"Hmm, this mythic Serpent monster is guarded by two sacred ones, Guilliman and Jemie, dispatch them as fast as you can and flank the Serpent" Thane commanded at the top of his lungs as the attack comnced.
There were five mythic beasts in the horde, without the help of Dorn or the wayfarer, it would be nearly impossible to kill this thing, so in as much as they were attacking it, they were truly just biding for ti so they wayfarer steelwolf would get enough ti to co help them.
"Hm!!" Guilliman nodded as he had Jemie went in two different directions with a couple of other slayers. A majority of the slayers here knew Guiliman so they had no problem following him into battle,
However, they barely knew Jemie, which only ant that he would have to prove himself.
With a wave of his hand, he pulled out a shimring saber with a red hilt and a curve of awe imposing might. Being left behind had left a bitter taste in Jemies mouth, driving him to fight more viciously to maintain his position.
He had gotten this sacred weapon during their week long raids in clawwood forest, pulling him to the sa level as everyone else.
"You guys only need to pull its attention, I will handle killing the thing" Jemie spoke with indifference as his entire body was soon engulfed by light granting him incredible speed.
Woosh
Before anyone could even notice, he flashed onto the back of the sacred serpent and cut down with his sword aiming to sever its head in one strike.
However, he wasn't so stupid to think killing a sacred beast would be like a walk in the park. The only reason they weren't allowed to hunt sacred beasts was because they were roughly as powerful as those capped at yellow.
A group of level 5 Slayers upwards could kill one quiet easily, but just one person was hard.
Feeling the sharpness of the Saber hovering around its neck, the serpent quickly coiled out of the way of the slash and bite at Jemies figure.
Fortunately, with his class aspect ability, Jemie was able to quickly dodge glowing with light and shimring down to the base of the serpent.
"Distract it!!" The other slayers on Jemies imdiate group shouted, pulling out man made bows and aiming it at the sacred beast from a distance.
Coordination
This was the key for slayers, they all knew that no one slayer could keep getting kills so they knew how to compromise. Of course there was a chance that one of their arrows would claim the beasts life.
It was a pretty nice trade.
"Hm!!" Jemie nodded seeing as the volley of arrows rained down. He soon tensed up and looked to the other battlefield where Guilliman could be seen standing on severed head of the sacred serpent.
'He's still faster than " Jemie smiled, it was no longer a matter of pure speed though, Jemies class aspect allowed him to esclipe guilliman in Speed.
No this was another type of speed.
Or one would say efficiency, Guilliman could quickly kill beasts finding their weaknesses before anyone else could.
It was admirable, and infuriating at the sa ti.
"Faster!!" Jemie flashed his body thrown through the air as he slide past its neck slashing through it and causing it to bleed slowly suffocating from its own blood.
Brutal and risky.
The whole purpose of attack the beast with arrows was to distract it from the front allowing Jemie to finish it from
The back. But for so reason, Jemie just now put himself in the line of arrow fire to get a quick kill.
"Hmm, asly few points" watching the sacred serpent convulse and die from blood gushing through its throat, Jemie comnted about the amount of gene points.
The stronger the beca the less effective kills from lower ranked beasts beca.
"Anyway" raising his head to where Guilliman stood he signaled to him.
Guilliman signaled back then looked to the much more massive serpent not too far away.
Thane and the rest were struggling with that beast.
"Let's go" guilliman said to his group that had barely participated in the previous kill.
"Your horse is dead" one of them comnted. In as much as that move Guilliman did was incredible, a move that shook them to their cores, it was reckless and had cost the life of his horse.
"Ehhhn, it seems so" Guilliman stared at corpse of his dead horse and shook his head, it was not even his, it belonged to the Silversteins.
"Nevermind, I'll ride sothing else" Guilliman smiled stretching his hand forward as he called out.
"Ghost!"
All of a sudden, an apparition of a wolf with blue shimring fur appeared right next to the head of the serpent.
This was ghost
The first beast he had summoned had undergone obvious changes as he beca more powerful. Now it had the ability to change its size at will…to a certain extent.
"Okay let's go" searing comfortably on the back of the Dire wolf Soul summon, Guilliman gave the order riding off towards the main battle while leaving his n dumbfounded.
Did they just see him summon a beast out of thin air? When did this beco normal?
"We should get going…things like this are none of our business" the slayer said.
They were temporary allies after all, plus this kid seed to be sohow related to Thane Blacksteel hence his appointnt to kill this beast.
Woosh
Using the montum and affinty of the direwolf soul to wind, Guiliman moved at lightening speed dashing through the ground as he took a turn to the side of the mythical beast.
A flank
Surprise attack from either the left, right or back of an enemy, he didn't know much but battle tactics were well massaged into his very bones.
Harnessing all the strength they could muster, both Guilliman and Jemie appeared on the sides of the mythic serpent and struck at it with all their strength, sending a sudden shock through it.
"It's now or never!!" Thane barked as Barthold and several other tanks barrelled forward at almost the sa side attacking the beast from the front.
One hundred n, so harassing from a distance, so drawing its attention every so often from the side, and the tanks taking several brunts of its attacks.
They had successfully pinned down this beast.
