Charlie followed Royman through a corridor restricted to all but Guild staff.

Along the way, Guild workers carrying stacks of docunts would pause briefly, bowing respectfully to the Guild Master.

(For the Guild Master to personally escort …) Charlie glanced at Royman's short figure walking ahead.

Speculations about the identity of the person who wanted to et him swirled in his mind. This only confused him more, as he had never interacted with the Guild's higher-ups, except for selling Space-Ti Caches in the past.

In fact, Charlie had forgotten he'd t Royman during the Space-Ti Cache transactions.

There was no helping it.

Compared to beautiful won who left an impression on his mind, Charlie tended to forget n he'd only t once.

Who would bother rembering the na of a man they t just once?

Plus, he assud there'd be no further etings with Royman, so he simply forgot him.

Perhaps sensing Charlie's unfamiliarity, Royman reintroduced himself.

(Maybe the Guild's Main God is interested in

because I reached Level 4 in just a month?) Charlie mused.

His strength had indeed been exposed during the incident in the Pleasure District. It was impossible for a re Level 2 adventurer to cause trouble in Ishtar Familia's territory without anyone noticing. Moreover, the commotion had been witnessed by many male guests in the Pleasure District.

As a result, Charlie received a summons from the Guild to disclose his true level. Failure to comply would lead to the revocation of his adventurer status and a ban from entering Babel Tower.

In the end, before embarking on his Dungeon expedition, Charlie visited the Guild and told Rose his level was Level 4, but he didn't want to update his information yet since he'd soon reach Level 5 after returning from the expedition.

It was impossible for the Guild's higher-ups not to have received Rose's report. So, Charlie suspected his unnatural leveling speed had caught their attention.

Who wouldn't covet a secret thod to level up so quickly?

(Maybe not.)

Charlie shifted his gaze to Aishia and Est walking beside him.

(There's also the possibility they're interested in Aishia and Est.)

Spirits were closely associated with the heroes of the Age of Heroes, long before the gods descended to the lower world, spreading Falna and ushering in the Age of Gods that persists to this day.

In the current Age of Gods, spirits chose to isolate themselves from the world. Now, humanoid spirits stood by Charlie's side. For gods craving entertainnt, their presence was bound to spark discussion.

(Enough. Stop overthinking. I'll find out soon enough.)

Charlie finally gave up guessing who the important figure wanting to et him was.

◆━??????━◆

Royman continued guiding Charlie, Aishia, and Est. They passed several more turns before arriving at a long corridor.

The floor was covered with a red carpet adorned with gold trim, exuding luxury and elegance.

Sturdy pillars lined both sides of the corridor, and at its end, Charlie could see a grand staircase leading downward.

Royman stopped to the side, gesturing for Charlie and the two spirits to proceed alone.

"I'll escort you this far. Walk straight ahead; Ouranos awaits you on the other side."

(Ouranos? Is that the na of the Main God who founded the Guild?)

Ouranos, in Greek mythology, was the god of the sky, the personification of the heavens, considered one of the primordial gods born from Gaia.

Of course, Charlie knew the gods in the mythology of his previous life were vastly different from those in the Danmachi world. He couldn't rely on his mythological knowledge as a reference.

And the reincarnator's advantage of knowing the plot?

What a joke!

Charlie had only watched the first season of Danmachi, so his limited knowledge offered little significant advantage.

"Understood."

Nodding lightly, Charlie descended the wide staircase, with Aishia and Est at his sides.

The corridor was lit by the faint glow of magic lamps, but the deeper they went, the darker the surroundings beca.

A few minutes later, Charlie and the two spirits reached the end of the corridor. They stepped into a vast chamber.

The floor was covered with precisely cut stone slabsmaking it a hidden chamber beneath a sacred place of worship.

No magic lamps illuminated the space. Instead, the dim chamber was lit by four torches placed on pillars at each corner, their flas casting dancing shadows on the plain stone walls, creating a mysterious and sacred atmosphere.

At the center of the plaza ford by the torches stood an altar. It resembled a massive, ancient stone throne, and atop it sat an imposing elderly god. His blue eyes reflected the faint torchlight from beneath his hood as he gazed down at Charlie and his companions.

A thick, hooded robe concealed most of the god's fra, which stood over two ters tall. Deep wrinkles etched his distinct features, while a long white mustache grew from his chin. A few strands of hair, the sa color as his thin beard, peeked from under his hood.

He wore a calm expression, sitting like a statue, unmoving. His strong, sinewy arms rested on the stone chair's armrests, exuding the majesty of an unshakable mountain.

He was the perfect embodint of the celestial ruler imagined by many in ancient tis, long before they t any gods in person.

Even among other gods, his height was striking. It gave the old man a presence so commanding that in Heaven, other gods and goddesses bowed to him without questioning why his aura was so formidable.

"Welco, child of Hera, and your two companions."

Ouranos's eyes briefly flicked to Aishia and Est, standing calmly at Charlie's sides, before returning to the young man below.

"I am Ouranos, the first god to descend from Heaven to the lower world and the one who founded the Guild a thousand years ago."

He introduced himself briefly, yet each word carried authority.

Bowing slightly, Charlie placed his right hand over his left chest in a gesture of respect.

"A pleasure to et you, God Ouranos. My na is Charlie Avalon."

His voice was calm, showing a rare courtesy he didn't often extend to most people. Even Charlie felt the god's powerful aura in his presence.

"God Ouranos, may I know the purpose of your wish to et ?"
