Rover pointed at the Rinascita Carnival date listed below the forum.
"The festival is still a while away. No need to rush."
"Let's rest for a bit. If sothing else cos up, we might not even go to Rinascita."
Callya chuckled: "So you're staying at the Black Shores for a few days?"
Rover shook her head slightly: "Not necessarily. Knowing Lucian's personality, he'll probably head back to Jinzhou to find those won he's close with."
Her words dripped with jealousy.
Lucian pondered: "Actually, we don't need to go back to Jinzhou. Inviting them to our Sonoro Sphere would be more convenient, right?"
Rover: "Are you tired of living?"
Callya sighed, watching the two flirt: "I never expected that, just arriving at the Black Shores, Shorekeeper would trust you so much."
Lucian recalled: "Speaking of which, it's because you not only ruined my plans but even tried to fight ."
"Otherwise, I might not have been brought to Shorekeeper so soon."
Rover looked at Callya warily: "That happened?"
Callya felt wronged: "Rover, you're not upset about
ruining his plans but bla ? I was helping you!"
Rover crossed her arms, her expression cold: "Regardless, it's my family matter, and you shouldn't interfere."
Callya trembled with anger, wondering what spell Lucian had cast to make Rover so protective.
Lucian said cautiously: "You're not going to draw your sword on
again, are you?"
Though Lucian's current strength ensured he could defeat Callya, he didn't want conflict.
After all, Shorekeeper had stopped their fight to prevent further escalation.
As a mber of the Black Shores, he didn't want to trouble Shorekeeper.
From the earlier scene in the flower room, Shorekeeper clearly valued Callya, despite her… eccentricity.
Callya glanced at Lucian and snorted: "Since we're colleagues, I won't do anything to you without reason."
"But if you provoke , I'll still act. I do things as I please, and the Black Shores can't stop ."
"But as they say, you don't know soone until you fight them. Let's say that ti in Taoyuan Vale was our introduction."
Lucian paused, recalling Shorekeeper ntioning that Callya was sowhat familiar with his past self…
Could Callya, like Rover, have lost mories?
Callya did say she had so impression of him, but without clear mory fragnts, it was very vague.
And during her treatnt, he noticed her extrely unstable frequency state…
Before Lucian could think further, Shorekeeper appeared out of nowhere.
"Shorekeeper? Didn't you say you had to handle the aftermath?" Rover asked, puzzled.
Lucian examined Shorekeeper and guessed: "This must be Shorekeeper's avatar, right?"
Rover was surprised: "How did you know?"
Since the New World teor fused with Lucian's body, he'd felt a faint connection or sense with Shorekeeper.
He faintly sensed her main body wasn't here, so he identified the avatar.
Lucian said smugly: "Maybe it's what you call a spiritual connection?"
Rover: "?"
Shorekeeper nodded slightly: "Mr. Lucian is correct. This is my avatar."
Lucian: "Did sothing happen?"
Shorekeeper replied: "Do you rember Beatrice?"
Lucian recalled: "Beatrice? If I'm not mistaken, she's the director of the Error Cell, right?"
Shorekeeper nodded: "Yes, I'm here to relay her ssage."
"She needs your help. Though my avatar could handle it, I think it's better if you take care of it."
Lucian found it odd: "Us? Is this matter special?"
Shorekeeper: "Yes, do you rember what I told you about 'Lady Flora' when you entered the crystal?"
Callya's heart tightened, her lips pursing slightly.
Rover said warily: "Lady Flora?"
Lucian mused: "The Lady Flora… is she still alive?"
After the Death Star was destroyed, the consciousnesses of those trapped inside were stored with Rover's Speaker.
Preparing a vessel to restore those consciousnesses would take ti.
While most chose liberation, a few opted to stay at the Black Shores.
Hoda was one of them. Was Lady Flora another?
Shorekeeper nodded slightly: "She wasn't caught in the Death Star. She's still alive."
"For specifics, please go see for yourself."
Rover said alertly: "I'm going too!"
Shorekeeper cleared her throat: "Rover, I have so matters I'd like your opinion on. Could you co with ?"
Rover: "???"
Sothing was off, very off—nine out of ten levels of off.
Rover saw through it instantly: Shorekeeper was trying to sideline her.
She suspected it was related to Lady Flora.
Lucian was once part of the Black Shores, and with Shorekeeper saying Lady Flora was alive…
There was only one truth!
Lucian must have had a connection with Lady Flora, and since she's alive, Shorekeeper wanted Lucian to find her!
Rover's lips curved: "Whatever it is, we'll talk later. I'm going with Lucian!"
Shorekeeper pursed her lips. Though Rover was her superior, she said: "It's about… Abby."
Rover raised an eyebrow: "Abby? Did sothing happen to Abby?"
Rover felt puzzled, lifting her right hand to call the Tacet Mark on it: "Abby… Abby…"
But Abby didn't respond.
Lucian said curiously: "Is Abby asleep?"
"Strange, he ate a lot last night…"
Rover recalled: "Now that you ntion it, since arriving at the Black Shores, Abby's been staying in the Tacet Mark most of the ti…"
Lucian speculated: "Could it be hosickness?"
Rover was speechless: "I'd rather believe he's just not full."
