The finals of the High School Cup in Frosthollow Province were in full swing on the battle arena.

When it saw its companions, who joined the team later than itself, all evolve and gain strength, shining brightly in battles, its mindset began to change.
Jacob could understand Noibat's emotional imbalance and responded to Noibat in his mind: "Noibat, no matter when, you are my starter partner, and one of my most important partners."
"Without you, there would be no Dragon-type Trainer Jacob today."
If it weren't for Noibat, Jacob might not have embarked on the path of a Dragon-type Trainer, he wouldn't have co to the League Dragon-type Secret Realm, and none of what followed would have happened.
Because of Noibat, he began his journey to beco a Dragon-type Trainer.
"You will always be my most important partner."
While Jacob was communicating with Noibat, Ariana was also looking at her Excadrill. Excadrill, which had taken a Heat Wave, was still in good condition.
This was also because Noibat's special attack ability was not strong. Even with the double bonus of Sunny Day and Life Orb, Noibat's special attack was still inferior to Charizard. Although it caused so damage to Excadrill, it was not fatal.

"Is that Hyper Voice?" Qin Yunxin was wondering, when suddenly she saw it, amidst this Hyper Voice.
Noibat, filled with a strong desire for evolution, began to glow with dazzling light, enveloping its body.
Noibat, flying in the sky, was as dazzling as a brilliant sun, and the light continuously transford and elongated its body.
"This is evolution!" Julio's exclamation rang out.
"I didn't expect Noibat to evolve at this mont! On the stage of the finals, Noibat actually started to evolve. One must know that the gap between Noibat and its evolved form, Noivern, is simply a world apart."
"Let's see if Noibat, which is at a disadvantage, can complete a coback in the match by evolving at this ti."
The crowd below also held their breath, watching the match intently.
If one looked closely, many of Jacob's old acquaintances could be seen in the audience: Sylas, the Flying-type Heavenly King from the Southwest region; Raya, the Fairy-type Heavenly King from the East China region; and Maximus, the Dragon-type Heavenly King from the North China region, all ca to watch today's match.
"Stop, Excadrill."
Ariana also had Excadrill stop at this ti. This was also an unwritten rule in battle matches: when one side's Pokémon evolves during a match, the other side must stop attacking to avoid interrupting the evolution.
The light shattered!
The evolved Noivern revealed its majestic appearance, raising its head and letting out a clear cry.
Its large ears had green ripples inside, and a ring of white fur grew around its neck. It had a pair of large bat wings, black on the inside and purple on the outside, with teal wing mbranes and two red claws on them.
Its pair of vertical pupils stared at Excadrill, with ferocity and intensity in its gaze.
After evolving, Noivern's personality also undergoes a huge change, becoming fierce, combative, and aggressive.
"Excadrill, Rock Slide!"
"Noivern, use Draco teor!" Jacob looked at the evolved Noivern, his eyes filled with mories.
The Noibat that used to act cute in his arms and liked to lie on his head had finally evolved into an independent Noivern.
Unfortunately, the previous battle had left Noivern severely wounded and its stamina critically low, otherwise, it would have had a great chance of defeating Excadrill.
But now, Noivern only had enough stamina to use one move, so Jacob chose to have Noivern use its powerful Dragon-type move, Draco teor. Even though he knew Excadrill had Protect, he still had to use Draco teor.
Only a high-pitched howl from Noivern was heard, and its entire body's Dragon Energy burned like raging flas. Jacob, the Dragon-type Trainer, finally had a Dragon-type Pokémon that could hold its own.
The surging Dragon Energy, boosted by its Dragon-type power and the Life Orb, beca even more intense, forming a beam of energy that soared into the sky.
"Boom!"
Several teors descended from the sky, burning with flas as they plumted to the ground, striking the earth.
"Excadrill, use Protect!"
Ariana calmly commanded Excadrill. Upon receiving the order, Excadrill imdiately raised a light shield in front of itself, blocking the falling teors.
Facing Noivern's full-power Draco teor, Ariana did not dare to let Excadrill take it head-on. She also knew that she only needed Excadrill to block Draco teor with Protect, and Noivern, whose special attack would be greatly lowered after using Draco teor, would no longer pose any threat to Excadrill.
Looking at Excadrill using Protect, Jacob's expression also beca serious, but he quickly accepted it. It was impossible for him to be at an advantage in every match.
At this point, Noivern, carrying a Life Orb and constantly losing stamina, had reached its limit. After unleashing its final Draco teor, Noivern flapped its wings weakly, already on the verge of collapse.
"Excadrill, use Rock Slide!"
As Ariana's voice rang out, a huge rock approached, exploding as it flew towards Noivern. The fragnted rocks struck Noivern's body, taking away Noivern's last bit of stamina.
Noivern fell from the sky and collapsed, having lost its ability to battle.
"Noivern is unable to battle! Excadrill wins the first round!"
Jacob looked at Noivern and softly said in his mind, "You did very well. Co back, Noivern."
Jacob then took out a Poké Ball and recalled Noivern.
"This result is still unfortunate. Even though Noibat evolved into Noivern, it had sustained too much damage earlier, and its stamina was severely depleted." Julio sighed and said, "If it could have evolved a little earlier, the outco of this match would be uncertain."
"Ariana is still too calm. That Protect move was used perfectly, avoiding Noivern's powerful Draco teor."
"Now the situation is becoming increasingly unfavorable for Jacob."
