful. Do not let your guard down."

The next day, Chen Xingzhen looked at the clansn, who were fully prepared, and gave them a warning.

Although the mission was arduous and dangerous, Chen Xingzhen did not send all the clan mbers. Instead, he appointed Chen Tianyu and Chen Qingyu to lead the team.

In addition to the two leaders, there were several clansn at the Blood Coagulation Realm, as well as two or three at the Body Tempering Realm.

Ordinarily, sending Body Tempering cultivators on such a perilous mission would be inappropriate. However, many of the clan’s elders were advanced in age and rich in experience yet only at the Body Tempering stage. Bringing them along would help identify certain things and prevent mistakes.

Chen Xingzhen and Chen Tianjing would remain behind to handle clan affairs.

After all, the clan was short-handed—every place needed soone to keep watch.

"Clan Leader, I understand!"

Chen Tianyu replied solemnly.

"Good. Then set out. If you need anything, you can send soone back at any ti.”

After all, the ancient relic was close to the clan’s territory. With the clan’s green wolves, the round trip would take only one or two hours.

The group didn’t linger any longer. They prepared to leave the clan and head toward Chaotic Burial Mountain.

Just then, a voice suddenly rang out beside them.

“Clan Leader, we want to go too!”

"Yeah, we're going as well!"

Chen Tianjing looked at Chen Qinghe and Chen Qingng, who had sohow appeared out of nowhere, and his calm expression quickly vanished.

This little brat! He hasn't even settled down yet, and now he's itching for trouble again!

He imdiately barked:

"Go back and study hard! Practice your martial arts! Clan affairs are no place for you to ddle.”

Chen Qinghe didn’t dare talk back. Instead, he turned to Chen Xingzhen and said,

"Clan Leader, we went there once before, so we have so experience. If we go again, we can help the others get familiar with the situation inside. Don’t you think so?"

"Yeah, we've got experience!"

Chen Qingng added confidently.

This made Chen Xingzhen, who had originally intended to refuse, hesitate for a mont. After thinking about it, he decided that letting the two of them go might not be a bad idea.

Seeing this, Chen Tianjing was stunned. Then, he quickly spoke up: “Clan Leader, their cultivation is too low. I’m afraid they won’t be able to handle the dangers inside.”

After listening, Chen Xingzhen nodded slightly.

But Chen Qinghe imdiately said,

"Patriarch, when the ti cos, Qingng and I will stay behind with Brother Qingyu and the others. We won't put ourselves in danger."

Before Chen Tianjing could speak again, Chen Xingzhen quickly replied.

"All right, you can go too, but make sure you protect yourselves."

Seeing the patriarch agree, joy spread across the faces of Chen Qinghe and Chen Qingng.

After studying at the academy for so long, Chen Qinghe had learned how to avoid his father’s beatings: get the patriarch to approve their actions and give his consent willingly.

This way, his father would have nothing to say!

Off to the side, Chen Tianjing let out a light snort. However, since the patriarch had spoken, he truly had no more objections.

After all these days of learning, this little brat has definitely beco a lot more cunning.

The group didn't linger and soon left the clan grounds.

Chen Tianjing remained behind, looking sowhat worried.

Chen Xingzhen smiled and reassured him.

“Tianjing, Qinghe is a clever and resourceful child. There’s no need to worry. Besides, with Qingyu around, the two of them will be fine. They’re not that young anymore, and they’ve learned a lot at the academy recently. It’s ti for them to go out and gain so real experience.”

Hearing this, Chen Tianjing’s expression eased considerably.

Indeed, how can a fledgling sheltered under wings ever learn to soar against the wind?

“This is the place!”

Soon, the group arrived at the spot where Chen Qinghe and Chen Qingng had fallen last ti—the mouth of the cave.

Staring into the deep, lightless pit, Chen Qingyu turned to Chen Tianyu and the others. "I'll go down first," he said.

"If it's safe, I'll tug the rope, and then you can follow."

"Alright!"

Chen Tianyu nodded.

Before coming here, Chen Qingyu had explained the strange phenonon of this place: voices from below could not reach the surface, but the rope connecting them should pose no problem.

With that, Chen Qingyu leapt forward, his body drifting toward the cave like a feather on the wind.

His graceful descent made Chen Qinghe and Chen Qingng look on with envy, though they still felt that tumbling down the hole would be more exciting.

Soon after Chen Qingyu disappeared into the darkness, a faint shout echoed from below.

"You can co down now."

This left Chen Tianyu and the others stunned. Hadn't they been told that voices couldn't travel up from below?

Still, they quickly gripped the rope and descended into the depths.

Although the clan had already cleared this place and it was no longer considered dangerous, they had agreed to take precautions. One clansman remained outside as a lookout—just in case. If anything unusual happened below, he could rush back to the clan and deliver the ssage.

Ordinarily, such asures wouldn’t be necessary. After all, with the divine tree’s power so strong now, a single prayer could send word to the clan from as far away as a thousand miles.

However, given the peculiar nature of this ancient ruin, the clan preferred to prepare for every possibility.

Once they reached the bottom, everyone took out the luminous stones they had brought along.

The clan purchased these luminous stones in Yong’an City, which was far more convenient than using fire strikers. Once several stones were placed around the area, they quickly illuminated the surroundings, allowing the group to see clearly.

Visiting for the first ti, Chen Tianyu and the others ran their hands along the smooth stone walls, surprise flickering across their faces.

The walls were polished and uniform, with an incredibly hard texture—and there seed to be plenty of them here.

If we could use these for the clan’s outer walls, our defenses would improve by leaps and bounds.

The mont this idea was suggested, the clansn present nodded in agreent and praised the idea.

"As expected of an ancient ruin—the first thing we find is sothing valuable!"

"Why don't we call the others now, widen the entrance, and start hauling these slabs back?"

"There's no need to rush. Let's look around so more first."

“Wait—this soil seems unusual. Hold on; let

take a closer look.”

At that mont, an elderly clansman slowly crouched down and used the glow of the luminous stone to examine the earth beneath his feet.

Apparently, just looking wasn’t enough. Soon, he scooped up a handful of soil, grinding it between his fingers and occasionally bringing it to his nose for a sharp sniff.

After a mont, his eyes lit up.

"That's it! This soil is called Guanyin Soil. It can only form under very specific conditions. When placed beneath dicinal herbs, it can greatly accelerate their growth. Even rare spiritual plants and heavenly treasures would benefit imnsely.”

"I rember the clan once having a tiny piece of this. It was a rare treasure."

The elder began to speak at length, his eyes filled with nostalgia. Two other elders nearby soon joined in, and the three of them chatted enthusiastically, completely absorbed in their discussion.

Upon hearing this, the other clansn couldn’t hide their delight.

“As expected of an ancient ruin—so many good things here!”

“Better not tempt fate. Let's call the others now, widen the entrance, and haul these stone slabs and soil back!"

"I'm thinking the sa."

Off to the side, Chen Qinghe and Chen Qingng stared blankly. They glanced at the smooth stone walls and then at the soil beneath their feet. They scratched their heads in confusion.

"Ahem... Uncles, how about we move on a little further? We can have the clan co back later to haul these things ho.”

Seeing that they had barely stepped inside when the elders stopped, Chen Tianyu couldn’t help but speak up.
